Chapter 572: To Build A World Class Agency
Chapter 572: To Build A World Class Agency
On the way, Bianca told Reese about the company’s new partnerships with different brands. She explained that more sponsors meant more exposure and better opportunities for her as an actress.
“Get ready, because after signing this contract, you won’t have much time to rest. Time is important, and we need to use it well. We need bigger platforms to help you get noticed and create more chances for you. Publicity matters,” Bianca said.
She didn’t mention the Universal Pictures news to Reese. It wasn’t that she didn’t trust her, but she wanted to be careful and avoid any leaks for now.
What Bianca focused on now was helping their artists grow and reach a world-class level. The first step was getting them seen and liked by the public.
Besides Reese, Bianca had also planned training sessions for Sophia and the other artists. They didn’t just represent the agency; they represented all of Bianca’s hard work for the company.
Soon, they arrived at the venue. Reese, Bianca, and Phoenix Entertainment signed the S-level contract while the media took photos and covered the event until it ended.
Phoenix Alliance Group’s stock price and Phoenix Entertainment’s official announcement became top trends on Twitter. For a while, the internet was full of discussions.
Reese was a rising star, but her looks and the way she handled public attention had already earned her a lot of fans online.
Phoenix Entertainment timed the news well, helping investors feel more confident about buying Phoenix Alliance Group’s stocks.
Some economists even said that Phoenix Alliance Group’s stock was now seriously undervalued and needed to rise for at least five days straight to match its real value.
Diana saw the news too. She felt a little regret, knowing she had sold a lot of Phoenix Alliance Group shares that morning, only to see this news appear.
Brandon grinned and said, “I feel like I could just quit my job and live off Phoenix Alliance Group’s stocks forever. Diana, why don’t you quit too and travel the world with me?”
Diana rolled her eyes. Brandon was getting more shameless as time went by.
“Do you really think I’d rely on you to support me if I stopped working?” she snapped without thinking. The moment the words left her mouth, she regretted saying them, but it was too late.
Brandon sat up straight and looked her in the eyes. “I’ll support you,” he said seriously.
Diana felt something strange stir in her chest. She didn’t know what it was. Trying to shake it off, she glared at him and said, “No matter what, I’m never going to be your sugar baby!”
“We can solve that. If you don’t want to be my sugar baby, then marry me,” Brandon said. His voice was casual, but his eyes showed he meant it.
Diana froze for a moment, then let out a cold snort. “Mr. Foster, are you even listening to yourself? I’m not even your girlfriend, and you’re talking about marriage?”
Brandon kept smiling. “Diana, if a person doesn’t have dreams, they’re just an empty shell. The world’s big. I’d rather dream bigger.”
Diana went quiet for a moment. Then she looked at Brandon and said, “But I don’t believe in dreaming wildly.”
Brandon let out a dry laugh. She really knew how to ruin the mood. “Do you want me to be an empty shell then?” he asked.
“Yes, if that will stop you from daydreaming,” Diana replied with a smirk. She then changed the topic. “So, when can we start bringing celebrities over to our company?”
Opportunities only came to those who were ready. The company had everything except one thing: enough talented stars. Top stars were hard to find.
“Are you and Bianca hiding something from me?” Brandon asked. “If I were Bianca, I’d put everything behind Reese by now.”
He already knew about the S-level contract with Phoenix Entertainment. But Bianca seemed to have bigger plans that she wasn’t sharing.
“There’s nothing going on,” Diana replied. She was lying, following Bianca’s instructions to keep things secret. “We can’t depend only on Reese. Bianca wants to build a world-class agency. We need more stars to do that.”
Her thoughts became clear. “We used to struggle with money. But now, with Phoenix Alliance Group’s help, we’re finally in a position to make our dreams happen.”
Brandon nodded, agreeing with Diana. Bianca’s way of thinking reminded him of how Dave handled business. She knew what she wanted and had a clear plan.
Relying too much on one star was risky. If that star left, the company would struggle. But if they built a place where talents wanted to stay, where new stars kept coming in, the company would grow stronger. It wouldn’t matter if some people left, the agency would keep moving forward.
“Bianca’s got a great vision,” Brandon said. “This way, the company can last.”
Diana crossed her arms and said, “Why are you only praising Bianca? Don’t I deserve some credit too? I’m doing my part.”
“Are you getting jealous?” Brandon teased, seeing his chance to finally compliment her.
“No, that’s not what I meant,” Diana said with a laugh, sounding relaxed.
“You’re amazing, Diana. Emerald Artists Agency wouldn’t be the same without you,” Brandon said, meaning every word.
He tried to charm her, and even though she didn’t seem fully convinced, he felt satisfied. At least she still cared about what he thought. That meant their connection wasn’t gone. It was a good start.
But they needed more time. More effort. Maybe then, the feelings between them could grow again.
As soon as Brandon left the agency, he called Dave. “Anything big happening at Emerald Artists Agency?” he asked.
Dave was in a meeting, but when his guards reported Brandon’s frequent visits to Bianca’s company, he got curious and answered the call. If he didn’t know Brandon was interested in Diana, he might have felt anxious.
“What makes you ask?” Dave said. He already knew, but he wanted to hear what Brandon would say.
“Diana and Bianca sold all their Phoenix Alliance Group stocks. Now, they’re focusing on building a team of new talents,” Brandon said, watching for Dave’s reaction.
But Dave’s voice turned cold. “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket, Brandon.”
Then he hung up, leaving Brandon confused.
“Hey... I wasn’t done talking yet,” Brandon muttered, frowning as he thought.
He replayed Dave’s words in his mind, trying to figure out what was happening. From his point of view, shouldn’t they focus everything on Reese right now? Was there something he was missing?
“I don’t care about Bianca’s plans. But if Diana’s happiness is involved, I won’t just stand by and do nothing,” he promised himself.
