" So, how old are you?" It was Tommy who asked. He doesn't talk a lot.

" I'm two hundred and ten," I said. They gasped, and all turned their gazes to Aerys.

" YOU LEECH," she shouted. Following her were two girls and two men. They looked at me with disdain and disgust. Everyone stopped eating and turned to her.

" What are you still doing here?" she demanded. I rolled my eyes and crossed my hands against my chest.

" Liace, you're speaking to your luna," Alec growled, his eyes flashing.

" Beta, she's not our Luna. How can you even be okay with this?" another girl asked, bewildered.

" You are a bloodsucker and not fit to be Luna! You have to leave our territory!" Liace and her little team seemed so childish. How could I even argue?

" Did you forget the beating I gave you last time?" I reminded her.

" We don't want a sucker for a luna!"

" Go away, bitch," Tonga sighed in exhaustion, making Liace growl at her.

" This is absurd; please don't let her trick you," Liace begged, her eyes turning to everyone. Everyone remained quiet, looking at her dumbfounded. Liace was desperate. She had it in her head for too long that he might choose her. I can imagine how hard it must have been.

" I know it's hard to accept, but I have no ill will against your pack. I love Aerys," I told her gently. She shook her head, laughing hysterically.

" No, you can't. He should be mine, not yours!" she shouted and lunged at me. Before I could defend myself from the attack, Aerys jumped in front of me and grabbed her by the neck. He pressed her back against the wall. My mate was shaking with anger, and his eyes were deadly. Liace was unsuccessful in trying to get free.

" If you ever in your life try to attack my mate again, I'll kill you," his words sent shivers.

The aura he was releasing made everyone submit to him. It crippled them except me, " I will say this one. Elizabeth is my mate, and Luna. If you have a problem, leave this pack because I won't tolerate disrespect towards her."

He threw her against the wall, and she landed on the ground. Her friends were shaking in fear.

" Now, leave, and don't come here again," I stood beside my mate, and he wrapped an arm around my waist.

I watched in horror as they all rushed for the door. One of the guys came back and carried Liace, bowing his head towards us.

Aerys calmed down, " We need to go to the pack," he informed me.

Two hours later, I was standing in front of the Chasia manor. I was so nervous. This was nothing compared to when I came here the first time. Aerys held my hand and gave me an encouraging smile. I noted people were hiding in the flowers, taking pictures of us. We walked towards the entrance. Everyone was in the large living area. Their sober expressions convey the seriousness of the matter.

I bowed my head respectfully to them, and Aerys led me to sit on the sofa, and he sat close to me. His hand was resting on my back. Everyone was looking at me. I met their gaze, but I was so guilty.

" So, you're a vampire," the former Luna is the one who started. I nodded my head.

" I didn't mean to lie to all of you. I was just scared of being rejected," I confessed.

" How long were you going to keep this going?" Marcus asked. He didn't look pleased at all. His wife, Selena, rubbed his back. Her stomach was now bigger than it was the last time.

" I was going to tell him on our trip, but the attack at the border happened, and I revealed my identity," I said.

" I knew you felt something off when I met you. I just couldn't put a finger on it. I told you, babe, remember?" Selena said triumphantly. Marcus nodded and kissed her temple.

" Is everyone forgetting that she revealed her identity to save our people?" Pauline said with a smile. Marcus glared at him, and she shrunk beside her husband.

" Don't glare at my wife," Jamal hissed. Marcos and Elaine shared a satisfied glance, smirks playing on their lips like this happened often. I see there was some family drama going on.

" What, you two? You enjoy drama, don't you?" Riley said, annoyed. Garret, too, didn't look impressed with the smirking couple.

" Please don't tell me you're still upset about that little brawl at the bar," Marcos chuckled, holding his wife tighter.

"An altercation that shouldn't have happened had you not opened your big mouth. Just stay out of people's business!" Garret hissed.

" We are getting fucking out of the topic here! So childish!" boomed Alpha Edward. Everyone flinched. This was the first time I'd seen him lose his cool.

" Can everyone put their petty grievances aside for now? You're upsetting my man," Caliana said.

" Eww, Mom," Athena and Aerys grimace, making their mom huff and dramatically look away. I loved this family.

" So, to the matter at hand. You lied to my son and my family," Alpha Edward's eyes were deadly, glaring at me. I squirm in my seat uncomfortably.

" Dad," a growl left my mate's chest.

" Edward," Caliana called in warning. The man smiled at his wife and took a breath.

" I love Elizabeth, whether she is a vampire or human. I'd love her in any way, and if you are not okay with her being by my side, I'll have to step back," Aerys said gently. His father looked startled, everyone including me.

" What do you mean by that, Nephew?" Jamal asked.

" I mean to step back from this family and my position as alpha," he announced.
