RUNNING AWAY FROM MY BETROTHED

CHAPTER 107. THE WEIRD ANNOYING DELIEVERY GUY

CHAPTER 107. THE WEIRD ANNOYING DELIEVERY GUY

As we approach the door of his office, we are greeted by the sight of the beleaguered guy standing there, a box of Domino's Pizza cradled in his arms. He's jabbing the doorbell with an air of frustration, as if trying to will it to open faster. Patience isn't his strong suit; he's practically radiating impatience, like an overzealous of annoyance. Not even we who are dying of lust are experiencing this , you know. He is quite an impatient creature.

"Hey, man! You might break the poor bell," Damian speaks as he helps me down to feet, pulling me to him as soon as my feet graze the ground.

Fuck this delivery idiot! He just had the worst timing. Enemy of pleasure and ! What happened to being late, even for just ten short minutes? Wouldn't have cost him his life? Imao! I take my time to hitch my dress, which had ridden remarkably high. Part of my butt was even exposed. My!

"Hey!" I hear Damian exclaim as I finish up fixing myself and jerk my face up, with him as he shrouds my waist, his hand nuzzling my belly.

I shoot my gaze at this delivery. Aside from being an idiot and a bad timer, he is also and dumb, or what? Why the fuck is he not talking? By the ankle of his craned , one can clearly see that his eyes are fixed on me through the veil of the glass of cap. Weirdly, I feel his aggravating eyes scanning my body, particularly where

Damian's hand is resting, and it is giving me bad chills. Has he never seen a romantic , or what the fuck is wrong with him?

"Give me my damn order!" Damian demands, his voice laced with irritation, clearly up with the strange behavior of the delivery guy. I can't blame him; this guy's are getting on my nerves too. I can’t believe a big company like Domino’s

Pizza can have such an annoying dummy as an employee. Where did this one pass to get into their working team?

"Okay, sir!"

Fantastic! He finally found his voice.

But, Wait! Did I hear that voice well, or is there something wrong with my hearing ?

That voice! That freaking irritating voice!?

"Sign here, please," the delivery guy insists, thrusting the delivery book towards

Damian. Damian reluctantly peels his hand from mine to sign the book.

That voice—it is hitting a chord of recognition within me.

As Damian takes the book, I seize the opportunity to shoot a stern look at the delivery , anger and resentment building in me from nowhere. There is something familiar about him. Why does he feel so familiar? Why is he stirring up a within me with just his presence? And the way he is looking at me—it is like he something I don't, or he is just being an annoying dick. But his damn voice—it like a haunting echo from the past.

"Do you have a problem with my fiancee?"

That is just it! Damian is pissed off to his neck. He has fallen short of his cool and he 't impede it any longer. His dominant tone snaps this guy's attention away from me.

"No! Not all, sir!"

That voice again! I can not be mistaken, and now that I know who it belongs to, my is choking me in the throat. The bile is too huge, and I am itching with rage. It not because of what he did to me, but because of the presumptions as to why he is . Isn't this too much of a coincidence?

"Good! Now keep your fucking eyes off her if you don't want me to gouge them out!"

Damian airs in a tone full of authority and dominance. It softly but coldly echoes with much peril. A tone that no one would dare to defy, well, except for this dickhead dares to retort.

"She is beautiful," He mumbles, and Damian fires a murderous glare at him, his hands on the box of pizza he was handed a few minutes ago. Were it not for that the delivery book in his other hand, his hands would be furiously clenched into . "A harmless compliment, though," The jerk adds.

Damian doesn't utter a word, and that shows just how pissed off he is. Not more than , though. The adulterous, lying bastard has the balls to compliment me now?

I snatch the fucking book from Damian, but before I verify what I wanted, the jerk speaks, seizing our attention.

"Have you forgotten me so soon that you have to confirm whether it is really me?"

The nerve! The sickening temerity of him! The shamelessness of his hard-grilled balls! How the fuck dare he?

I shoot a piercing glare at him while Damian's patience wears thin, his attention sharply to me. This guy really has some rotten nerve. Amidst the tension in the air, this fool decides it is the perfect time to reveal his face, the cap that concealed his features.

As the cap comes off, a surge of disgust washes over me. The imbecile himself is a smug that evokes a catastrophe of emotions within me—Leo Theodore.

This despicable son of a bitch.

"Does your memory stink that bad, Ellie? You can't even recognize my sweet voice ." He sneers, his words dripping with sarcasm and contempt.

Sweet? What is sweet about him? No, honestly, what? I look at him right now, and I laugh at myself for having loved him before. What a taste I had, huh! He is than a waste scrap metal. He stinks!

"If there was anything attractive about you, I wouldn't have forgotten you ‘this soon’, 't you think?" I fire, throwing the damn book in his face. Everything that has his on it just stinks!

The idiot catches the delivery book just before it can collide with his face; his are quick but not quick enough to avoid the humiliating near-miss.

Angling himself to speak again, he's visibly seething with indignation. "Is that why wasted no time spreading your legs to the first man you came across? I thought had morals and dignity." His voice drips with venom, his attempt at a cutting falling short as he trails off, perhaps realizing the futility of his words.
