Chapter 150: How Are You Pete's Father?

Chapter 150: How Are You Pete's Father?

Tony suggested, "Andrea, why don't we go to the hospital and get the results? That might be better."

After thinking it over, Andrea agreed. They left the Presidential Hotel and drove to the hospital. When they arrived, Andrea's doctor, Doctor Kone, was already in his office waiting for them.

"Mrs. Singers, I thought you might not need the DNA test results, but just in case, I kept them safe. Here they are," Doctor Kone said, extending an envelope towards her.

With trembling hands, Andrea took it. Nervous, she forgot to thank Doctor Kone and immediately pulled the DNA test slip from the envelope.

As she read the paper, her pupils dilated in disbelief. She looked at Doctor Kone, stunned. "Doctor Kone, does this mean they have a father-son relationship?"

While Andrea was knowledgeable about the data, nothing seemed to make sense to her.

Doctor Kone, who had supervised the test, was aware of the final result. Without hesitation, he confirmed, "Yes, they are father and son."

Tony, sitting beside Andrea, was equally astonished. He snatched the DNA test slip from her and stared at it in shock, unable to believe it.

Anxious, Andrea exclaimed, "How is that possible? I have never had sex with him! How can I be carrying his child?"

Doctor Kone was surprised as well. He had thought the DNA test was for Valentine Anderson and Pete. He looked at Tony suspiciously.

Tony, flustered, retorted, "It has nothing to do with me! Why are you looking at me like that?"

Doctor Kone smiled apologetically and explained, "Mrs. Singers, there's a possibility of semen insemination."

Hearing this, Andrea was even more confused. Tony immediately said, "Andrea, I'll contact Lucas right away and inquire about this. You should go home and rest."

Andrea nodded. She had received so many shocks today that her entire body felt numb and her brain overloaded.

Nodding, she left Doctor Kone's office in a daze. Tony drove Andrea to the Singers mansion before driving off to confront Lucas and find out how Andrea ended up pregnant with his child.

Andrea stood in the courtyard of the Singers mansion for five minutes, motionless, causing concern among the staff. Housekeeper Win approached her, her face etched with worry. "Ma'am Andrea, what is the matter?" she asked.

Andrea snapped out of her daze and, without a word, strode into the house. Housekeeper Win and the other staff exchanged puzzled looks and whispered among themselves.

Inside the lively living room, Valentine, Mrs. Anderson, and Benita were chatting happily. When Valentine saw Andrea, he immediately stood up and walked towards her with a smile. "Andrea, I invited Mom and Benny over to discuss our wedding tomorrow. They are all excited for us."

Andrea's clear eyes grew misty with confusion. She opened her mouth and said, "Val, we need to talk."

That was all she said before heading upstairs. Mrs. Anderson and Benita were taken aback, not expecting Andrea to ignore them so completely.

Valentine's heart filled with foreboding, but he smiled and reassured Mrs. Anderson and Benita, "Mom, I'll go check on Andrea. She seemed pale." Mrs. Anderson nodded, and Valentine quickly followed Andrea.

In the bedroom, he found Andrea sitting on the bed, muttering to herself. Worried, he asked, "Andrea, what is the matter? You're scaring me."

His face was filled with concern.

Andrea looked at him nervously. She opened her mouth, hesitated, and then blurted out, "Pete isn't your son."

Valentine's eyes widened in shock. He hadn’t expected Andrea to discover the truth so soon.

Seeing his reaction, Andrea asked suspiciously, "You already knew the truth?"

Valentine fell to his knees, tears welling up as he began to sob. "Andrea, I knew. I was scared to tell you. I was afraid you'd think you betrayed me and leave me. I don't want to lose you or Pete. I didn't want you to find out about the horrible things my twin brother did to you. I'm so sorry for keeping the truth from you. I love you, Andrea..."

Annoyed by his incessant ranting, Andrea interjected impatiently, "Val, do you know how I got pregnant by Lucas?"

Valentine was silent; he didn’t know. He had met Lucas five years after Andrea gave birth to Pete. Lucas had never mentioned Andrea, or had he been pretending all along?

Andrea's voice snapped him out of his thoughts. "Val, do you?"

Regaining his composure, he admitted, "I don't know how he did it. But I will find out and make him pay for his evil deeds. He is a despicable, vile bastard!"

Andrea retorted impatiently, "Just leave. I want to be alone."

Valentine clenched his fists, reluctant to leave but resigned. As he reached the door, he turned back and said, "Andrea, I have prepared your wedding gown. Please take some time to check it out."

"Just cancel the wedding. I don't think I can go through with it," Andrea replied, burying her face in her hands. Her life felt like a mess.

Valentine's face darkened. He hadn’t expected her rejection. Stepping out and closing the door behind him, he took a few steps forward with a gloomy expression, muttering coldly, "Andrea, you are mine. No one else can have you."

He whipped out his phone and dialed a number.

After Tony contacted Lucas and found out his location, he immediately drove over, fury etched on his face. Alighting from his truck, he roared, "Raping bastard! Lucas, you scum, get out here! Rapist!"

Lucas stepped out of the house, looking surprised.

Seeing him, Tony’s anger intensified. He charged forward with clenched fists, but before he could land a punch, Lucas sent him flying with a powerful kick.

"Out of respect for Andrea, I won’t hurt you anymore. You should leave," Lucas said curtly, turning to go back inside. But Tony's next words stopped him in his tracks. "Bastard! How can you be Pete's father without raping Andrea? You're a scum, a despicable scumbag. Don’t ever mention Andrea with your filthy mouth."
