"Stop the car" Dominic suddenly ordered and Enzo stopped the car immediately.

"What's wrong boss?" Enzo asked.

Dominic couldn't help but feel strange about something but then, his phone beeped and Chantel's message come in.

*HEY DEMON, THANKS FOR THE LUNCH*

Is he just overeating, but what about the person he saw earlier.

"Go back to the restaurant" he demanded.

The car drove back to the restaurant and he spot the lady he saw trying to call someone.

Enzo scoffed seeing her too.

"Rana?" Dominic called.

Rana who heard her name turn back to face him. Her facial expression made him frown.

"Where's Chantel?" She asked immediately.

"She just head home, what happened?" Dominic asked getting a bad feeling about this.

"I think she's in trouble.."

Just those few words are enough to make Dominic aura changed. He head towards his car then drive off instantly with Enzo.

She took her phone again and continue calling Chantel's number.

Back where Chantel was....

He turn his slowly turn his head to Chantel. There was a gun on his right hand.

Chantel saw this and turn to run but two gunshots sounded...

She halt then shut her eyes tightly.

"Don't you move" Came a cold warning from the guy. He had actually shot the air twice.

Chantel slowly open her eyes hearing the guy's footsteps coming closer to her. She knows what his next move will be.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"Just stay where you are if you still love yourself" He warned still stepping close.

Sensing he was close enough, Chantel turn to stop the guy from stabbing her with the sedative. She grab his arm before kicking him hard on the stomach.

Her move was fast..

Grabbing him by the hair, she hit his head several time on the car window. The guy bleed from his nose and his forehead too. She kick him on the face using her heels before grabbing the gun from the floor.

Exhaling deeply she raised the gun then point it towards his face.

"Remove the mask" she demanded.

The guy shivered on his spot. Who woukd have thought a lady like her would know all those moves?

He slowly lift his hand to remove ithe mask.

Chantel finally get to see his strange face. He look like a street gangster sent to abduct her.

She had been in this situation several times from those people determined to bring her down two years ago.

"Who sent you?" She asked.

A car drove fast into the area and Dominic rushed down instantly but the scene made him halt. He thought she would be the one in trouble but it was the other way round.

"Demon?" She muttered surprised to see him.

The guy used the opportunity to get up and run passing a sharp corner.

"Shit" Chantel cursed.

Enzo ran after him instantly.

Dominic walked close to Chantel to check her body. "Are you okay?, That bastard didn't hurt you right?" He asked.

"Not at all, I'm fine Dom. How do you know I was here?" She asked surprised to see him.

Dominic told her how he saw Rana getting restless then decided to go and ask her.

Enzo appeared breathing hard "he got away".

"Slow wit" Dominic muttered.

"He'll come back for me for sure, then we won't let him slip away" She said.

"Aren't you scared?" Dominic asked. He was so surprised about Chantel taking care of that guy without his help.

"Why should I? This not the first time. Beside, the person who sent him only wants to abduct me and not kill me.."

"Yeah, and that's still dangerous" Dominic cut in.

"I'm fine, stop over reacting" She scoffed before entering her car.

Dominic sighed. "Take care of the driver, I'll take her home" he said to Enzo before entering the driver seat.

While driving, Chantel was awfully quiet. He cleared his throat breaking the silence.

"I never thought you knew how to fight" He tried starting a conversation.

"I learned it from a friend in China" she replied in short.

"I'm glad you're alright" he said. She looked at him and finally gave him a smile.

Dominic who was flipping over some documents paused and checked who really called. Did she just called him hubby?

"Uhm.. what did you eat today?" Dominic asked having a small smile in his face.

"Why are you asking when we both had breakfast this morning" Chantel raised her brow.

"You didn't call me demon so I was just wondering if you ate something else" He said.

That was when Chantel realized she had use the word 'Hubby' for him. How the hell did that word slip out of her mouth?

Hearing no reply from her Dominic could imagine how paled her face would look right now.

"The picture online is quite cute Wife, should we make it bigger, frame it and hang it one side of the living room?" He asked.

Chantel laughed lightly at his word. "I was actually thinking the same, I'd love to see it everyday demon"

Dominic face dropped hearing her call him Demon again. "Can you call me hubby again?" He asked.

"No!" She said quickly before cutting the call. Her smile broaden afterward.

Dominic grin looking at his phone. His face turn serious as he finally looked up at Enzo who was busy waiting for him during the call with his wife.

"Your update better be good" Dominic said.

"I've found the guy who tried to hurt ma'am. He is in the black room" Enzo informed. The black room is the place Dominic show out the devil side of him.

"Good, let's head there" He said standing to his feet. Of course he doesn't want the same incident to happen again. What if the guy had shot Chantel instead of the air?

The guy is doom, same with the person who ordered him!

"I can't believe it Miss, I'm so glad the Galaxy Show called you! I'm so happy for you!" Phoebe squealed like a little kid.

Just some minutes ago, Yulia received a call that she is now a candidate to the Galaxy show. It seems the old man really cared about his image but then, why does he like fucking around?

"Hm, those words feels strange though" she said taking her sit. "You called"

"People have been asking for explaination about the scandal and they are criticising the company too. They say we raised artists who cheats on their partner. I think you should give the public a good explanation or just stay hidden for the news to suppress" Marcus said smirking inwardly.

"I thought I am here for a good reason, why am I to explain myself? Are you also calling me a cheat?"

"The the picture is clear and vivid. I know this is going to affect you but you still have to apologize for your wrong doing or stay low" Marcus said.

"By the way, I'm delighted to inform that Yulia had been chosen for the Galaxy show. The company is going to hold a celebration tonight for the artist chosen here. Mr Shane, the owner will be appearing there to congratulate us. You are invited"
