The pirates sat and forgot, and they really believed the nine truths and one lie.

Chapter 1744 Severely Injuring the Three Heroes

Chapter 1744 Severely Injuring the Three Heroes

Nekomamushi and Inuarashi in their Sulong forms are barely comparable in overall strength, ranking as third to fourth-rate in mainstream power systems.

If they were to face the lowest-ranking Disaster-level executive of the Beasts Pirates, the two of them, with their explosive speed and perfect teamwork brought by Sulong, might still have a fighting chance, or even find a way to win.

But today, they are facing the giant black charcoal snake.

The cats and dogs, whose speed is already extremely fast under the blessing of Sulong, are, to put it nicely, difficult to gain an advantage against Kurozumi Orochi.

To put it bluntly, they were completely overwhelmed and toyed with. The effortless ease, speed, and agility that Orochi displayed were beyond their comprehension.

"Bang! Bang!" Two muffled sounds rang out as two huge, blood-stained, hairy bodies were kicked away by the black charcoal snake, leaving two long furrows in the ground before finally coming to a stop beneath the hull of the Moby Dick.

After the kinetic energy dissipated, excruciating pain struck, and the cat and dog coughed up mouthfuls of blood at the same time. The bright red blood quickly stained the white mane on their chests, making them look disheveled and miserable.

The power of the black serpent exceeded the imagination of the Mink King.

This was only because the opponent hadn't used the bizarre power of the Eight-Headed Serpent Fruit, and might not have even fully unleashed their Haki; they had simply crushed them in their most basic human form.

"Cough, that damned bastard..." The cat viper spat out another mouthful of bloody foam mixed with broken teeth, its eyes filled with incomprehension and resentment.

"If he had that kind of power back then, why would he have resorted to all those schemes and tricks, willingly serving under his lord for so many years?!"

Inuarashi was also puzzled. He barely wiped the blood that kept spilling from the corner of his mouth with his paw and analyzed while panting, "Perhaps Orochi, and the people behind him, have always had a deeper conspiracy. They've been playing along with the Kozuki family all along..."

The thought sent chills down his spine.

What happened to the previous Kozuki Shogun, Kozuki Sukiyaki? Kurozumi Orochi once assisted him for a period of time, after which Kozuki Oden's father disappeared.

If Kozuki Sukiyaki were still alive back then, she might have stopped her son from performing a nude dance in public, causing the people of Wano Country to lose their last bit of trust in the Kozuki family.

Standing at the bow of the Moby Dick, Raizo watched his two brothers being defeated so miserably, and his hatred for Kurozumi Orochi completely overwhelmed his reason.

He wanted to avenge his fallen retainers, even though he knew he was no match for them!

"Clone Technique!"

Raizo quickly formed a hand seal, and in the next instant, more than a dozen clones modeled after him appeared around him.

The main body, mixed among the clones, leaped off the ship without hesitation and charged towards the Kurozumi Orochi.

"Oh?" Kurozumi Orochi finally raised his eyelids.

He gave Raizo a second glance, thinking that this guy might actually know some ninjutsu, but soon, the interest in his eyes turned into obvious disappointment, and he curled up a disdainful lip.

The clone technique used by Raizo is completely different from the true Shadow Clone Technique from the ninjutsu system; the two are worlds apart.

Raizo's clones are mostly illusions created by smoke or some rudimentary technique. They can be used to confuse and distract opponents, but they don't pose much of a real obstacle, nor do they have the ability to fight independently or share damage.

“I thought too highly of you,” Kurozumi Orochi shook his head, his voice full of mockery.

"I thought that the retainers of the Kozuki family would know some real ninjutsu, but it seems they don't even know the basics."

He simply unleashed his Observation Haki and was able to easily lock onto and see which of the dozen or so clones was the original body with an aura that was different from the others.

If it is a true Shadow Clone Technique, each clone has a physical form and the same aura, making it difficult to directly identify the original using Observation Haki.

Raizo's move looks impressive, but that's about it; it's a complete fake ninjutsu.

Lightning Shuriken!

Raizo, who was mixed in with his clones, seized what he thought was an opportunity and suddenly threw out the shuriken wrapped in crackling electricity. This was his most lethal move.

At the same time, the surrounding clones also made throwing motions, and for a moment it seemed as if dozens of shuriken flashing with lightning were flying towards Kurozumi Orochi from all directions.

Faced with this seemingly impenetrable attack, Kurozumi Orochi merely gave a sinister smile, a strange red light flashing in his eyes.

The next moment, "Whoosh—!"

A blazing, incredibly fast red laser beam shot out from his eyes, piercing precisely through several of Raizo's clones before reaching his single, original body.

Those lightning shuriken that were still in mid-air and had not yet reached the black charcoal serpent were instantly vaporized upon contact with the aftershocks or trajectory of the high-temperature laser, turning into wisps of black smoke and dissipating.

The main laser beam pierced through Raizo's body without any hindrance in a fraction of a second.

"Ah—!!!" Raizo let out a heart-wrenching scream.

His left shoulder and part of his chest were blasted apart by the laser, and the air was instantly filled with the aroma of burnt flesh.

He fell heavily to the ground, his body convulsing and spasming, his face ashen white from extreme pain and blood loss.

Unexpectedly, even a casual strike from Kurozumi Orochi was too much for Kozuki Oden's retainers to handle.

In Kurozumi Orochi's eyes, the group of useless people that Kozuki Oden took in back then were nothing but a burden.

"It seems the ninjutsu of Wano Country has truly been lost." Kurozumi Orochi shook his head, giving an objective and cold assessment as he looked at Raizo struggling in pain on the ground.

"If you had been exposed to a real, complete system and tradition of ninjutsu from a young age, with your talent, you might have been able to become a qualified ninja."

"What a pity..."

His voice was cold and devoid of emotion: "Your talent has been wasted and wasted."

Orochi added one last sentence, a flash of murderous intent in his eyes, "Even if you were once a genius, you're too old now; you're just a buried genius. You're not worth sparing your life."

As soon as he finished speaking, he slightly raised his finger, and the dangerous red light shone on his fingertip again. Clearly, he was going to give Raizo the final blow and completely end this useless remnant of the Kozuki clan.

"Be careful!!"

"Get out of the way!!"

Nekomamushi and Inuarashi shouted that they didn't want to see Raizo die in front of them. The Nine Red Scabbards were dwindling in number, and there were hardly any of the old members of the Kozuki family left.

Hiyori Kozuki witnessed all of this, tears welling in her eyes. Everything was irreversible.
