Chapter 704: Giving You One More Chance

Chapter 704: Giving You One More Chance

Jared Quinn grunted, "Be good, I’ll explain when we get back, call Dr. Mo."Melody Thorne choked up while making the call, and when she turned back, Jared had already fainted.

Dr. Mo treated Jared’s wound, it was a bullet, it was lucky he held out this long.

When Jared woke up, Melody Thorne had changed her clothes, her eyes were red and swollen.

"Don’t cry anymore, it was my fault, it won’t happen again, okay?" Jared softly consoled her, "This time was an accident."

According to their plan, all three of them should have gotten out unscathed.

"You’ve lost your credibility," Melody Thorne slapped away his hand with a cold expression.

"Sir, you had an episode, luckily your wife found you, otherwise it would have been trouble," Dr. Mo interjected.

Jared’s dark eyes suddenly sank, his large hand pulled Melody Thorne closer, clearly seeing the purple marks on her neck, obviously forcefully.

"I’m fine," Melody Thorne covered her neck with both hands.

Jared’s deep eyes fluctuated and gradually cooled, his large hand released her, "Leave!"

"What?"

"I told you to leave," Jared roared, "Get out now."

"Why are you yelling? You’re so badly injured, how could I leave? I already told you I’m fine."

"Melody Thorne, are you just as shameless as before? Did you not hear me when I told you to leave? Or do you want to cling to me like before? Want me to satisfy you in bed?"

Melody Thorne’s chest heaved, knowing he wanted her to leave, fearing he couldn’t control himself and would hurt her, yet her chest still felt like it was pierced by needles "Jared, I’ll give you one chance, say it again."

"I said, the old you was utterly detestable!" he declared without hesitation.

Melody Thorne clenched her fists, "Don’t regret it, now you’re driving me away, don’t expect me to return when you recover, Jared, you’re a complete bastard!"

"Ma’am, Ma’am," Dr. Mo watched helplessly as Melody Thorne left in anger.

"Jared, you clearly just fear she’ll get hurt, why not just talk things out? Why use this method?"

"Got a smoke?" Jared reached out.

"Yes," Dr. Mo handed him a cigarette, "You’ve hurt her before, this time you’ve probably hurt her again."

Every time, the hard-won relationship was made fragile.

"If I don’t say it, will she leave? Protect our child?" Jared’s handsome face faded to shadow, "With me, she might die, I have no recollection of what just happened."

His mind was blank, all he saw were the marks on Melody’s neck.

Dr. Mo sighed, "That drugged person, caught?"

Jared pointed to the adjacent room.

Dr. Mo opened the door and inhaled sharply, the person inside was in a pitiful state.

"Hand him to Leon Rivers, have him stabilize my condition as quickly as possible," Jared said, his fingertips smoldering with smoke, his heart aching, all he could see was Melody Thorne’s aggrieved, pretty face.

Anguish overwhelmed him.

Quinn Family.

"Ma’am, what are you planning to do?" The butler trailed behind Melody Thorne, drenched in sweat.

Melody Thorne packed her clothes along with Timmy’s, "We’re moving out."
