Destined by One Night: The CEO's Pursuit

Chapter 180

Chapter 180

Bradley was happy when eating last night, so Elvira decided to cook for him today.

At noon, Bradley, who was always punctual, arrived at Marilyn's home on time.

There was a truck from the furniture company parked in front of the house.

Marilyn opened the door and went out.

"Mr. Greer, you are here."

"Lynn, ask Dominic and Laverne to come out first. They'll move out the old furniture and then move in the new ones. The new furniture is all processed in advance and can be used at any time." Bradley laughed.

Marilyn was grateful. "Okay! Mr. Greer, thank you!" Marilyn beckoned her son and daughter to come out and asked them to play in the yard.

Dominic and Laverne obediently ran out and went to the side to have fun.

Marilyn made a way for the workers.

They had just moved in, and much of the furniture had not been used, and there was nothing inside. Changing the furniture now would not be troublesome.

"Mr. Greer, I was just joking last night. But you have taken it seriously."

Bradley smiled happily, "Lynn, whether you are joking or not, I will give the furniture to you sooner or later. Didn't I tell you that I am rich? Don't save the money for me."

Marilyn was amused by his words. She smiled and asked, "Mr. Greer, how can you flaunt your wealth like this?"

"Why not? What I said is the truth!"

"That's right. You are a real estate tycoon," Marilyn said with a smile.

She thought, "Mr. Greer is such a rich and kind person. How can Mom make him wait for her for so many years?"

Marilyn suddenly asked in a mysterious tone, "Mr. Greer, have you and my mother met again? My mother didn't put any pepper in the fish she made last night. It was specially prepared for you. You and she..." Marilyn wanted to say something but stopped. She gestured in front of Bradley with her two fingers.

Bradley smiled and looked at her mysteriously, "Little girl, it's not easy for me in this life. I've waited for your mother to marry me for so long and I am old.

Your mother gives me a little chance now, so I need to take the opportunity to please her. I'll use my sincerity to move her."

Marilyn kept nodding. "Mr. Greer, I am on your side. If my mother agrees to marry you, I'll also agree with both hands raised."

"Really?" Bradley narrowed his eyes.

"Yes! Mr. Greer, it's real." Marilyn nodded heavily.

"I'll be very happy about my mother's happiness."

"Girl, I like your kindness and filial piety." Bradley was overjoyed.

Suddenly, he saw a black car driving toward him. He narrowed his eyes and said, "Lynn, someone is coming!"

Marilyn saw that it was Julian's car. She smiled.

"Mr. Greer, it's Mr. Munoz from my company. I'll go over and take a look."

"I'll go with you. It just so happens that I know him too. Let's go over and greet him."

"Alright!" Marilyn nodded. They walked toward Julian's car.

Julian drove personally to deliver the gift.

If he didn't come personally, Malcolm would never be at ease.

Therefore, even on the weekend, Julian resigned himself to his fate and worked hard.

The truck blocked the way, and he could only park the car behind the truck.

He saw Marilyn walking over from afar.

When he saw Bradley, he frowned and thought, "Why is Mr. Greer also her?"

In the business world, few people could see Bradley all year round, but he was quite familiar with Marilyn.

Julian opened the door and got out of the car. He looked at Marilyn and Bradley and smiled.

"Lynn. Mr. Greer," He greeted first.

"Mr. Munoz, long time no see!" Bradley said, smiling.

Julian said, "Mr. Greer, it's been a long time indeed since we last met."

During the last banquet, Julian had not greeted Bradley.

"Mr. Greer, it seems that you are quite familiar with Lynn," Julian said and glanced at Marilyn.

Bradley looked at Marilyn warmly and smiled. "We've known each other for seven years. She's just like my daughter. If I have nothing to do, I'll come to her house to have a meal."

A daughter?

Julian felt that it was a little hard to digest the information.

He stood there in a daze.

Marilyn also looked at Bradley in shock.

But after thinking about it, she felt that it made sense. Bradley was rich, but he did not marry or have children. He was a mysterious legend in upper-class society.

Nobody knew why he didn't marry.

They only knew that he was very rich.

In front of the media, Bradley did not talk about the matter. Some of the brave reporters asked questions during the interview.

But he was able to avoid it easily.

If the people in the business world knew that Marilyn was Bradley's daughter, then the stock price of the Lowe Group would rise sharply.

Julian suddenly felt that Marilyn was Malcolm's good luck.

With a big shot like Bradley, the future of the Lowe Group would be prosperous!

Julian thought happily in his heart.

He looked at Marilyn with a smile as if he was looking at a cash cow.

And he was even looking forward to the arrival of the Lowe Group's peak.

"Lynn, Mr. Lowe and I have prepared some gifts for you. Let me send them to your house."

Bradley smiled politely. "Mr. Munoz, there is no need to trouble you. Take them down first. Later, I will let the workers move them in."

Julian glanced at the busy scene in front of Marilyn's house. Sure enough, he had no way to get in.

"Alright." As Julian spoke, he opened the trunk of the car and moved the things down.

Marilyn saw two trees, as well as some small plants, murals, water bamboo, and all sorts of small things.

There were also children's toys and dolls. Marilyn looked at them in disbelief. She thought, "Julian is even more like a father than her children's biological father!

How did he stuff so many things in his car?"

Although those things were not valuable, they earned Marilyn's heart.

She needed those plants to decorate the yard and the balcony on the half-floor.

"Mr. Munoz, and also Mr. Lowe, thank you!" Marilyn smiled.

Julian glanced at all kinds of items on the ground and then looked at the furniture that Bradley had sent over. The things he sent were nothing!

However, those things were all carefully selected by Malcolm and were his kind intentions.

Fortunately, Marilyn looked happy, and Julian was relieved.

"Lynn, then I will go back first."

"Mr. Munoz, stay for lunch," Marilyn said.

"No, I still have something to do. I'll come again in the future."

Julian wanted to stay for a meal and ask around about Jeannie. Last night, he sent the last message and it was like a stone sinking into the sea. Today, she did not reply to the message.
