Derick's POV

''Speak, I'm a very impatient person.''

''Fine, I need your help, as alphas it's good to help each other.''

''Say what you have to say and don't beat around the bush.''

''Alright, I see you have incredible skills and I need you to train me, at least for a month.'' When I heard those words from him, I chuckled and stared at him with a confused look

''Why do you need me to train you.'' He sighed and tiredly ran his fingers through his hair

''Listen, I've been practicing for hours how to approach you, and now I've done it, please don't make things hard for me.'' I stared at him with raised eyebrows but didn't say a word

''My father died three years ago, and I feel I don't have much training as I should have as an alpha.'' He murmured with a sad look

''I had a fight with my Beta, and he won me, but I was Lucky no one was around, if not that would be a big shame to me.''

''Maybe you should make your Beta the Alpha then.'' I teased

''Not funny.'' He grumbled with a childish frown

I chuckled softly and thought for a while

''What's your gift.'' I asked

''Reading of thoughts, I can read everyone's thoughts, unless you keep your thoughts blank whenever I'm close by.''he replied

''Nice gift.'' I gently caressed my beards while I thought for a while.

''I won't betray you.'' He spoke up, and I knew he just read my thought.

''And my pack and yours can be friends instead of enemies, just teach me how to fight, I want to avoid disgracing myself at the wolverine festival.'' He begged.

''Very well, Thursdays and Saturdays,4pm.'' I said those words and started walking away.

''Thanks.'' He shouted behind me, but I did not respond.

I got to my car, opened it and drove off.

I did not plan on becoming the leader of the cult, but since the position has fallen on me, I have no choice than to accept it.

I drove close to two hours before I got to the Mansion, I parked the car, and came out of it.

''Mate.'' My wolf howled happily.

Angrily I groaned and walked quickly to the sitting room

''Welcome Alpha.'' Servants I met on the way greeted.

I walked into the sitting room and saw Emma's personal maid seated on the couch. The moment she noticed my presence, she stood up from the couch and lowered her head in respect.

''Greetings Alpha.'' She greeted

''I'm…'' I did not let her finish

''I know who you are.''

She nodded her head and raised it up

''My mistress sent me to deliver this to you.'' She stretched forth her hands which held a bag

I moved closer to her and took the bag from her

''I'll call her and tell her I've received her gift, you can ask the servants to give you any refreshments you would like to have.''

''Thank you'' She bows her head while saying those words.

I nodded my head and took the stairs upstairs to my room.

I got to my room, sat on the couch and took out what was inside the bag.

I took out a bottle of body spray, which I knew was made by Emma's family company.

I opened the spray, inhaled it and noticed it scents like watered hibiscus flower.

Smiling widely, I knew it was Emma who prepared it herself and personally for me.

I took out my phone out from my pocket and dialed Emma's number, it rang a few times before it was picked.

''I believe you've seen my present.''

''Yes dear, you made it yourself.''

''Yeah, I want you to smell me around you even though I'm far from you.'' She murmured

I Sighed softly because I knew what she meant

''Not to worry I'll announce you as my Luna before the wolverine festival.'' I promised

''Really.'' She asked excited

''Of course, you are my mate who else would be my Luna if not you.'' Instantly her face flashed in my head, but I ignored it.

''Alright, but you better be fast before someone takes me away from you.'' Hearing those words from her, I chuckled loudly and shook my head

''No will dare take you away From me, I will kill them even if they have the thought of it.'' She giggled over the phone for a while before she spoke up

''Alright, I'll come see you the day after tomorrow.''

''I'll be waiting, I miss you so much.'' I spoke in a lustful tune, while made Emma chuckled over the phone

''I miss you more, Let me call you back.''

''Alright.'' I replied and ended the call.

I kept the phone on the center table before me and took off my boot.

A knock came on my door and without waiting for my response the person opened the door and without being told I knew who it was.

''Congratulations son.''dad smiled at me which I did not return

''I believe alpha Gabriel must have gossiped it to you, don't you think you guys are too old for gossip.'' I murmured and took off the other boots.

Dad chuckled softly and sat on my bed

''He told me how you dealt with Alpha Linus, that was impressive.'' He praised

I Ignored him and unbutton my shirt, I noticed father's gaze on me and without being told I knew he wanted to say something to me

''Say whatever you have to say father, I need to go out for training.'' I spoke up as I stood up from the couch, pulled down my Jean and took it off.

I walked to the closet and picked up a t-shirt and a short jean, and threw them on the bed.

I moved my gaze to father and noticed he flashed me a ridiculous smile which annoys me

''Say what you have to say dad, I have no time for this.'' I murmured and started putting on my clothes.

''So I was wondering when you will announce Emma as your Luna'' When I heard those words from dad, I groaned angrily and threw the shirt I was about wearing, on the bed.

''There is no need getting angry over this, I just wanted…'' I did not let him finish before I cut off

''I will announce Emma as my Luna and make her perform the rituals, I don't know why everyone is pressurizing me with this.'' I muttered angrily, picked up my shirt from the bed, and walked out of my room.

Angrily, I took the stairs to the sitting room, and Just then, I perceived an alluring and fascinating scent.

''Mate.'' My wolf howled in jealousy.

I moved my gaze around and saq Victoria walking into the sitting room with James, and they were both laughing loudly.
