"What did you just do? Do you know the implication of what you have done? I can see you have gone insane." Daniella was angry and furious.
"Don't worry, Honey. Tearing the contract paper doesn't mean the end of the deal. It's just a paper." Desmond said to Daniella before turning his attention on Anabel. "Anabel, I wonder how you think that tearing the contract will end the deal. With your status and how dumb you are, you don't understand how corporate alliances work. My partnership with Zacklid group is not something a few torn papers can change."
"Yeah, tearing the contract won't change anything. But you will be punished for it." Daniella added. "Tearing the contract is disrespectful to Zacklid group, and you will pay for it."
"I wonder who is going to do that when I'm in charge here." Anabel smiled.
"The assistant is here!" A voice was heard far at the back.
"You see? I told you to leave on time, and you refused. You are in trouble now. The assistant is here, and nobody is going to save you." Desmond said.
"Who is causing trouble here!" A cold, loud, masculine voice was heard from the back, and all heads turned. The female assistant manager of Zacklid group was making her way to the stage with two guards.
"Nice to meet you, Miss Margaret. I'm Mr. Desmond. Don't worry about the drama; my company is going to meet Zacklid group expectations. I will definitely deliver the work with quality." He was still talking, and her eyes fell on the torn paper on the floor. She left him and picked up the paper.
"Who tore the contract letter?" Miss Margaret asked.
"Miss Margaret, that lady standing on the stage did it. She is humiliating everyone here, including Desmond. She needs to be punished. We cannot let it go lightly." Daniella said with all confidence.
"Yes, Miss Margaret." Desmond spoke up."That woman is my ex-wife. She came here to cause trouble because she heard that I'm about to sign a contract with Zacklid group. She's jealous of me, and she couldn't handle it. I'm sorry I couldn't stop her. I know how angry you will be right now. On my behalf, please don't hurt or punish her. I just want her to leave here."

"You don't have any problem. You are the one who secured the contract. It's in your hands to do whatever you like with it."
"Impossible! She's never the one who got the contract. My fiancée did. She got the contract for me." Desmond said.
"Your fiancée? Is that what she told you?" Miss Margaret asked. "She got a contract from Zacklid group, and I don't even know who she is? I'm the assistant manager of Zacklid group, and I haven't seen her face before. To my best knowledge, Anabel secured the contract for you. We don't even know that you guys have separated. I guess it happened recently."
