Chapter 101 Junior Brother, You're Working Out?
Chapter 101 Junior Brother, You're Working Out?
They knew they weren't strong enough and needed to travel in a group. However, a few second-tier wizard apprentices still gathered around, their eyes filled with curiosity, and inquired about the price.
"How much is this boat?" Lin Wei asked with a smile, while casually inspecting the boat.
The boat is a good boat, with a smooth hull, all the necessary features, and it looks quite new.
"80 points, you want to buy a boat?" The first-class wizard apprentice selling the boat finally looked up from the book, glanced at Lin Wei with disdain in his eyes, and added, "A third-class wizard apprentice's robe. Junior brother, I advise you to rent a boat with someone else and go out to sea. It'll be safer that way."
Lin Wei smiled nonchalantly, a slight smirk playing on his lips. "Thanks for the reminder. 80 points isn't too expensive."
After attending classes regularly for the past six months, he still had over 150 points left, making him quite wealthy among wizard apprentices. He straightened his back, a smug look on his face. Earning points wasn't easy for ordinary wizard apprentices; the flesh and blood of the sea race was a mountain, and the flesh and blood he paid each month didn't count towards his points.
The others gathered around, their eyes filled with greed.
"That's too ambitious. A third-class wizard apprentice buying a boat to his death?" A second-class wizard apprentice, arms crossed and a look of disdain on his face, said Ondo. He was determined to get the small boat, but wanted to haggle a little more.
"Yeah, 80 points isn't cheap."
The others watched coldly. They also wanted to buy the boat, but they disagreed with the price. Their eyes revealed hesitation, as they wanted to save some money.
Lin Weiquan pretended not to see it, took out his business card from the academy, and quickly transferred the points to the first-class wizard apprentice who sold the ship.
"80 points, I'll buy this ship," Lin Wei said readily, his face resolute.
The others were stunned for a moment, their mouths slightly open, their eyes revealing surprise. But the transaction had already been completed, and even the seller hadn't reacted yet. However, the points in his account were real, and he happily accepted them with a smile on his face.
"Junior brother, happy transaction. I spent over a hundred points to build this ship, and it hasn't even been used for two years. You won't lose out by buying it; there aren't many like it in the organization. Be careful, my name is Leibi." He patted Lin Wei on the shoulder and reminded him.
"No problem," Lin Wei replied with a smile.
He has his own boat, and he won't need to go out to sea with anyone anymore. He is full of anticipation.
"You hothead, are you rushing off to your death?" The second-class wizard apprentice, Ondo, was furious, his face flushed. He hadn't even had a chance to haggle, and the ship had already been sold. He waved his arms and shouted.
It won't be easy to find a new boat like this again, and it might cost even more money to buy it, which means he lost money. The more he thought about it, the angrier he became, and veins bulged on his forehead.
The others shook their heads, their eyes revealing helplessness; it was a complete failure to snag a bargain.
Lin Wei, annoyed, looked at him directly and said, "What's it to you? You came here first, but didn't buy anything. I bought something, but you're spouting nonsense. You think you can become a wizard, you idiot?"
Having been a lord in the human world for so many years, Lin Wei knew at a glance the reason for his exasperation. He put his hands on his hips, his eyes revealing contempt.
"What did you say?" Ando never expected to be insulted by a third-class wizard apprentice. His eyes widened, and he was furious. "Looks like I have to teach you a lesson and show you what respect is."
Without a second thought, he pulled out his wand, chanted incantations, and unleashed several large bubbles that hurtled towards Lin Wei, the bubbles accompanied by a whooshing sound.
The nearby wizard apprentices all looked over, and some curious onlookers gathered around, their faces filled with excitement.
The Turing Tower has a rule that conflicts outside the sparring area must not result in death.
"These blisters won't cause much harm, but this guy's definitely going to be soaked to the bone," someone muttered, covering their mouth.
The blisters appeared quickly, and Lin Wei immediately realized what was happening. He narrowed his eyes and squatted down slightly.
"Hey, Ondo, don't cause me any trouble." Leiby's face turned cold. Logically speaking, Lin Wei was still his customer, and he was about to get beaten up right after the transaction. He frowned and his eyes revealed his dissatisfaction.
However, Ondo's older brother, Onko, is quite talented and is one of the most promising apprentices to break through to the first-ring wizard level.
He didn't want to provoke them easily.
Lin Wei looked at the water bubble that was right in front of him, kicked his legs hard, creating a deep pit in the soil beneath his feet, and sprang up like a tiger. He appeared out of thin air, leaving a blur behind the wizard apprentice Ondo. To Ondo's horror, Lin Wei quickly reached out and grabbed his neck, lifting him up. Ondo's legs kicked wildly in the air.
Lin Wei's height of 2.5 meters is extremely tall among wizard apprentices. In front of him, Ondo looks like a pitiful little chick, being held by the neck, his legs swinging wildly in the air, his face full of fear and anger, his mouth wide open but unable to utter a complete scream.
"You..." Ondo's face turned red, his veins bulged, and he felt like he was about to suffocate, his hands flailing wildly in the air.
Lin Wei's current basic attributes are extremely terrifying. Even without using the breathing technique to cover his body, his physical strength is extraordinary. He looked calm, but his eyes revealed disdain.
"Your skills are amazing, and there's no magical fluctuation at all. Junior brother, are you working out?" Leibi's eyes widened, his mouth slightly agape, his face full of disbelief, and he almost dropped the book in his hand.
"A melee wizard?" a wizard apprentice exclaimed in surprise, and the people around craned their necks, their eyes full of curiosity.
People had various opinions, and the scene was noisy.
Lin Wei remained unmoved and calm. He knew in his heart that he was only retaliating and would not trigger the organization's punishment.
"Quickly... put me down." Ondo felt he was about to see his great-grandmother, his voice weak and pleading.
"As you wish." Lin Wei shrugged and let go. Angdo sat down on his butt like a rock, slumped to the ground, panting heavily, his face as pale as paper.
It wasn't particularly aggressive, but it was incredibly insulting, and a few soft chuckles came from the surrounding area.
"Everyone, you can disperse now." After saying that, Lin Wei clapped his hands, then jumped up and landed steadily on the boat. He then began to skillfully untie the ropes in preparation for setting sail.
"This guy is a rough fellow, and he seems quite interesting," commented a female wizard apprentice, her eyes gleaming with curiosity.
"Junior brother, be careful. It's too much for a third-class wizard apprentice to go out alone," Leipby, who was selling the boat, reminded him, his brows furrowed slightly and his face showing concern.
"Yes, I will. Happy transaction." Lin Wei smiled. The ship was worth the price, and he was very satisfied that he hadn't lost money in his deal.
