His Mate, His Girlfriend

Chapter 133. Evil Witch

Chapter 133. Evil Witch

Love

I heard distant voices in my mind. My eyes were heavy, so heavy. I had a headache. I felt dizzy and weak. I grunted in pain. My body was in so much physical pain. My eyes flickered open when I felt a tug in my hair. The first thing I saw was a woman with red hair. She was lovely with high cheekbones and brown eyes. She had thin lips. She didn't smell like a shifter. She was a dark witch!

She was sitting on the edge of the bed, watching me like a freak. I tried to speak, but I couldn't. There was duct tape over my mouth. My head turned to examine the room I was in. It was a shabby shack with a rudimentary design. It looked like an old garage with a lot of equipment in it. Just by the entrance was a vast brown rogue. One of its ears was cut, and it had a long scar across its face. It was glaring at me.

My mind was still disoriented at that point. However, the memories came rushing down on me: the accident, my daughter, my Lara.

Tears filled my eyes at the thought of something happening to her. Was she alright? The crash was horrible. The car overturned over and over again. It broke in half, and the back part fell into the river. I managed to get out. I was about to dive in when the wolf caught me. He threw me against the ground, and I hit my head. Everything went dark.

My baby was in the back of the car, in the water!

" I'll remove the duct tape, but don't scream," she said softly. She gripped one end of the tape and ripped it off. I yelped at the stinging sensations around my lips.

" My daughter, where is she?" I growled.

She looked over at the rogue and frowned.

" I asked him to get her out, but someone did that to him. He's lucky he got away with his life," she shrugged. The air left my lungs, and my chest constricted. They left my baby in the water. What if no one found her? I was crying. There was rage coursing through me. I wanted to rip this bitch apart. If my hands were not tied together, she'd be dead.

The woman watched me,

" I'll kill you for what you did," I promised.

" No. You won't. Maybe on another day you can, but not today or tomorrow," she smiled. Her smile was sick and evil. What did she mean by that? I was in thought. She continued,

" I trapped your lycan in the beyond. In the bad part, she's fighting spirits that won't let her leave. So, she's not coming," she whispered the last part. Her face was satisfied. A terrible feeling washed over me. Vee was trapped in the beyond. I should have known she would never leave me willingly.

" You psycho! " I tried to lunge at her but didn't get far as my hands and legs were tied. Anger poured inside me.

" What do you want? Are you my stalker?!"

Her lips formed a thin line.

" Stalker. He stalks you. That bastard." she scowled. Her fist balled up as though she wanted to punch me.

" He likes you," she murmured, pain briefly crossing her features. She shrugged.

" Oh well, it's good, you're going to die then," she said so casually. I felt fear come over me. Not for my life. I feared I wouldn't see my children, Ellis, and family. They would be mad with grief. I couldn't let this crazy psycho kill me.

" Why? I don't even know you."

" I know you. I don't like you."

" You kill people simply because you don't like them?"

" When they stand in my way, yes," she answered.

" How do I stand in your way?"

" Maleck, he grew fond of you. He wants you."

I was stunned. Maleck? Ellis' cousin. Of course, that bastard. He was my stalker this whole time! He wanted me to hurt Ellis.

" Did he send you to get me?"

She scoffed, " No, he doesn't know I've got you. He wanted to wait for the right time,"

" So what is the plan?" I glared at her.

The dark witch didn't seem to know what to do with me. She knew she wanted to kill me, but she hadn't worked out the details yet. She turned her back. The room was silent. I used this chance to connect with Vee. If there was a time I needed her, it was today.

The witch suddenly left the room, " Stay with her!"

The two rogues glared at me as though I had angered them. They both shifted back to their human form. One without any scars approached me. He looked young, but there was a sick glint in his eyes.

" We should have some fun with her. She's sexy and an alpha. I've never been with an alpha female before," he gripped my hair so tightly that I winced.

" The boss will kill the mistress after he learns she's here. Is it worth it?" the other one asked nonchalantly. So, she was telling the truth. Maleck didn't know she had me. The man holding my hair tugged it tighter.

" Let go of me, you disgusting rogue!"

I cried out when he slapped me across the face, causing me to fall to the ground.

" Shut up!" he screamed. " You Lycans think you're so high and mighty. I have a score to settle with you for capturing my brother, so don't make me kill you before my mistress."

My eyes were still closed. He walked over, eyes on fire, and gripped my throat, placing me back on the bed.

' Vee, I need you,'

The rogue growled and walked away, but the scary guy with scars remained. He was missing an ear, and the scar across his face was deep and red, but he wasn't bleeding. His torso had fresh cuts, too. He wasn't healing, so it must have been silver laced in Wolfsbane. I wondered who did that to him.

I felt powerless and horrible being in the position I was in. What made it worse was that I didn't know how my baby was. I said a silent prayer, and tears rolled down my face.

I had cried myself to sleep. My eyes snapped open. My left eye was burning and heavy. I couldn't see correctly but could tell it was night now.

I sat upright. My eyes met the scarred rogue. We held each other's gazes a moment before he spoke,

" She didn't drown."

My eyes blinked. His voice was soft.

" L- my daughter," my throat was dry and hoarse.

" Hmm. I saw the man who did this to me jump in the water,"

I felt relief throughout myself. I breathed in and out. I was holding a sob. However, it didn't guarantee she was okay. I was relieved that someone got her out of the water.

I wondered why he was so considerate as to tell me this, but I didn't utter another word.

The door opened, and the dark witch and the other rogue who had hit me entered.

She looked frantic, glaring at me,

" What happened to her face? Her eye is swollen," she grimaced.

" She insulted me, and I lost my temper."

The witch only rolled her eyes.

" Untie her," she ordered. I stared at her, confused. Was she letting me go? The gruff rogue did as he was commanded to.

I watched horror as the witch pulled a dagger from her dress and walked towards me.

" Well, dear, it wasn't fun having you here. It's time to die," she sang. This woman was pure evil.

Something in me flipped. There was adrenaline rushing through my body to think. I headbutted the rogue holding me from behind and kicked the witch with my leg. I turned to the scarred rogue and shoved him into the small closet. Things that were there fell on him. I charged at the evil bitch again before she could lift her hand to cast a spell. I pushed her against the hard ground and broke both her wrists, stomping on her right hand. She screamed in pain. Let's see you do magic now, bitch! I hit her with the closest chair there was. As the other rogue charged at me, I swung the chair with all my strength and hit him with it,

" You fucking bitch!" he roared.

I jumped on him before he could shift. He was terrified. I landed two punches on his face and leaped for the open door.

" Get her!" I heard the dark witch scream.

I locked the shack. That will hold for a minute. I scanned my surroundings. We were in the forest, yet I could hear the distant sound of chatter and music. There were people about a mile from here.

I started to run in the direction of the sound. As I did, the pain I felt was back as the adrenaline washed off.

I ignored every pain I felt in my body and pushed my legs harder. A white mansion comes into view. Unfortunately, I was tackled to the ground before I could reach it.

" You're dead, alpha bitch!"
