Triumph Of My Cheating Husband

Chapter164

Chapter164

CIARA

It was now that the new nanny realized what I meant when I said that Herzl was a stubborn kid, and she should be able to contend with him.

"Get my second car ready, let's go get him." I ordered my PA.

She went off as soon as the order dropped from my lips. That's the good thing about her. She knew how to run off and do whatever errand I sent her on with the speed of a mise.

I turned to the new nanny.

"Stay tuned, dear, the drama had just begun, but I believe you would never let him stress me this way once you get hired."

I ambled outside, and approached the second car.

My driver had gone out with Herzl, and my PA had stuff to do with the new nanny, so, I had to do the driving myself.

I knew nothing bad would happen to Herzl at his father's place, but I feared that they would cart him out of the city if the need be, just to keep him away from me and close to them.

They have what it takes to fly him out of the country, and take up a permanent residence in a country I would neverthink off, nor set my feet on in my dear life.

I was careful with speed, because I had a lot of fears. One of them was the fear of getting my reputation tarnished the second time.

If I over speed, the police would be attracted, and guess how the news of me being trapped in police for over speeding would spread.

It took me an hour to get to my destination, but there, I met the usual uncommissioned obstacle, the gate and the security guard with a big riffle.

I didn't bother to wait for them to open the gates. All I could think of was how to skip the gate if they resolve on wasting my precious time.

I stepped out of the car and approached the gate, but the guard threw it open and held me back.

"Stop." He said in a polite manner.

"Get your hands off me!"

"Stop."

His words calmed my rage, and I relaxed my clenched muscles.

"You came forthe kid? He is with his sick father."

Nothing had ever popped some manners into me like his matured choice of words. He wasn't in a rush to stop me, and he wasn't here to shout at me and have me tossed out of the property.

"Where are they?"

"They are inside. Just be fair with the kid and his father."

Ryan's mother wasn't in town.

She left with her maids, that's why the big house was scanty with just Ryan and Herzl in it, I guess.

I walked into the mansion, and having known Ryan's room a long time ago, I headed for in, and in the room, I saw Herzl, sitting next to Ryan who was lying on the bed in the room.

Ryan's room had changed so much.

I can't rememberthe last time I came by.

Just a look at Ryan, and I knew he was sick with fever.

"Herzl."

That's the first name I could utter in the room in otherto announce my presence.

Herzl turned to me, and Ryan looked up.

"Mom."

Herzl stood from the bed, ran towards me and hugged me. He was just an innocent boy who is not ready to take sides and foster the biff between me and Ryan.

"Ciara."

Ryan's voice was weak, so weak that I pity him. Now I see the reason why hadn't visited my place to see Herzl.

I walked down to the bed, sat by Ryan's side, and felt his temperature with the back of my right hand.

He was burning with fever, and needed to be scrubbed and given fever medication.

I turned to Herzl who was standing by, watching us as I touched Ryan's neck to feel his temperature.

"Herzl, go get me a cloth and a bucket of water."

Herzl zoomed off and soon, he returned with a bucket of water and a cloth.

He already knew the in and outs of the house.

He handed me the bucket of water and the clothe.

"Please, Herzl, can you excuse us. Daddy and mom wants to have a talk."

Trust me, I leant those words from Ryan, the day I came to pick Herzl from his place, and Herzl refused to go with me.

I still had that day in mind, but I guess that day keeps reminding me that I'm just incomplete without Ryan.

Herzl shook his head and zoomed off.

He could go for his favorite Japanese anime, or he could go out there to play with my driver who brought him here.

I dipped the rag into water, pressed it, and gently pulled it up and rested it on Ryan's body, moving my hands swiftly, and scrubbing his skin with ease, cooling off his body, and admiring the way his eyes rested on my face as I gave him a first aid treatment that gives pleasure.

He let out a breath of pleasure and comfort.

"Ciara."

His voice was still weak, but the fever was gradually subsiding with the scrubbing with cloth and water.

"Ryan."

I didn't want to maintain eye contact with him because I don't wish to pay some price with my body.

His face curled into a weak smile, and his hand gradually went up to my face.

"You are such a beautiful and kind hearted woman." He said with his weak smile, while I continued with the business of cooling off his fever.

"Thanks." I said, not minding to shrug off his hand like I always did,

"Remember, you are still my legally married wife."

I paused and looked him in the face. I didn't want to make eye contacts with him, but with those words, I looked into his eyes in anger, and tossed the cloth to his face.

I am done with him, and what's next is to take Herzl home, and make sure he never returned again.
