Accidentally Slept With The Ruthless Billionaire

Chapter 559: Raised A New Money

Chapter 559: Raised A New Money

Diana stared at him, speechless. She couldn’t tell if he was being honest or just making up an excuse. But somehow, it felt like something had shifted between them. They seemed… closer.

Meanwhile, after Bianca sent her account number to Madison, she quickly received a bank transfer. When she checked her balance, her eyes widened in shock.

She stared at the screen, blinking several times.

No way...

Bianca looked at the numbers again and again to make sure she wasn’t imagining things.

Five billion dollars.

How on earth did Madison and Leonel have that kind of money?

Bianca quickly tapped her phone, her fingers shaking as she called Madison. As soon as the call connected, she blurted out, “Mom, this is too much! Where did all that money come from?”

Madison pulled the phone slightly away from her ear, letting Bianca’s shocked voice settle before she answered. “It’s not as much as it looks,” she said calmly. “I’ve been working abroad for years. And your brother’s research breakthrough changed everything. He got a huge advance. We sold off most of our assets. That’s all we have.”

“You’ve got to be kidding me. Wow...” Bianca felt her head spin. She couldn’t believe it. Her mom and brother were secretly loaded. If she had known, why had she pawned that red diamond necklace? She could’ve just asked for help to save Emerald Artists Agency.

But back then, it never even crossed her mind. She didn’t want to involve her family. She wanted to clean up her own mess.

Now, realizing she was the least well-off among them, Bianca had no words. She was completely speechless.

"Okay. I won’t let your money go to waste. If Phoenix Alliance Group’s stock rises, I’ll give you all the profit. And if it doesn’t… I’ll find a way to earn and pay you back."

“Bianc…”

Madison tried to speak, but Bianca cut her off. “Mom, I know we’re family. But I can’t just throw away our money like it means nothing. I have to take responsibility for my choices.”

Madison sighed and shook her head, her heart aching a little. Bianca had always been strong and independent. She wanted to handle everything on her own. The more Bianca stood her ground, the more Madison felt she owed her.

But knowing how stubborn her daughter was, Madison didn’t argue. Deep down, she promised herself she’d protect Bianca’s future, no matter what it took. This was a big risk, but she had already chosen to believe in her.

Lucas’s condition in the hospital was stable. In the room, Bianca and Dave exchanged a quick glance, silently agreeing not to bring up anything about Phoenix Alliance Group.

But then Lucas asked, “How are the Phoenix Alliance Group stocks doing now?”

“Grandpa, everything’s under control,” Dave said calmly, standing by his bedside.

“Good. Handle things well out there,” Lucas replied, sounding relieved.

Dave gave a nod. “I will, Grandpa.” He gently blew on a spoonful of food to cool it down, then brought it to Lucas's mouth carefully.

Lucas smiled as he enjoyed the bite, his eyes full of gratitude as he looked at Dave. He never thought a day would come when his grandson would be the one taking care of him, especially after all their past arguments.

When Lucas finally fell asleep, Dave and Bianca quietly left the hospital room. Brady was nowhere to be seen outside.

Bianca led Dave to a quieter spot. “Dave, about Phoenix Alliance Group…”

She didn’t know the exact amount still needed to lift the stock, but she wasn’t going to let Dave handle it all alone.

“I’ve raised some money. About five billion,” she said. It was the most she could manage.

Dave looked shocked for a moment, his eyes widening. He didn’t know how Bianca had come up with such a huge amount, but he could tell she had given it everything she had.

“I’m really sorry to worry you,” he said softly, pulling her into a gentle hug. He leaned down and whispered, “Don’t worry. I’ll pay you back double.”

Bianca rested her head against his chest. “Don’t push yourself. I just want to help.”

Before Dave could say anything else, he noticed someone approaching. He turned and saw Brady standing a few steps away. From the look on his face, Brady had overheard everything.

Still, he didn’t seem surprised. Brady had come to check Dave’s next move. To him, Dave silence was like someone with a plan hidden behind his sleeve.

Hard work had paid off. Brady had been watching Dave closely and finally figured out what he was up to.

“You really managed to raise five billion?” Brady asked, his tone careful as he looked at Dave for confirmation.

Bianca stayed quiet. She had no intention of answering him.

“Bianca raised five billion. I’ve secured another twenty billion,” Dave said calmly. “That gives us twenty-five billion. It should be enough to stop the stock from crashing tomorrow.”

Dave stared at Brady seriously.

“This is my secret move. Keep it a secret, Brady.”

Brady paused, clearly surprised Dave had raised that much. Forcing a smile, he said, “That’s good to hear. I’ve been worried. Tomorrow, I’ll try to gather some funds too. Twenty-five billion might not be enough to hold the stock.”

“Thanks,” Dave replied, then took Bianca’s hand and led her back toward the ward.

Bianca felt nervous. Was Dave really handing over his trump card? “Dave... are you sure he won’t—” she began, unsure.

“Don’t worry,” Dave said with a confident grin. “I’ve got it under control.”

What Brady didn’t realize was that Dave had already knew his plan. Still, Brady remained strangely sure of himself.

“Twenty-five billion. Dave, you’re impressive,” Brady muttered to himself. “A fool who doesn’t even know his enemy.”

Now, Brady had figured out Dave’s move. At first, he doubted if Dave was being honest. But realizing Dave had no clue he was the one shorting Phoenix Alliance Group, Brady saw no reason for him to lie.

“Tomorrow will be the end for Phoenix Alliance Group.”

****

The next morning, Brady could barely hide how eager he was to see Dave fall.

Suddenly, several big news stories shot to the top of the trending list. For a while, everyone was talking about it. The public started changing their opinion about all the bad news tied to Phoenix Alliance Group.

"Unbelievable! That former employee from Phoenix Alliance Group was actually a spy planted by a competing company. Their account got banned for faking documents, making false claims, and spreading lies."
