Chapter 194
Chapter 194
When Debbie heard that, she did not feel good. Debbie suddenly said, "I didn't mean that!"
"Mom, that's exactly what you mean!" Jacob suddenly stopped and looked at his mother angrily.
When Debbie saw that, she was so angry that she almost couldn't breathe. Jacob had changed greatly recently.
She was afraid to see Jacob now.
"Jacob, how... How could you talk to me like this?" Debbie was so angry that she looked very somber.
"Mother, don't go too far!" After Jacob finished speaking, he wanted to turn around and look at Denise again, but because Debbie was there, he didn't turn around.
He walked to the garage.
Debbie followed him.
Along the way, they never said a word.
After the dishes were ready, Marilyn chatted while eating.
"Denise, eat the fish," Marilyn said as she picked up a piece of fish and put it in Denise's bowl.
"Lynn, thank you so much today," Denise said and smiled gently.
Malcolm did not know that Denise had lived at Marilyn's house.
Only Roland knew about it, and they did not mention it.
Malcolm spoke very little, and he had grown apart from Marilyn recently.
For Marilyn, they should keep their distance!
But to Malcolm, it made him suffer every day!
They sat at the table, but they only said a few words that night.
He wanted to be close to Marilyn!
Roland asked curiously, "Lynn, where did you go today? Where are Elvira and Mr. Greer?"
When Marilyn heard that, she smiled and said, "They have gone on their honeymoon. My mother has worked hard for so many years and finally married Mr. Greer."
"You are so proud!" Roland said and smiled.
Roland looked at Marilyn lovingly.
Malcolm glanced at Marilyn and was also interested in that.
He was very curious about why Marilyn would suddenly become Bradley's daughter, and who her mother was.
"However, Mr. Greer and Elvira are married. Why didn't they tell Arturo and me that they would go on a honeymoon?" Roland was quite dissatisfied. He had a good relationship with Bradley.
Marilyn smiled and said, "Roland, are you still afraid that you cannot send them the gift? Mom and Dad have got married, and they will hold the wedding after a while!
"Father has waited for Mother for many years, and Mother had finally promised to marry him. He was afraid that my mother would regret it, so he wanted to marry her quickly.
"He treats me as his daughter. I helped him, and then let Father take mother to go on their honeymoon!
"It's precious to them. They finally have a home!"
Marilyn was very happy when she thought that it would be livelier at home!
"Now you have a happy family!" Roland looked at her with a happy smile!
"Yes!" Marilyn replied, lowered her head, and ate.
Malcolm wanted to ask Marilyn some questions, but when he saw Marilyn smiling happily, he didn't ask.
Denise suddenly vomited.
When Marilyn saw that, she quickly put down her chopsticks.
"Denise, are you alright?" Denise looked at her and shook her head. She smelled something greasy and wanted to vomit.
After Marilyn saw that Denise was feeling better, she handed Denise the water.
"Thank you!" After Denise took a sip of water, she felt much better.
Marilyn smiled and asked, "Denise, what else do you want to eat?"
Denise looked at her and shook her head. "Lynn, I'm full. I'm tired today and want to rest early!"
"Then wait for me. I'll be done eating soon too."
Marilyn looked at Roland and Malcolm.
"Roland, Mr. Lowe, eat something! Don't just hold your chopsticks."
Roland nodded and didn't say anything.
Malcolm sat quietly and occasionally looked at Marilyn.
He did not expect to meet Marilyn here today.
Half an hour later, they left the restaurant.
Malcolm paid for the meal.
Roland did not want to owe Malcolm, but Malcolm got ahead of him.
Roland said with a smile, "Lynn, shall I take you home?"
Marilyn shook her head and said, "No, Roland. Have a rest on the weekend. Go back and rest early. I'll drive home by myself!"
Roland nodded in disappointment and said, "Lynn, be careful!"
"Okay!" Marilyn said and looked at Malcolm, who looked calm. She said with a smile, "Mr. Lowe, see you tomorrow!"
Malcolm was excited and looked at her gently.
"Lynn, see you tomorrow!" Malcolm said in a deep voice.
"Roland, goodbye!" Marilyn said goodbye to them and left with Denise.
Malcolm and Roland didn't look away until Marilyn disappeared.
Roland looked at Malcolm gloomily.
"Mr. Lowe, we haven't finished yet."
Malcolm turned to look at him and said coldly, "Roland, we have nothing to say!"
Roland glared at him and said, "Malcolm, did you know? Lynn almost died seven years ago. She wanted to die. We did a lot to save her. I don't want anyone to hurt her. Please let her go!"
Malcolm felt sad at that moment and couldn't stop crying. He quickly lowered his head and said seriously, "Roland, you don't understand me. To repeat, I won't hurt her!"
After that, he did not look at Roland. He turned around and left.
The moment he turned around, his eyes turned red and he took a deep breath.
"Malcolm, did you know that seven years ago, Lynn almost died." He remembered that. He had heard the conversation between Lynn and Denise, and Lynn had a car accident.
Why was it so unfair?
But there were too many unfair things.
Roland looked at Malcolm's back and suddenly felt that he was very lonely. He sighed slightly. It was not easy for Malcolm.
