Lana's POV
My eyes widened in shock and my mouth curved in excitement, how could I feel this much emotions just from hearing those four words.
I hate her too
Olivia hates Rachel too... That was fucking fantastic!!!
I couldn't stop the smile on my lips from spreading even wider, and before I knew it, the smile transformed into a full grin.
I could feel Olivia's irked expression, but the smile won't just stop.
This was the best news I've heard in a long time.
"What the hell could you be possible thinking to make you smile that much? " Olivia asked taking a step back.
I shrugged, clearing my throat to mask my smile. " Nothing really... Just about Rachel's downfall and how I'll crush her. " I said looking down at the ground.
Did I sound too serious?
I did not want Olivia to think of me crazy, but that was the truth.
But then I looked up at Olivia, thinking only one thing, why did this lady hate Rachel?
"But wait a second, why do you hate her? " I asked out of curiosity
I was definitely happy that I had someone like Olivia Sangria on my side, but it was suspicious. Why was the top actress on my side?
" Just like you, she stole my man". Olivia curtly replied.
What the hell...
My lips let out a light gasp. Rachel stole Olivia's man? Just what was she, a whore?
The thought of Rachel sleeping with men for joy brought another smile to my lips. Rachel was not as perfect as she portrayed herself to be, this was the best news I've gotten all month, that apart from David's proposal, which he just took back the ring yesterday...
Lana focus, don't think about the bad things. I shook my head distracting myself from remembering all the terrible things that happened to me yesterday. But as soon as I shook my head, I felt a sharp pain in my neck.
Darn... The mark David inflicted on ne yesterday when he held my neck was still very visible and it still hurt. That was the reason I wore a turtleneck which was incredibly and annoyingly itchy, with long pants.
I would normally never ever wear a sweater like this, but I didn't pack any high neck dresses, and I couldn't just go to the mall looking like a fucked up mess, so I had to borrow the damn sweater from one of her assistant, because I don't own something this ugly.
I was even half expecting Olivia to coment on it, but instead I got amazing news. My lips hooked up in another smile as the thought of Rachel being kicked out the movie flooded my head.
" Why are you smiling? Are you happy?" Olivia suddenly asked staring at me incredulously.
I immediately coughed hiding her smile. "Ahem... No, of course I'm not happy, I'm just, er... " My eyes darted around the hall looking for how to change the topic. It would be deeply embarrassing if Olivia found out that the man I ' stole ' from Rachel, hit me." Em... How did Rachel steal you're man when we all have been in this country filming?"I asked quickly changing the topic.
Then suddenly I suddenly realized something.
Rachel was holding a really handsome guy's hand yesterday night at the party, and he claimed she was his girlfriend. Could the man that protected Rachel from David anger, could he be the same man Olivia was referring to?
" I saw Rachel yesterday with a goodlooking man, is that your man?" I asked curiously.
Olivia rolled her eyes. "What do you think? And Ethan is not good looking... He's breathtakingly handsome! " she gloated.
As much as I wanted to roll my eyes, Olivia was right. The man I saw yesterday protecting Rachel, was extremely hot... Breathtakingly handsome was an understatement!
But also Olivia didn't deny it... So that guy, Ethan, was her man?
How in the hell did Rachel manage to seduce such a handsome, and from his looks, rich man?
The question was burning in my head as I ransacked it for answers. One thing I knew for sure, Olivia won't tell me.
" So how do you purpose we get back at Rachel? Because we can't just do nothing and just watch her steal the important people in our lives". I asked after the long moment of silence.
Olivia looked at me warily, " What do you mean? You already got the husband... I even saw you with a ring just the other day". Olivia said glancing at my hands, which I immediately hid behind my back.
Because of how fast I hid it, Olivia's stare turned been more suspicious.
Should I tell her that David took his ring back?
No... No... No
That would only make me look pathetic. What should I say? I wondered as I opened my mouth but no words came out.
"No way..." Olivia exclaimed with an amused smile. " Don't tell me that, the guy, David? He collected his ring back? OMG and I thought my situation was bad" Olivia scoffed annoying me.
Do you think I wanted him to collect back his ring? I wanted to yell back at Olivia so bad, but I bit my lip instead staring at the floor.
It was better to have Olivia as a friend than anything else.
"Why did he take it back? Did Rachel do something to him? Or is he trying to get back Rachel?"
Olivia continued mocking me, annoying me even more. But then she stopped laughing... She stop talking in general and fell into a deep thought stroking her chin with her hands.
What could she be thinking about? I wondered before calling out her name.
"Olivia?" I called out, then she suddenly snapped her head at me.
"Do you think Rachel still have feelings for her ex, which is also your ex now... Huh" she said as if it was surprising but I could bet she knew what she was doing.
It was not like her situation was any different, mine was even better! I groaned inwardly while keeping a straight face.
But could Rachel still have feelings for David? No that would be impossible! How can she still feel something for another guy, when she has a guy like Ethan on her side?
Though David was handsome, he paled in comparison to Ethan. The Rachel she knew back them only cared for three things in a guy, his looks, his pockets, and his head... And by the looks of things, Ethan had all three... Then why the hell would she leave him for David?
I looked up to see Olivia looking back at me with expectant eyes.
Did she really think Rachel would leave her man for David? And even if she did, why would I allow that?
"So... Would she?" Olivia asked again impatiently.
Should I just tell her what she wants to hear, or what I really think?
I gulped thinking of the right answer to give Olivia. Even if Rachel decides to go back to David, there was no way I would agree to it... David was mine and mine alone.
"Olivia I don't think Rachel would do that, David really hurt her " I said slowly hoping Olivia would drop the topic, but she didn't.
" No... She might actually leave him. You said David and Rachel had been together since highschool, she must still have a bit of love for him..." The more Olivia spoke, the more annoyed I was getting.
How could she outrightly speak of my man with Rachel like that, and the way she sounded, it was like she wanted to set them up!
"Olivia, even if she does have feelings for him, David belongs to me and I only me" I shouted interrupting her.
Olivia gave me a smile. "I know, I know... I just want Rachel to leave Ethan alone for sometime. Of course I don't wish for her to go back to your man, we'll destroy her before that happens ". Olivia said reassuring me.
I blinked, before letting out a sigh. It was not what I was thinking
" I just thought you wanted to use David to lure Rachel away from your man..." I stated my option bluntly and Olivia frowned.
"Why would I want to do that? Rachel has offended me, and she must pay. So tell me are you in?" She asked offering her hand for a shake.
