Chapter 453: Slander
Chapter 453: Slander
The two men stood firm and their presence was like an unmovable wall. Positioned by the door, they blocked Bianca’s path completely.
Bianca hesitated, then pulled out some cash and offered it with a friendly smile. "Please, can you do me this favor?"
The men glanced at the money but didn’t take it. Their expressions turned dismissive.
"Miss Scott, we’re just doing our jobs. If we let you through, we wouldn’t be doing our duty. Keep your money—we don’t need it."
Seeing there was no way past the guards, Bianca put the money away and searched for another solution.
She pulled out her phone and checked the livestream. Reporters had gathered, now questioning the people causing the scene.
One reporter asked, "What’s your relationship with Reese? Why are you accusing her?"
Reese’s aunt stepped forward, her head held high. "I’m Reese’s aunt," she declared. "She’s ungrateful! Her parents abandoned her when she was young. My husband and I raised her and paid for her education. But once she became famous, she turned her back on us. She even denied we were her family!"
Her voice grew sharper as she added. "Now my husband is sick. We asked for her help with his medical bills. Do you know what she said? She told us she didn’t recognize poor relatives. She told us never to contact her again because we would embarrass her and ruin her reputation!"
The reporter hesitated. "That’s hard to believe. Reese doesn’t seem like that kind of person. Could there be some misunderstanding?"
"You don’t understand," Reese’s uncle-in-law said in a trembling voice and his eyes filled with tears. "Reese is deceitful. Even as a child, she lied often. She stole money and chose her bad friends. We did everything to guide her, but she treated us with disrespect. She even attacked us physically!"
The reporters exchanged stunned glances. "What? Is that really true?"
Her uncle-in-law wiped his tears. "After she lost her parents, we felt sorry for her and forgave her mistakes over and over. But she never changed. She kept rebelling. When she became overweight, we sold our belongings to pay for her treatment. We spent everything we had on her."
He choked back a sob. "Now that she’s famous, we thought we could finally rest easy. We never wanted to trouble her. But then I got sick. We had nothing left. We had no choice but to ask for her help, and..."
His voice broke as he began to cry.
Immediately, more people stepped forward, adding to the accusations against Reese.
"I'm Reese's cousin! Everything my dad said is true!" one person shouted.
"I'm her aunt's neighbor! I can confirm it too," another added.
"And us! We're her relatives! We all know the truth!" a group chimed in.
The livestream turned into chaos.
Viewers flooded the comment section with outrage.
"Reese seems so sweet—I can’t believe she’s like this in real life!"
"Ungrateful! Isn’t she afraid of karma?"
"The face is the mirror of the soul! She used to be fat and ugly—how did she suddenly become slim and beautiful? She must have had plastic surgery!"
"I’m done supporting her! Emerald Artists Agency hypes up someone with no morals. We should boycott them forever!"
"Now I’m questioning everything. Are Reese and Blake even a real couple, or is it all fake to gain fame? They have no talent, but they sure know how to fool the public!"
"This is just a publicity stunt! Maybe even Blake is involved. What if his leg injury is fake too?"
The situation spiraled fast.
The backlash turned brutal, and now Blake was being dragged into the scandal.
Bianca watched as their reputations crumbled.
She clenched her fists and her nails dug into her palm. She had to stay calm. Now was not the time to lose control.

Orion Entertainment took things further by releasing behind-the-scenes footage of Shelly’s intense training.
The videos showed her dedication—early mornings, late nights, and endless hours in the practice room. She pushed herself to the limit. Tears filled her eyes at times, but she never gave up.
Some told her to quit, but she refused. She held back her frustration and kept going.
The professionally edited clips were both emotional and inspiring. Viewers couldn’t help but admire her strength. Many people started rooting for her despite the struggles.
Orion Entertainment’s caption carried a sharp tone:
"A true champion doesn’t rely on hype or fake popularity. Real stars know that hard work is the only way to prove their worth."
The message was clear—this was a direct attack on Bianca’s talents.
The internet exploded. Public opinion shifted almost instantly. The backlash against Bianca and Blake faded, replaced by overwhelming support for Shelly.
Orion Entertainment’s comment section is flooded with praise:
"Shelly’s the real deal!"
"I noticed Shelly during the competition. Her talent is just as good as Reese’s. How did she lose? Something doesn’t add up!"
Conspiracy theories spread like wildfire.
"Shelly completely outshines Reese! She’s not just a better actress—her singing voice is pure perfection! Reese doesn’t even compare. This whole thing is rigged!"
Then, one comment sent shockwaves through the thread.
"Speaking of rigging, I’ve got some juicy gossip..."
Instantly, curiosity exploded.
"Spill the tea!"
"We’re all ears! Don’t keep us waiting!"
"Check my profile in ten minutes. I’ve got solid proof that the show was rigged!"
At Orion Entertainment headquarters, Natalie watched the online buzz with a satisfied smile.
Across from her, Yosef Jones, the general manager, fidgeted nervously.
"Natalie, think this through," he warned. "If this ‘evidence’ gets out and leads back to us, the Evans Group won’t let us off. It’ll be the end for us."
Natalie scoffed. "And what’s the worst that could happen? It was a public event—how could they prove anything? Besides, aren’t you already working with the Lawson Group to sabotage the Evans Group? I know you want control of Orion Entertainment. This is your chance."
"But—"
Natalie leaned in, wrapping her arms around his neck. Her voice was soft, teasing.
"Come on, Yosef," she murmured. "You’re always so careful. When will you finally take what you want? Don’t forget the promises you made."
Yosef was completely under Natalie’s spell. She was everything he desired, and he had chased after her for ages.
No matter how hard he tried, she had always avoided him. It frustrated him to no end.
But lately, things have changed. Natalie was the one making the moves now. They had crossed every line—except the last. She made it clear that before that happened, she wanted company shares as proof of his commitment.
