Chapter 113
Chapter 113
Riley walked all the way towards the direction of the restroom until he reached a quiet place where no one was around, then he let go of Bianca.
His fox-like eyes were filled with anger as he questioned displeasedly, "Bianca, do you even know what you were doing just now?"
Bianca arrogantly lifted her small face, smiled recklessly, and provocatively said, "Uncle, what I do seems to be none of your business, right? What relationship do we have anyway?"
Riley choked, recalling the words he said to Bianca before in the bar.
He couldn't be with Bianca.
His momentum involuntarily weakened, and he replied, "Friendship."
"Oh, friendship," Bianca smiled mockingly, extended a finger, poked Riley's strong chest, and said flirtatiously, "Sorry, uncle, I, Bianca Carter, have too many friends, and I don't need you. So, uncle, you'd better stay wherever you feel comfortable and don't disturb my nightlife. There are many friends waiting for me outside."
After speaking, Bianca was about to turn around and leave.
Riley thought of the many men in the dance floor earlier, who had looked at Bianca with such eager eyes. He felt like he had swallowed a fly.
He said, "Bianca, are you really so shameless? Can you just become friends with any man you're with?"
"What do you mean?" Bianca stopped in her tracks when she heard this, questioning.
Riley didn't know why, but every time he faced Bianca, he was particularly prone to anger. His usual self-control seemed to disappear.
He took a deep breath and blurted out, "It means exactly what you think. That time, didn't you and I, on our first meeting, have a 'relationship'?"
"You jerk!"
Bianca rushed to him as soon as Riley finished speaking, raised her hand, and slapped him hard across the face.
The willful little princess glared at Riley with red eyes and said, "I may not have any self-restraint, but what does it have to do with you?"
After saying that, Bianca left the restroom without stopping.
Riley stood still, feeling the clear sound of the slap still echoing in his ears.
He regretted, regretted why he had spoken without thinking, and where his gentlemanly demeanor had gone.
How could he say such harsh words to a girl?
But he was the son of a gambler and a drunkard, wasn't it normal for him to say such things?
His roots had been corrupted since he was very young, a fact that he had been unable to change for over thirty years.
Riley stared at the ground blankly, then raised his hand and touched his cheek, laughing lightly, "Women are really troublesome, especially young women."
With that, he also left the restroom. When he came out into the lobby, he didn't see Bianca. After thinking for a moment, he approached Alessia and greeted her.
"Sia, I..."
"Leaving soon, go ahead." Alessia cut him off before he could finish speaking, understanding his intentions.
Riley pursed his lips. He understood that Alessia wanted to stay and continue fishing, but he couldn't accompany her now.
He raised his head and glanced around the bar again, whispering to her.
"Then, be careful yourself."
"Mm." Alessia nodded.
After Riley left, Alessia stood up and went to the bar. As soon as she stood firm, a man bumped into her.
Alessia reacted quickly, dodging to the side, but the man's drink still splashed all over her.
Luckily, she had changed out of her gown before getting off the car, now wearing short-sleeved jeans. Otherwise, she would have been exposed.
She looked up, and the man was looking at her apologetically. "I'm sorry, it was unintentional. Can I accompany you with another one?"
"No need." Alessia pulled at her wet clothes.
The man grabbed a box of tissues from the bar counter and handed her a tissue, sincerely saying, "Don't refuse. I'm not used to owing favors. If you don't let me compensate, then let me treat you to supper!"
Alessia hesitated for a moment, then nodded, "Alright, let's go."
Turning around, Alessia left the bar with the man.
On the second-floor private room, Nolan watched the backs of Alessia and Enzo leaving, and he couldn't help but click his tongue against his teeth in annoyance.
This woman was truly pretentious.
Back then, when he invited her for a drink, she poured the drink directly on his face, but today, with just a wave from Enzo, she obediently left.
Did she think that the Ramirez family was inferior to the Roberts family? Even if the Roberts family was powerful, Enzo was just a bastard.
Nolan felt jealousy and resentment, and his face contorted. At this moment, his phone rang.
He checked and saw that it was a message from Enzo with an address.
Nolan immediately smiled.
Alessia, this time I'll see how you escape!
He smirked and then made a call, "Hey, I need some help. As long as the job is done, the price is negotiable."
After hanging up the phone, Nolan picked up his glass and took a big gulp before leaving.
Outside the bar, Alessia got into a black sports car with Enzo.
Enzo turned to Alessia in the passenger seat and asked, "Lady, where would you like to have supper?"
Alessia rested her head on her hand and also turned to Enzo, "You're treating, so you pick the place."
"Alright." Enzo smiled, "Since you're so easy-going, I'll choose a place that won't disappoint you. Let's go for grilled fish. I know a place with great grilled fish, although it's a bit out of the way."
"Whatever," Alessia said indifferently.
Enzo didn't mind Alessia's coldness and joked, "Lady, do you know that the hardest thing to do in this world is to be indifferent? You love saying 'whatever' so much, you might as well change your name to 'Whatever'!"
Alessia's expression remained unchanged as she replied, "If you want to call me that, it's fine."
"Alright, Miss Whatever." Enzo went along with it, appearing very talkative on the surface.
Alessia narrowed her eyes and had been observing this man since getting into the car.
This man deliberately approached her, so he must have some ulterior motive, perhaps related to the people who were chasing him before, or maybe he was Z.
Regardless of which one it was, she had to verify it herself.
On the way to the barbecue restaurant, Enzo stopped the car at a gas station. As he parked, he said to Alessia, "Miss Whatever, I need to refuel the car. Hope you don't mind."
Only now, at the gas station, did he remember to ask her?
Alessia's eyes flickered, and she uttered, "Whatever."
Enzo laughed.
After refueling, it was already five minutes later. Enzo then drove the car again with Alessia towards the barbecue restaurant.
When they arrived, Enzo parked the car on the side of the road and got out of the car. He pointed to a small alley ahead and said, "The barbecue restaurant is right ahead. Cross this alley, and we'll be there."
It was almost midnight, and there were few people on this road. A man and a woman crossing a dark alley was not a wise move.
Alessia thought that if a woman agreed, she must have a malfunctioning brain.
But she was different.
Alessia narrowed her eyes and took the lead.
She took a few steps, but noticed that Enzo hadn't followed.
Turning around, Alessia saw the man with the hat walking far away with his back to her. When he saw her turn around, he waved to her. "Miss Whatever, I lied to you. It's not wise to cross a dark alley with a stranger, especially late at night. The supper stall is over there. It's quite famous, and many people come here."
After saying that, Enzo pointed to a place about ten meters behind him.
There were several stalls set up with tents in the alley, but from the outside, it was impossible to see how many people were inside.
Alessia's eyes narrowed. She saw that Enzo had already run towards the barbecue stall while speaking to her, "Miss Whatever, I'll go ahead. Hurry up."
Alessia frowned and was about to lift her leg to catch up when a black commercial vehicle suddenly stopped next to her. The door was forcefully pulled open, and seven or eight men wearing sunglasses got out of the car, surrounding her.
Clearly, they were not here with good intentions!
