Bonus Chapter 10
Bonus Chapter 10
" Luna Caliana, it's wonderful to meet you," I said.
" Call me Caliana, please," she said, " This is my husband, Eward Chasia."
Alpha Edward Chasia's aura was the most powerful of them. He was intimidating but courteous. He shook my hand.
" Hello, welcome to the family, Elizabeth," he said in a deep voice.
"Thank you, sir," I was so shy.
Aerys introduced his four uncles, Jamal, Marcus, Marcos, and Garrett. They welcomed me into their home well and then introduced their wives. The first one to greet me cheerfully was Jamal's wife, Pauline. Elaine and Riley followed to welcome me. I felt an intense gaze on me, and I turned. Another lovely pregnant woman had just entered the room. It must have been Marcus' wife, Selene.
My eyes locked with her, and immediately, I knew she was different. She wasn't a shifter like the rest of them. Her energy was tranquil and different. Her scent was more earthy, and her eyes held knowledge.
Selene's eyes were scrutinizing me. I held her gaze with a polite smile on my face.
" You must be Elizabeth. My nephew didn't do you justice when he bragged about your beauty. You're beautiful indeed," she said softly. Beautiful? She was fucking beautiful! They all were.
" Thank you, you too."
I interacted with everyone. Aerys didn't leave my side even for a moment.
Ten minutes later, it was time for dinner. We went to the large dining room. Aerys pulled out a chair so I could sit next to me. The servants standing in the room's corners uncovered the platters lined on the table. There was so much food. Steak, mashed potatoes, roasted chicken. It was an all-you-can-eat buffet here. As everyone started serving themselves, Aerys piled so much food on my plate. I had to hold his hand to stop him. I certainly didn't eat so much, but everyone else did. Shifters ate more than anyone.
" So, Elizabeth, where is your family?" Selena asked. She was sitting across from me. I swallowed before answering.
" Central Europe," I said quickly. I stayed in Central Europe for decades after I left home. It was my home. However, my family and clan were in the west, hours away, hidden in grand castles.
" Why are you far from home?" Pauline frowned,
" Well, I left home when I turned eighteen. I just wanted to live my life. My family trusts me, and we are always in touch," I said. They seemed to be satisfied with that.
" I heard you run a successful shipping company. How did you do that at a young age?" Jamal asked. He was the friendliest of the men. However, I knew that was just a facade. Jamal could be the devil when needed. He was a Chasia, after all.
" Well, I graduated early, and my father founded the company," I answered.
The rest of the dinner was pleasant. Everyone was friendly to me. After dinner, Aerys showed me the grounds.
" I didn't see your siblings and cousins," I said as we stopped in the garden. It was his mother's favorite place in the whole manor.
" It was an all-adult dinner. You will see them next time."
He leaned against a tree and pulled me in his arms.
" You have a lovely home and a wonderful family," I told him.
" Thank you,"
Aerys tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. His hooded eyes lingered on my lips as our breath mingled. I licked my lips, and he crashed his lips on me. The kiss was needy and greedier. He wanted more. I wanted more. His hands roamed on my skin, making a pleasing burning sensation erupt. A soft, blissful moan escaped my lips as he trailed kisses along my jawline. He suddenly carried me in his arms. My legs were wrapped around his waist. His one hand roamed on my chest area, squeezing my breasts. I felt sparks against my skin when he touched me. My core was throbbing as his dick poked my stomach. It had been two weeks since we found each other, yet we hadn't mated despite our palpable sensual tension. I knew that alpha self-control wasn't strong, but Aerys was patient, waiting for me to be ready. My fingers curled in his hair, playing with his hair. His lips went to my collarbone, lavising me. I was grinding my hips against him.
" Argh, get a room, dummy," a voice sneered. Aerys grunted and detached his lips from my neck. He looked past my shoulders, and I followed his gaze. Standing a few feet from us was a gorgeous girl with chestnut lustrous hair and hazel eyes. She had soft features similar to those of Luna.
" Athena," he sighed.
" Put me down," I whispered. He obliged reluctantly. He mentioned he had a seventeen-year-old sister. Athena looked a little disoriented; she was drunk.
" Did you sneak out again? Dad won't like it," Aerys said, giving his sister a disapproving look.
" I don't care what he likes after what he did to my boyfriend," she said, venom spilling from her words.
" That guy -"
" Shut up, Idiot," she interrupted him with a growl. Her gaze roamed at me, and she smiled slightly; she had a lovely smile; it reminded me of Aerys'.
" You are not Elizabeth, are you? Because you're too pretty to be my idiot brother's mate," she said to me in a warm-mannered way. I smiled at her.
" Hi, Athena. I'm Elizabeth. This idiot is my mate."
She gave me a full-blown smile, and my heart warmed.
" Did you hear that, dummy? She agrees you're an idiot," she jested to her brother. Aerys frowned. He looked so cute. I went to kiss his lips, and he beamed again.
" I like them dumb," I said.
" Don't we all? " she smirked. Athena looked bleak for a moment before she exhaled sharply. She opened her arms towards her brother, and Aerys hugged her tightly.
" I missed you, dummy."
" I'm twenty minutes away, dumber," he said. I couldn't help but smile at their interaction. Tears filled my eyes, and I realized how much I missed my brothers. Athena staggered a little, and he held her.
" Dad?"
" In the lounge with everyone, use the backdoor,"
" He will know. He always knows," she whispered. Her eyes went up to the third floor. She smiled widely while Aerys shook his head.
" No. I won't go through the window,"
" Please, If you help me, I won't tell Elizabeth why I call you dummy."
I was now curious to hear the story behind the nickname. However, Aerys grabbed her hand quickly and took her to another part of the house before I could even blink! I stood dumbfounded but happy for some reason. He was back three minutes later.
" She's safely in her room," he informed me. I smiled and held both his hands.
" Good, now why does she call you dummy? I'm curious to know," I told him. All the color drained from his face. His expression was so priceless that I doubled over in laughter.
" Is it that bad?"
"Let's just say I loved to experiment as a kid,"
" Tell me, tell me,"
" No," he said.
" It's alright. I have forever to find out," I said.
" Forever," he repeated silently. Was I thinking ahead? I bit my lower lip. I shouldn't have said that. " I like it... Forever," he smiled and kissed my forehead.
We went back inside.
" Please tell me you're spending the night here," Luna Caliana said, pouting slightly toward her son. Aerys glanced at me, and I nodded.
" Fine,"
" Yes!" she cheered. Her husband was looking at her with so much affection.
The Chasias seem intimidating initially, but they aren't when you interact with them. They were not hostile at all. I conversed with everyone that evening, relishing the joyful atmosphere.
We were the first ones to call it a night. Aerys took me to his bedroom. It overlooked the vast forest. It smelled just like him.
I felt hands around my waist, and my stomach swarmed with butterflies.
" A bathe?" he murmured in my ear. His breath sent a delightful chill down my spine. I nodded with a smile. A bath sounded like a perfect idea.
It was the first time we'd shared a room, and I was nervous. He went away to the bathroom. I inspected his room. It was huge with minimal decor. Tall windows allowed the moon's light. White marble floors matched the sofa. There was a huge bed. There was a TV mounted on the wall. An ensuite bathroom and closet were next to each other.
"The bath is ready. I'll make a phone call and then check on Athena," he told me. He opened his mouth to speak, but I rushed past him. What the fuck was wrong with me? I needed to calm down.
