Chapter 2097, Item 2.95: Dinosaur Energy Coins
The files of two of the most famous female villains appeared on the spaceship's screen.
Rita Repulsa, appearing as "Queen Rita" and "Witch Rita," is one of the most prominent figures representing evil forces in the universe. She is typically characterized by her purple robes, pointed hat, and snake-shaped headdress, and wields a magic wand. She is skilled in using magic and monsters to attack Earth's warriors. Initially appearing as Queen Rita, she attempted to conquer Earth, but later in the story, she was purified and transformed into the positive character "Mother of Magic," guiding a new generation of warriors.
Divatox, the queen of space pirates, leads a band of ruthless aliens, monsters, and mutants to spread evil throughout the universe. Departing from her base—the gigantic fish-shaped submarine "Subcraft"—Divatox and her minions traverse the cosmos, plundering riches to satisfy their insatiable greed. Divatox possesses the ability to teleport, fire powerful energy beams from her eyes, has a lizard-like flicking tongue capable of catching insects, and a robust physique that allows her to survive in space. A small, concealed scimitar on her left wrist allows her to unexpectedly sever handcuffs or cut throats, aiding her in escape.
The most famous villain in both American Power Rangers movies, bar none.
"Should we wake them up?" Seeing that Captain Nine-Tailed Fox hadn't spoken yet, Elsa, the yellow-clad warrior, couldn't help but ask.
“No need.” After carefully reviewing the two individuals’ information, Captain Nine-Tails smiled and said, “Two excellent test subjects are just right for verifying our variant reagent.”
"I see." Elsa, the yellow-clad warrior, was clearly satisfied with the deal. "So, when will the spaceship be repaired?"
"Right away." Captain Nine-Tails displayed the latest repair and upgrade plan in a pop-up window: "Take a look and see if there are any problems."
"Wow..." Elsa, the warrior in yellow, was impressed by the advanced technology possessed by the female warriors. Of course, from a plot perspective, this 90s spaceship also boasts remarkable high technology. Just like different science fiction genres, the difference between cyberpunk and dieselpunk is simply a matter of style. Therefore, for players, the only standard for judging the characters in the game is their star rating.
The Kosei time-travel ship, inspired by a classic 90s sci-fi story, would undoubtedly have been a 5-star "Legendary Vehicle" in its prime. However, when the Kosei is under maintenance, at least two of its icons will turn gray and become inactive: "Time Travel Accelerator" and "Human Cannon." In other words, the ship's current star rating is most likely only 3 stars.
It's easy to imagine that the conditions for repairing the most important core function of this time-space spaceship must be extremely demanding.
It's incredibly difficult.
Of course, Elsa, the Yellow Warrior, didn't expect the Nine-Tailed Fox to be able to restore the special abilities of the two 5-star "Legendary Vehicles," the "Time Travel Accelerator" and the "Human Cannon." She only needed to repair the ship's damage and complete the necessary war resupply.
While the drone was being repaired, Captain Nine-Tailed continued to advance the plot through dialogue: "What's next?"
"Find the lost Dinosaur Energy Coins," Elsa, the yellow-clad warrior, answered softly.
"Ah." Captain Nine-Tails immediately realized. The Dragon Power Coin is an exclusive item for all team members to transform into "Masked Superman." Specifically, it is the core component of the Power Morphers used by the first generation of the Power Rangers. It works in conjunction with the Power Morphers and Power Morphers to extract dinosaur energy and connect to the transformation network, transforming them into Power Warriors. The coin can also transform into Power Crystals, used to teleport to isolated teammates or to transfer energy to Zod. Later in the story, variations such as the Ninja Coin were also developed.
“I guess these lost dinosaur energy coins must have been left behind in the past along with their respective owners,” Captain Nine-Tailed said, offering his guess.
“No.” Elsa, the warrior in yellow, gently shook her head: “If that were the case, my teammates wouldn’t have stayed in the past.”
Captain Nine-Tailed immediately realized: "Dinosaur Energy Coins can transform into Extraordinary Crystals, which can teleport you to your lone companions."
“Or teleport to my side,” Elsa, the yellow-clad warrior, added.
"So, where did you lose those transformation coins?" Captain Nine-Tails pressed. "They were left on this island." Elsa, the Yellow Warrior, was filled with self-reproach: "They were stolen from me by that wretched thief."
"..." No wonder the Nine-Tails captain's eyes widened. This reason is just too... casual.
“I know it’s ridiculous,” Elsa, the warrior in yellow, sighed. “But the fact is, it was stolen.”
Does this mean that anyone who obtains a "Transformation Coin" can transform into a super warrior?
“You have to be recognized,” Elsa, the warrior in yellow, added.
"I'm very curious how this contestant managed to stitch together 'Dinosaur Express Koseidon' and 'Power Rangers' together." Wu Chen couldn't help but laugh after listening to their conversation.
"My lord, could it be the lost 'Transformation Coin'? Or, as a backup plan, could we transform using the repaired 'Human Cannon'?" Based on the existing plot elements, Captain Nine-Tails made a reasonable guess.
"That's possible." For some reason, Wu Chen suddenly thought of the corpse of the Bloodwinged Feathered Serpent that coiled around the outer corridor. Now it seemed that this might be an important foreshadowing...
"Huh?" Just then, the Nine-Tails Captain suddenly received a pop-up notification: "This is..."
A general-purpose drone, which is repairing the Kosei spaceship using "local consumables canisters," discovered a hidden mark while cleaning rust off its body.
Wu Chen was very familiar with the "T"-shaped icon composed of two sharp blades: "Predator".
"My lord, are you referring to the Predator spaceship from Alien vs. Predator?" Captain Nine-Tailed immediately pulled up the relevant information: "Could it be that a player in the competition modified a Predator spaceship from 'Predator' into a time-space spaceship from 'Dinosaur Express Koseidon'?"
"The plot is getting more and more interesting." Wu Chen seemed to have thought of something: "Ask her if she has ever seen a similar pyramid."
"By the way, have you ever seen a pyramid similar to our camp?" Captain Nine-Tailed asked immediately.
“Yes.” Elsa, the Yellow Warrior, nodded almost without hesitation. “That’s right. On another island. But they don’t like contact with the outside world. And they possess advanced alien technology, even the ability to tame alien dinosaurs…”
Pyramids, alien technology, and alien dinosaurs. Adding all these elements together, Wu Chen was almost certain it was the plot of *Alien vs. Predator 1*.
Charles Weyland, the billionaire owner of Weyland Industries, discovers an ancient pyramid-shaped temple buried thousands of feet beneath the Antarctic ice using his PS-12 thermal imaging satellite. Calculations suggest this Aztec temple predates the Egyptian pyramids. To verify his discovery, Charles assembles an elite expedition to Antarctica. The expedition inadvertently awakens the sleeping Xenomorph Queen, who begins laying numerous eggs. Worse still, the Predators, once revered as gods by the Aztecs, also arrive. Two thousand years later, three Predators begin their annual Xenomorph hunt once more on Earth…
The tangled web of plot points truly embodies the essence of player competition. However, Wu Chen and his teammates sensed an overwhelming malice within it. It's highly likely that a crucial foreshadowing is hidden there, hence the desperate attempts to confuse the issue and take advantage of the chaos.
The question is, who converted the Ironblood spaceship into the Kosei?
