Victoria's POV

''Mother's sister.'' I asked, confused.

''Yes, cousin, I'm glad to finally meet you.'' The girl named Jane spoke up. ''Mother, can we go? I have baseball practice in an hour.'' The male among them grumbled. ''Baseball practice.'' I mumbled out, confused. How could someone have a baseball practice at this time of the night.

''Yes Vicky, I'm your mom's younger sister,'' She replied and tried getting close to me, but I moved away from the door.

''Mom was outside few moments ago, and she did not make mention of you guys.'' I stammered in fear.

Laura scoffed and moved away from me when she noticed how scared I was. ''You mean Sofia, your mother's personal handmaid.'' She spoke up.

''What?'' I asked, confused.

''You heard me Vicky, Sofia is your mom's personal handmaid, but don't worry, we will explain everything to you when we get home,'' She explained.

''We have to leave, we are running out of time, We have to go before someone notices us.'' Jane spoke up while getting on her feet. ''We need to leave, Vicky, we don't have much time here.'' ''I'm not going anywhere with you guys, who the hell are you guys?'' I spoke in fear while I went for the door, but it was locked.

Slowly, I turned around, and stared at the three strangers in my room. ''Who the hell are you and what do you want from me.'' I yelled in fear, hoping someone would hear me and come to my rescue.

''Calm down Victoria, I know you have numerous questions to ask, but we can't do that now, at least not here,'' Laura pleaded.

''No, stay away from me,'' I whispered in fear and tried opening the door, but it was still locked, and I don't remember locking the door.

I knew there was something strange and mysterious about these strangers, and it scared the shit out of me.

''Listen my dear, I won't harm you, not when you are my blood. Please come with us, we need to leave.'' She pleaded, but I shook my head.

''Mother, let's just do this the simple way.'' Jamal grumbled angrily as he constantly checked his wristwatch.

''Just shut up, Jamal.'' Jane spoke angrily.

I stared at the three people in my room and felt my heart panting in fear. I wish to run and disappear from this room, but it felt like I was stuck there and couldn't move.

''Jane.'' Laura called out.

''Yes mother,'' Jane replied.

''Show her the mark on your left hip.'' Jane nodded her head and walked up to me.

She raised her dress and showed her left hip to me and to my surprise, she had the same mark as me and in the same place.

''Who are you guys.'' I asked in fear.

''We are family, and we need to leave before someone perceives our presence.'' Jane spoke up

''Yes Victoria, and we have to leave now.'' Lady Laura begged and tried getting close to me, but I moved away.

''Mom, let's do this the easier way. We are wasting time.'' He grumbled angrily.

''Can you at least shut up, you are scaring her.'' Jane spoke angrily.

''Whatever, I was just trying to help.''he murmured and raised his hands as a sign of surrender.

''Just shut up,'' She yelled and moved her gaze back to me.

''We need to leave, and mother will explain everything to you when we get home.''she expressed those words as a plead and brought forth her hand to me

''Come with us, you can trust us.'' Jane begged with her hand stretched out to me''Come on Vicky, we need to go, our time is up.'' Lady Laura begged.

I took in a deep breath and stared at the two ladies before me, even though they were strangers, There was something about them that felt strange but also familiar. It felt like I'd known them all my entire life.

''Come.'' Lady Laura begged.

I inhaled deeply and thought about it. Life here was hell, and I don't know what awaits me when the morning comes. ''I need to write a letter for mother…'' She did not let me finish before she cut in

''You mean your keeper? Don't worry, she knows a time will come when we will come for you and here is a letter we've already written for you, so no one would think you were kidnapped.'' Lady Laura handed a piece of paper to me, which I took and read through.

I read the letter over and over again before folding it. ''What about father?'' I asked with concern.

''He knows we are here to pick you up, but you won't be able to see him for a while.''

''Why.'' I asked

''We will explain everything to you when we get home, but we need to leave.'' Lady Laura begged.

Slowly, I nodded my head and walked up to my bed, I kept the paper on my bed and stared around my room for a while before my thoughts went to Clinton and Sonia, and wondered how they would both feel If they found out I left just like that.

''Should I get my things?'' I asked.

''That won't be needed, we need to travel lightly.'' I nodded my head and went for the door.

''Where are you going.'' Jane asked.

I turned around and stared at her with a confused look. ''We have to leave.'' I replied.

Jamal chuckled softly and shook his head like I had just made a ridiculous joke. ''Stop it Jamal.''lady Laura warned and gave Jamal an angry stare before moving her gaze to me.

''Give me your hands.'' Jane brought forth her hand to me, which I stared at and resisted for a while, before I gave her my hand.

''Lets go.'' The moment Jane said those words, both lady Laura and Jamal placed their hands on her shoulders. ''Close your eyes Vicky, don't worry, you can trust me.'' I nodded my head to her words, took a deep breath before closing my eyes.

I felt a strange breeze blowing on me, but I tightly shut my eyes and refused to open them. Not only that, but I felt a strange cold shiver run through my body, but I still did not open my eyes.

''You can open your eyes.'' The moment I heard those words from Jane, I took in a deep breath and slowly opened my eyes. ''Holy goddess'' I exclaimed in shock.
