After Rong Qingqing hung up the phone, Rong Kuo went back to sleep.
It’s only been half an hour, just when he was getting into deep sleep, the phone rang again.
When he saw it was Shen Jue calling, Rong Kuo felt like he could swallow the hearts of the couple alive.
"What do you want?"

"Qingqing has called you late two nights in a row, is something wrong with Jixing?" Shen Jue asked, "If you need anything, you can contact me directly. For Qingqing’s sake, I, and Shen Group will give the utmost support."
Shen Jue’s implied message was for Rong Kuo not to bother Qingqing with Jixing’s matters. She’s pregnant, soon to give birth, and can’t handle the stress of midnight calls worrying about the company.
Hearing this, Rong Kuo first laughed out of frustration.
"What did I owe you two in my past life? What sin did I commit to end up with a sister like Rong Qingqing and a brother-in-law like you?"

Rong Kuo wouldn’t dare criticize Qingqing, but he had no reservations with Shen Jue.
Shen Jue had never been cursed like this before; if the person weren’t Qingqing’s brother, anyone else would already be buying a ticket to hide in the North Pole overnight.
"I’m sorry." After listening to Rong Kuo, Shen Jue realized he’d misjudged him.

"I didn’t know she was upset," Shen Jue genuinely had no idea, "In fact, she was in a great mood before going to sleep tonight."
Rong Kuo knew; the internet was rife with photos of the couple dining out, shopping, watching movies. In the pictures, Qingqing indeed looked particularly happy.
"She’s about to give birth, so her emotions might be a bit unstable. Put the company stuff aside for a while and be with her more, she might be scared," Rong Kuo sighed, "Though she appears cheerful and fearless, she was actually quite delicate and afraid of pain as a child."
