Chapter 104. LITTLE PIECE

It's been twenty four hours yet nothing from Sophia. I'd be lying if I said that I have everything in order because I do not have it at all. I'm freaking out and angry and pissed that I have no clue where she is and who might have taken her.

The police were still trying to get the faces of the men who took her but it was dark and they couldn't see so they were yet to get any clues.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" I cursed out loud, pacing around the room where Sophia parents, her sister, Jessica and Annabella's, waiting for the police to come give feedback.

I seriously lost my patience. We are talking about my wife who is pregnant here. Heavens knows that I won't forgive this men and I'd make sure they they suffer for it.

What do they want from me and why haven't they contracted me yet for what they want? I honestly have no clue who wanted to harm me or who wanted to harm her.

The police has asked question if there was anyone suspicious or any suspicious activity but our responses were almost similar. We had no idea.

Jessica walked up to me. "It's going to be fine. She will be alright. Relax," she said to me.

"Alright? How am I going to be alright when my whole world is currently missing and goodness knows the torture she must be going through right now," I said, sounding harsh although I had no intended to.

I heard her sigh beside me. "I know it's difficult right now. I mean it's Sophia but all I can tell you is that she will be fine and you just have to wait for the police to get back to us. I know this people won't kill her because what would they gain if they did? And if they wanted to kill her, they would have done it while the power was out."

"They are probably doing this so that you will be pressed if you do not hear anything from them and when they finally contact you, you will give into their demands," She expatiate.

She did make sense in her statement. They wanted me pressed and they got it. I'm angry and freaking out and I need them to call me right now.

I need Sophia back in my life. I love her and I can't do without her. I could barely get by a day without thinking of her and her smile and how warm she felt in my arms.

"They won already. They should tel me what it is they want from me and I would do it," I complained to Jessica.

"I am also as worried as you are and I cannot blame you for reacting this way but we have to wait for the police to come and tell us what it is they have gotten so far. Sophia won't like you this worried," my father in law said to me.

"Exactly. You just have to sit and wait. I know it's difficult at this time but trust me, it will be fine be fine. She will be back in your arms in no time," Jessica added.

"If something happens to Sophia, I do not think I'd be able to survive because we just finished with Sarah's case and now it's her turn. I do not think I'd be able to continue to leave," my mother in-laws cried out loud.

"I cannot keep calm. Not only is Sophia life at risk but our unborn baby. She's pregnant!" I revealed to them.

They didn't know so the surprise look on their face didn't surprise me.

"She is pregnant?" Sarah asked.

"Yes. I was just about to announce that before she was taken away. It's crazy and it's making me go nuts! Just who would have done so and how come no one is telling me about the suspicious people that might have come in for her birthday party!" I exclaimed.

I was yet to get a reply and now that I thought of it, u couldn't help but scold myself for sitting down here and waiting for the police to get back to me when I know it might not take as fast as I want it to be.

"Where are you going to?" I heard Jessica say.

"I am going to take things into my hand. I know who I invited so any one who came without the recognition or Sophia parents or her sister then that person is a suspect," I answered before walking away.

I heard footsteps behind it. It was Jessica. I was quite surprised that she was doing this much for Sophia when they never got along.

"I'm going with you and that's it. Sophia and I might not have gotten along but she is your wife and you are my best friend and I will do anything to make sure that you are happy," she said.

"Thank you Jessi," I told her, feeling glad that she was doing this for Sophia.

She got into the car as I got into the car and I drove to the hall we had used for Sophia's birthday party. I was going to get the CCTV footage of those who entered and they better have it because I will be causing a lot of damage to them.

"Who do you think is actually out to get you? I mean you should think of that too. You keep saying no one but I feel there might be someone who is out to get you but you do not know because they never told you about it or promised to get back at you?" She asked.

I have thought about this a thousand of times but I cannot think of anyone. No one suspicious came to my mind.

"Did you offend anyone or put someone in a situation where you could tell they hate you? You should really think of all this. I mean you are known as a CEO who doesn't give another chance and will fire of anyone easily as long as they fucked up so think," she urged.

I have fired a lot of people and I know I'm not an approachable CEO. Jessica was making sense. It was someone who knows me that did this and only goodness knows if the ones I invited where the ones who kidnapped her.

At this point, anyone could be a suspect. At this point, anyone could have planned all of this and took her away. What if one of the people I invited kidnapped her?

I should have just kept her party private as she wanted it. She wanted a simple and quiet birthday party but it was her twenty first birthday and she would get to celebrate it once and I thought she deserved it. Our one year anniversary around the corner too. I had so much in mind for it.

I wanted to begin the preparations for it after her birthday party and all of this happens. It's driving me crazy.

"I actually don't know. If we consider how many people I have fired for either not been efficient at their work or for stealing from me or any other reason, then it's a lot of people and out of this lot of people, I cannot say a particular person because it might be one of them or none of them," I expatiate frustratingly.

I heard Jessica sigh. "We will find her Adrian. We will definitely find her. It might not be now but we will. She will get back to you safe and sound," she said, placing her hand on my shoulder in a comforting manner.

"I hope so," I said, almost in a whisper.

We arrived at our destination after some minutes and I hastily got out of the car.

"What brings you here again Mr Castillo?" The head of the surveillance department asked.

"I need to see the footage of the guest. Every one of them. I need to know if there was an uninvited guest among them," I informed him.

"Sure sir, we will show them to you." He replied.

I patiently watched the footage, I saw the guest I invited and also made sure to see if there was anything suspicious about them but I got none.

I was already pissed and not getting any clue was making me more pissed.

"Are they all the guest?" I asked before I saw that three men came later.

They were dressed in suits and looking good too but I do not recognize them.

I didn't invite them. They had the tags too.

"Hold on," I informed the head.

"I do not remember inviting this men. Let me take a picture of them and send to in-laws to see if they invited them or not," I informed him before taking pictures and sending it to them.

I asked if they knew the men and waited for their reply which came shortly.

They all denied knowing them or ever coming across them and I saw that as a glimpse of hope.

"I need clear images of these men so that I can give it to the police. If they match any of them men that were seen in the dark who took my wife, then we will start our search from there," I said, feeling a little bit of relief that I got something.

I'm coming for you Sophia my love and I promise to make sure they pay for whatever they do to you.
