Chapter 190
Chapter 190
The next day was Sunday. Marilyn woke up naturally.
It was almost nine o'clock.
She got up and washed up. She was not going to jog this morning. She planned to know Natasha better, and then finish her topic.
After washing up, she turned on the computer, opened the browser, and found Natasha's information.
She carefully browsed through every piece of information!
"Mom!" Laverne shouted outside.
Marilyn looked back and smiled gently.
She got up and opened the door. The morning sunlight shone through the gaps between the thick curtains and scattered on the ground!
Marilyn opened the door and saw Laverne carrying a small tilted bag. She frowned and asked, "Laverne, are you going out?"
"Yes?" Laverne smiled and nodded. "Mom, give me some money. Dominic and I are going to the library today. Staying at home is too boring."
Marilyn was kind of worried, "Why not watch TV at home?"
"Mom, didn't you say that watching TV is not good for the eyes? Besides, I'm not interested in TV. Dominic likes to read books, and I like the atmosphere in the bookstore. I want to read books on painting." Laverne looked determined to go.
Marilyn couldn't do anything. So, she took some change from her bag and gave it to Laverne. "Here, Laverne, the money for the meal and the money for the book. Be careful on the road!"
"Thank you, Mom! Mom, don't worry. Dominic and I are very smart. We won't be kidnapped."
Moreover, there was a bus stop at the entrance. It was convenient.
Laverne waved at Marilyn and ran downstairs. Marilyn smiled seeing Laverne so happy.
Marilyn resumed working.
She didn't stop until Denise texted her at around eleven o'clock, asking her to eat.
After one morning, her design had already taken shape!
Amber looked at it with satisfaction and went downstairs for lunch.
Dominic and Laverne were not at home. Only Marilyn and Denise were at the table.
Marilyn smiled. "Denise, the soup is good. You are pregnant now, have more!"
"Alright!" Denise smiled and nodded, asking her, "Lynn, are you free later?"
"Do you want to go out?" Marilyn asked.
"Yes! I saw a shop on the Internet. It's very suitable to be a barbecue. I want to take a look!"
Marilyn smiled and said, "Alright, I'll go with you later. Mr. Greer's car is here, and he gave me the key. I'll drive you there. We don't have to use the subway."
"Okay!" Denise smiled at Amber gratefully. She had to prepare everything before the baby was born. Otherwise, life would be difficult!
After lunch, they set off.
The traffic was heavy. The city was prosperous.
Marilyn turned on the navigation.
The destination was not far. It was just behind their living area, about five bus stops away.
Driving was a bit faster!
Marilyn parked the car. They came down to look around. The buildings in this area all looked very luxurious and commercial.
Marilyn smiled. "Denise, would anyone come here for a barbecue?"
Denise was experienced. She looked at the surroundings and said, "Lynn, sure. We'll be opening in the evening. There is a night market here. This place is very prosperous and many people are living here. I am afraid the rent will be very expensive!"
Marilyn also thought of this too. "Let's go take a look first!"
"Alright!" Denise nodded. She clicked on the GPS on her phone and the two of them walked towards their destination together!
Marilyn's phone suddenly rang. She took it out and answered the call with a smile.
"Hey! Dad, are you guys having fun? Have you eaten?"
Bradley felt very happy hearing Lynn call him dad. "Lynn, your mother and I have had lunch. Now we are going to the beach. Your mother was worried about you, so I called to ask you what you are doing now."
"Oh! Dad, I'm already the mother of the three children. I'm not a child. Don't worry about me. Denise and I are now looking for a shop on the Lakeside Road."
"Why are you looking for a shop?" Bradley asked curiously.
"Dad, Denise wants to open a barbecue restaurant. There is an available shop at the night market here, so we came over to take a look."
"Oh, the shops over there have a high commercial value, and the rent is especially expensive!"
Marilyn said, "Dad, let's take a look first. If it is too expensive, we'll go somewhere else."
"Little girl, have you forgotten who I am again? Riverside Road is my property too. Just let me know which shop Denise has taken a fancy to." Bradley's tone was somewhat reproachful.
Marilyn smiled. Yes, Bradley was not an ordinary person.
Even the Lakeside District was his property, it was unbelievable!
"Okay, Dad, but we don't want to disturb your honeymoon with Mom." Marilyn teased with a smile.
"Well! As a father, I should care about my daughter's wish." Bradley said in a doting tone.
Marilyn was touched by this sincere tone. That gentle smile came from the bottom of her heart, so gentle, and dazzling.
"Okay, Dad, I will send it to you later."
Marilyn said a few more words before hanging up.
Marilyn said, "Denise, give me the location of the shop and I will send it to Dad. He said that this area is his, so we don't have to come out every day looking for shops."
"Wouldn't it bother Mr. Greer too much?" Denise smiled as she sent the address to Marilyn.
Marilyn smiled and said, "Denise, for Dad, this is nothing, but for us, it is everything. You are pregnant now. You shouldn't let yourself be tired. If Dad can help, things would be so much easier!"
Marilyn said, sending the address to Bradley.
In less than ten seconds, Bradley called, "Lynn, this position is good. Its former owner could not pay the rent, so the shop is empty now. It's a perfect choice for Denise.
"Go there directly. I will call my assistant and ask him to go there. Tell Denise that since she is your friend. I will waive her rent for half a year. The rent is 37,000 dollars a year.
"Wow! Dad, can I get one too?" Marilyn asked excitedly.
"Silly girl, you are now my daughter. My everything is yours. Tell me, which shop do you want?"
