Chapter 17

Susie POV

Eating my food made my mom constantly look at me with an evil eye. I eat with my hands and she has an issue with that even tho for years I was a rogue with her. Mom met her mate when we were simply trying to survive and she was worse and more stubborn than me. I have had a very creative life, to put it in a positive way.

‘You okay there Neo?’ I asked him thru our mind link because he just stopped eating when he was starving last I checked, which was less than 3 minutes ago. ‘No, but I know something and that might not be a good thing to say thru the mind link, I need to process something.’ he says very seriously, I look at his side and he is looking dead straight at the Alpha. What did he say? I finish eating my bite and place my hand on his shoulders.

“You have plans after here Sue?’’ Neo asked me straight and my eyebrows united with his question. “A no, why?” I ask him plainly. “You do now. I have to meet with some friends and I want you to tag along. Get something different in your agenda for a bit. What do you say?”

I look at the Alpha and he smiles at this. “Sure” I smile as a reply as well. Maybe this will help me get my stress lowered. Goddess knows I need answers, big straight answers. I wonder what Neo has to tell me or will he stay quite like the rest. I keep these things in my head and I think I am about to explode till I hear Neo burp, I had to live thru a burp attack.

Is it bad that I ended up laughing super hard as soon as I got to my room, before I could even do this my mom stopped me and I was so close to snapping again. “I’m sorry Susie. I know I am a very difficult woman to deal with but I assure you Sue, my intentions are good but I do need you to please trust me. I don’t want to hurt you with what I know and I want to have you safe. Your father… he wasn't scared at my confessions but he… he doesn’t know how to help and that makes things extremely difficult, but Dante. He cares and he tries so hard… please Sue don’t hate us.”

“I really am in no mood or mind to talk to you.” I answered her.

“Well here this is for anything you may need, I know you don’t like being given things but there are places to get a job or something you'd like.” She gives me a credit card and I am okay on it but then my old clothes, makeup, purses, even my laptop are back at the Lame Pack house.

“I have updated your father on having your things and room as they are. I know I have a lot to tell you but please be open with me, okay?” she finishes and leaves without my response, I close the door of my room, I take a deep breath and massage my neck, why is she so difficult?

I asked Neo to change my clothes and he said yes so he can go to his video downloading, changing to his normal going out clothes and get his backpack. I am a bit nervous about his declarations.

I kinda don’t know what he is changing into and I see my clothes here are of 2 years old and more so I need to do some shopping but I have no money, greate.

The door is knocked on and I yell ‘‘Come in!” and in comes Neo wearing a shirt with a really asian cartoon on his shirt. Converse, patched jacket, black biene, his hair is loose, a side backpack with a lot of pins in them, skinny black jeans and to be surprised he has snake bites of piercings, okay now Neo looks hot.

He goes to me and I see he has gloves on but they are showing his fingers to close my mouth that I had no idea was open. “Sorry you just. Punk style is your look for sure.” I say with wide eyes blinking a bit more than I would like to admit.

“Yea? That means a lot. I hope it doesn't make you feel like a bad nerd, cause being a nerd is not a bad thing it's the attitude I have an issue with.” He states and I have to agree, being smart is okay its the actitud that can ruin the person. Now I know I don’t have clothes for hanging with him. I am a bit annoyed.

“I have no clothes but I have a credit card. I kinda love your look but I really want to see what the mall has… is it bad that I want to match with you?” I ask as I undo my ponytail. He walks to my bed and drops his bag to then come to me, I see he has a spiky black belt and it reminds me of a shirt I have back at the Lame Pack. “May I?” Neo asks and I wave my hand as I go to the bathroom to retouch my makeup and deodorant.

“Found one thing and you're wearing it with those shorts or long pants with sneakers.” He states and when I get out I see my old Grumpy, from snow white. I almost laughed hard at how I forgot I have this shirt and it used to be for pajamas but thank you puberty for filling in my clothes.

“I’m a princess then while you're my Senpai?” I ask and he so gets me out of nowhere and kisses my cheek, making me feel my cheeks warm and I am pretty sure I am blushing.

“My princess” that made me giggle and then I see it.
