Trapped by Him

Chapter 110

Chapter 110

Camille crouched down to help Gloria, who was on the floor. Gloria did not refuse Camille. She slowly raised her head and stopped deliberately trying to hide her broken voice.

She tried to hide her hoarse voice. Even though she was in so much pain that she didn't want to speak, she didn't want her parents to hear her terrible voice.

Yet right now, she suddenly realized something. They were here today to blame her. They didn't care about her voice and they did not care about her. Why would they care about her ruined voice anyway?

"Alpha Alger, enough with all the fancy words. Why didn't you help me on the day I was released from the werewolf prison? Look at me. I think you have probably forgotten something. I am no longer a member of the Silver Spring Pack. I was exiled. Have you forgotten? I am a rogue now. I have no past, no family, and no background. How can a person like me find a job at a convenience store that is willing to take me on the day I get out of prison? If I didn't go to Fittro Club, I'd be starving and sleeping on the street. Where were you back then?" Gloria said sarcastically.

Camille was right next to Gloria. The moment Gloria raised her head, Camille's eyes revealed a look of horror. She unconsciously loosened her hands that were holding Gloria's arm.

Camille was so scared that she fell to the ground and said, "Your face?"

She pointed at Gloria's face and thought of Gloria's voice. She said, "Your voice..."

Camille thought, 'No! This isn't Gloria!

This is not my daughter!'

Camille could not accept that the woman in front of her was her daughter, Gloria. She trembled and said, "You... Who are you?"

Gloria looked indifferent, but her eyes were filled with pain.

She thought, 'The people who can hurt me the most are the ones closest to me.'

Gloria chuckled. She then thought, 'What an interesting couple. One questions me why I have to be a whore, and the other asks me who I am.'

She was overwhelmed by a sense of exhaustion.

However, it wasn't the end.

Alger's face turned livid after he was questioned by Gloria. For a moment, he felt vaguely guilty. However, then he ordered domineeringly, "Change your job! Quit this shameful job! You're disgracing me!"

When he glanced out of the corner of his eye at the cash and the checks on the table, he no longer felt guilty.

"You want to hold on to the money you got by selling yourself?" Looking at the pile of money and checks and wondering where they had come from, Alger was enraged.

He grabbed the checks in his hand and shouted angrily, "Get rid of the money! All of it!"

With these words, Alger angrily tore up the checks in his hand!

Gloria's eyes widened. Suddenly, she got up and pounced at Alger. She shouted, "It's mine! Who gave you the right to tear my things up? Let go! Let go!"

Yet it was too late. The checks in Alger's hand were now pieces. He glanced at the table from the corner of his eye.

Gloria followed his gaze, and she knew what he was about to do in an instant. She reacted quickly and hurriedly tried to protect the remaining checks and money on the table. However, Alger beat her to it. Soon, he threw pieces of the check into the air, which then scattered all over the floor. Gloria looked at the scene with wide eyes, shocked.

She was stunned. It was not the pieces that were scattered, but her dream!

It was her and Mica's dream.

"It's dirty money anyway. It's bound to be ruined," Alger said with a sneer.

Gloria lowered her head and asked in a trembling voice, "Why... How could you?"

She thought, 'How could you destroy something that someone has worked so hard for so easily?

You know nothing at all!'

Gloria burst into strange laughter.

Alger frowned and said, "How shameless are you! Do you still want to spend that kind of money? Why are you still laughing? You are shameless!"

"You're right!" Gloria suddenly shouted. She shouted in a hoarse voice, "I'm shameless! Shame on me! I am that so-called whore in your mouth!"

Alger slapped Gloria in the face again in anger. He roared angrily, "Bitch! You are so cheap! I'll say this to you again. Change your job! Now! Don't ever go to a shitty place! We can't afford to be humiliated again!"

Gloria quietly looked at the middle-aged man in front of her.

She thought, 'You are my father. Three years ago, you gave me up for the sake of the Silver Spring Pack. I get it.

What about now? Three years have passed. As my father, what have you done?'

"Alpha Alger, do you even know when I was released?" she asked indifferently.

Alger was stunned for a moment. Then, he said nonchalantly, "Why should I remember that? It was a shameful day, not some sort of anniversary."

Gloria looked at her father and sized him up.

Only then did she realize how shameless he was.

She thought, 'In those three years, you never visited me in prison. You don't even remember the day I was released. Then who gives you the nerve to come here and stand in front of me to ask me to change my job?'

"No," Gloria said slowly. She ignored Alger's angry face and smiled, "Didn't Alpha Daley tell you that Patrick owned the Fittro Club when he called you? Alpha Alger, if you could convince Alpha Patrick to let go of me, I'd be very grateful to you."

There was a smile in Gloria's eyes. She said in a mocking tone, "Alpha Alger, why don't you call Alpha Patrick right now and ask him if I can change my job?"

Alger was shocked.
