Accidentally Slept With The Ruthless Billionaire

Chapter 593: Everything Is Fake

Chapter 593: Everything Is Fake

"I can’t believe this. The CEO of Phoenix Alliance Group cheating with Reese? Unreal. It’s time to show the world who he really is!"

The hotel’s security guards tried to block the crowd, but the reporters pushed through, flooding the lobby. With the elevators jammed, many rushed to the emergency stairs, dragging their cameras and tripods as they climbed.

Strangely, the lobby manager didn’t step in. He had clear instructions from the top: let the media do whatever they wanted. “I don’t know what this is about, but it’s going to be a show,” he muttered.

In one of the hotel rooms, sunlight poured in through the window, lighting up Bianca’s face. She frowned and slowly opened her eyes, her head aching.

The room felt unfamiliar. She didn’t know where she was. Her mind was hazy. She remembered Brenda helping her, but everything after that was a blur.

She rubbed her temples and reached for her phone, planning to call Dave and Reese to find out what had happened.

Before she could make the call, there was a knock at the door, followed by the soft click of the lock.

“Bianca, are you awake? How are you feeling?”

Brenda’s voice cut through the fog in Bianca’s mind, bringing a sense of relief.

“Thankfully, just a little dizzy and really thirsty.” Bianca swung her legs over the side of the bed and grabbed the bottle of mineral water on the nightstand. She unscrewed the cap and took a long drink, the cool water easing her dry throat.

“I’m glad you’re okay. You were pretty drunk last night, so I brought you here to rest,” Brenda said gently as she entered, holding a tray with hot coffee and a slice of cake.

“Thank you, Ms. McGee. I’ve never been good with alcohol.”

Just as things started to calm down, a loud noise came from the hallway.

“What’s happening? Is that an earthquake?” Bianca asked, frowning in confusion.

Brenda got up and put the tray down. “Stay here. I’ll go see what’s going on. Drink the coffee, it helps with hangovers.”

She opened the door, only to find the hallway packed with reporters. She quickly stepped back inside and told Bianca what was going on.

“The hallway’s full of reporters. Something big must’ve gone down. Bianca, want to take a look?”

Bianca’s eyes lit up with curiosity. The coffee had helped her feel more awake.

“Yeah, let’s go see.”

They walked into the hallway together. The air buzzed with voices and bits of tense conversation.

“Ready? It’s time to knock!” someone said loudly.

“Hurry! Don’t let him get away, this is big!”

“It’s such a shame Reese got taken advantage of…”

Bianca stopped in her tracks. Her heart pounded. The words felt like a shock. She quickly grabbed her phone and tried calling Reese, but there was no answer.

Then, a sharp voice rose above the noise. “The CEO of Phoenix Alliance Group is such a jerk! He already has a girlfriend, and now he’s slept with Reese too! Unbelievable!”

Bianca’s eyes went wide.

The phone slipped from Bianca’s shaking hands. She caught it just before it hit the floor, but her legs felt weak.

The noise around her faded into a blur, too loud and messy to make sense. She tried to focus and quickly called Dave.

But only an automated voice answered and his phone was off.

Bianca’s chest tightened. Her legs nearly gave out, and if Brenda hadn’t been there to catch her, she would’ve fallen.

Then a small voice in her head broke through the panic. This had to be a mistake. Dave and Reese? No way. It didn’t add up.

Something kept bothering Bianca. She knew she drank last night, but most of it was a blur. Her alcohol tolerance wasn’t great, but it had never hit her this hard before. The missing pieces in her memory didn’t feel normal. They felt too intentional.

A cold feeling settled in Bianca’s chest. Something felt off. But she didn’t have time to think it through. Everything was already falling apart. Phoenix Alliance Group and Emerald Artists Agency were standing on the edge of disaster.

“Wait, don’t—”

Bianca’s voice rose in panic, but no one listened. A man pushed through the crowd, holding a room card. He swiped it quickly and unlocked the door.

“Move, now! Let’s go!” he shouted.

In seconds, the reporters rushed forward, shoving Bianca and Brenda into the room. Chaos exploded. Cameras flashed, and voices shouted over each other, all demanding answers.

Bianca clenched her fingers, her heart pounding with a feeling she couldn’t explain. She hesitated to look inside.

The cameras were already pointed at the room. Their flashlights lit up everything.

But when everyone saw what was or wasn’t there, they were stunned.

The king-sized bed was completely empty.

“Where are they?”

“Why isn’t anyone here?”

“Damn it! Were we set up?”

Brenda stood still, her mind spinning.

Why weren’t Reese and Dave in bed? Maybe Blake’s plan didn’t work after all.

Brenda forced a calm tone, hiding her frustration. “This has to be a misunderstanding. There’s clearly nothing here.”

Bianca exhaled softly, and a shaky sense of relief filled her chest. But Dave and Reese still weren’t answering her call, and it made her feel anxious. The worry started to creep back into her mind.

Just then, someone shouted, startled. “There’s water running in the bathroom!”

Bianca’s heart jumped.

Brenda noticed the nervous look in her eyes and couldn’t help but smile faintly.

“Come on, let’s check. We were probably too loud earlier; they must be hiding.”

“You’re right,” someone else added. “Even if they’re not in bed, catching them together will prove everything.”

“If this turns out to be fake,” someone muttered, “I swear, whoever sent that tip is gonna pay. I got up early for this!”

Just then, the bathroom door creaked open. Every head turned at once.

Dave walked out, the light catching his bare chest and defined abs. A bathrobe wrapped around his waist. He looked calm, but his eyes were sharp.

Cameras started flashing nonstop. The room fell silent except for the sound of shutters clicking.

His face turned cold. “What are you all doing here?”

“Mr. Evans,” one reporter asked carefully, “are you alone? We were told you were here with a well-known actress.”

Another spoke up quickly, “As the CEO of Phoenix Entertainment, can you confirm or deny the rumors that you took advantage of an actress?”

“Mr. Evans, the public deserves an explanation!”

Dave’s eyes swept over the crowd and landed on Bianca. His face didn’t change.

“I’m the only one here,” he said flatly.

He stepped aside and motioned toward the room. “Go ahead. Look for yourselves.”
