Chapter 155 I'm not your uncle's girlfriend

Rachel's POV

"Ms Rachel, you have a visitor". A maid came to announce

A visitor? I wondered biting my lips

Who could it be?

There were only two people who came to visit me, and that was Marina and Joyce, and the both of them had one thing in common, they always came unannounced

Also It couldn't be Marina since I came back from her house not too long ago

" Em... Who is it?" I asked the maid who was still standing there

"It's me ". A stylishly dressed young lady in a blue jumper and bright blue glasses walked in

" And me ". Jake cute voice rang as he ran past his mother and rushed towards me

" Rachel". He threw himself forward towards me and I had no choice than to stretch out my hands to catch him

"Hey, careful". I warned with a giggle twirling the kid around

" Hi, Rachel". Hannah waved with a smile which I returned

"We heard about... Well all your misfortunes and cake to say hello ". Jake said coming down

All my misfortunes? I raised a brow at him

" Yeah you know, the getting arrested, and almost falling into coma again, you know those misfortunes... Unless there is more you're yet to tell us about"

I smirked, surprised at the little boy's audacity

I always knew he was fearless, but it still surprised me

He was literally just as I was when I was little

" Alright then, why are you just coming to greet me now?" I played along sitting down

"That's all mummy's fault". Jake pouted cutely before glancing at Hannah, who I just noticed has been staring at me the entire time. " She wanted us to wait for a while, we only arrived here yesterday"

I nodded while Hannah just looked away

I wasn't psychic or anything, but I felt like she wanted to say something but was holding back

" You know Rachel... " Jake tapped me a little and i snapped out of my thoughts looking at him. " I missed you a lot.

My heart fluttered and I unconsciously smiled. " I missed you too"

"Yeah, because I has thought you were going to die or something so... " Jake added sounding nonchalant

My smile disappeared and I glared at the little kid. " You just have to ruin the moment didn't you"

" What? " Jake shurgged before winking at me. " You're my uncle's girlfriend, it's only right that I worry whether you're alive or not

Two voices, male and female, young and older all shouted at the same time

Hannah looked to be in some kind of shock, while Jake... Well Jake was Jake

Ethan walked in through the front door at the excat moment, looking as dashing as ever. He flashed me a smile before noticing his sister and nephew

" Ana, you're here ". He went to Hannah and gave her a hug. "Brother

"Uncle Ethan ". Jake stood up from the chair and went to hug Ethan, not so different from the way he did me. The only difference was Ethan was able to carry him higher, may higher than I did

" Oh, so you can call him Uncle yet you call me by my name?" I mumbled under my breath as I watched the Wright family

I wanted a brother or sister I could actually hug once when I was little. All of my cousins indirectly made me feel like I wasn't party of the family, I was just too naive to read between the lines

But watching the Wright family interact with themselves like this, it made me wish it again

' You already have it remember? Raine is more or less your brother and there was another one too
