Chapter 44
Chapter 44
Jimmy, who had gone out to smoke, was pulled back by Andy. He still had the unfinished butt in his mouth.
When he saw Diane, who had tears in her eyes, he immediately got the butt out and put it into his pocket.
Andy did not notice that Emily was facing Jimmy. She saw Jimmy's movements, but she did not say anything.
"Alright, baby, we've done making the props. Let's continue taking photos, okay?" Emily asked Diane gently.
"Okay, Mommy." Diane sounded like she was about to cry, but she looked resolute. She sniffed and held back her tears.
Her behavior made the surrounding staff members appreciate her more.
After all, children and pets were the hardest to film because there would be a lot of uncertainty. They couldn't control themselves well, so filming related to them would always need more time, and the staff had to work harder.
When everyone accepted this plan, they were prepared.
Although the shooting process was relatively smooth at the beginning today, when Emily discovered the issue with the toy and Jimmy became impatient, it began to affect the progress. However, the other team members were relieved.
The expected result was finally achieved, giving them a sense of security, but a strange feeling as well.
They thought that Jimmy would make Diane cry, and then Emily would have a big fight with Jimmy, causing the work to be delayed.
But they didn't expect that Diane would be able to control her emotions. Although she was young, she acted responsibly at her work and didn't behave willfully.
Diane was about to cry, but she held back her tears for the sake of her work. It made everyone like her.
When the staff placed the props, they were more attentive. They were more patient with Diane. Emily saw all of this and she couldn't help but smile. Although Diane was usually willful, she was proud in her heart. She would do her job seriously.
Emily believed that Diane would rely on herself to gain everyone's recognition. She was doing well right now, wasn't she?
Everyone got serious about working, and their previous frustrations had gone. Jimmy also calmed down.
"Emily," Jimmy said, a little embarrassed. "You're right. The effect will be better after adding that toy."
He stretched the camera in his hand in Emily's direction. He was embarrassed and apologized. This was his way of giving a good gesture.
Jimmy's apology was beyond Emily's expectations. She was stunned for a moment, then smiled and leaned over to look at the photo Jimmy had just taken.
"The scene is better this way, and more importantly, the model acts better this time." Emily pointed at Diane in the photo. "The scene is to serve the product. So, both the model and the props should match the products too. If we reach this goal, then we get the best result, just like how the makeup is adjusted according to each person's characteristics."
Emily said seriously, and Jimmy nodded.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that you were interfering with my work. You were right about it." Jimmy rubbed his nose in embarrassment. He didn't know why he could get angry so easily.
"It's alright. I don't know much about photography. If I were you, I wouldn't like others judging my work either. Although we have different opinions, the final result is good, and this is good for future work." Emily knew that Jimmy had no ill intentions, and she would let go of his mistake this time.
"However, there is one thing that you need to apologize for." Emily paused for a moment and continued, "Your attitude scared Diane. You are her photographer, and you two are partners. Only when you two cooperate well will you bring the best result."
Emily looked serious. She never thought that she could ignore these things because of Diane's young age.
Jimmy stopped rubbing his nose. Just when Emily thought that he would not do anything, Jimmy put down the camera and walked in front of Diane.
"Diane, hello, I am Jimmy, your photographer. I had a bad attitude just now. Will you give me another chance? I think we can take the best photos together, okay?" Jimmy squatted in front of Diane and said softly.
Jimmy's behavior was different from the way he shouted at Diane just now. Diane was a little panicked and looked at Emily. She hoped that her mommy could help her.
Emily looked at her gently and nodded at Diane. "Tell him what you think, baby."
With Emily's encouragement, Diane gathered her courage and said to Jimmy, "When you were angry at me just now, I was scared. I didn't dare to look at you. I forgot what I should do."
After hearing Diane's words, Jimmy lowered his head in shame.
"But when you saw me, you stopped smoking. I think you are a good person." Diane touched Jimmy's head. Every time she made a mistake, Mommy would touch her head to comfort her, so she felt that Jimmy needed this comfort too. She felt that the current Jimmy was not scary at all. Instead, he acted like a lovely pet to her.
Diane messed up Jimmy's hair, but he didn't mind at all. He looked at Diane's smile and felt inspired. The happiness from the bottom of Diane's heart was the best ad for Dream Kids.
Jimmy reached out and hugged Diane. "Thank you, Diane. You are an angel."
Then, he released her. He was afraid that the inspiration he just had would be gone, so he had to take photos quickly.
When Andy saw that they had reconciled, she heaved a sigh of relief. She looked at Emily in admiration. This woman was not only skillful, but she could quickly calm everyone down. Now, everyone was high-spirited at their work. The run-in period of the team passed just like that.
"Everyone, get ready. Let's continue filming." Andy got busy.
Since they patched up, Diane was no longer afraid of looking at Jimmy's camera. She acted naturally in front of the camera. Soon, she got into the state and responded according to the scene Jimmy had described to her.
"Good, Diane. It's your friend. You want to introduce it to me. Yes, that's it. It's great." Jimmy quickly pressed the shutter. He constantly adjusted his posture and angle. He had a feeling that the photos would be perfect.
Suddenly, Jimmy stopped. He frowned and looked in a direction. He felt a little awkward. Where was the problem?
Emily also looked in his direction. After a while, she understood where the problem was.
"Andy." Emily waved her hand and called Andy over. "The light over there is strong. It needs to be dimmed a little, and a reflection board should be removed."
Although Andy was confused, what had just happened made her believe Emily's words. Then, she asked someone to adjust it.
"That's right, that's it." Jimmy stomped his foot as soon as Andy finished adjusting.
Jimmy gave Emily a thumbs-up. "The light over there is too strong. The effect is unnatural. The overly bright light has attracted my attention. No wonder I feel a little awkward."
"Let's continue," Emily said to Jimmy.
Andy somehow felt that making Diane shoot the advertisement might bring an amazing result.
