They hid their truck carefully in the deep forest and walked slowly towards the house praying to god for Jeremy's safety. They had reached the drainage tunnel which emptied outside in a pothole, when one of the men saw some movement a little further away in the bushes. They signaled them and they walked slowly towards it.

And what they saw made them leap with joy, as Jeremy was carrying his wife and coming out of the hidden passage near the tunnel.

They hurried towards them without wasting time, at first Jeremy was shocked but when he saw them he collapsed near them.

The men who had come with them were very strong and they carried Jerome and his wife towards the hidden vehicle and once they were settled inside. They quietly drove away.

But they were worried about Jeremy and Jane, as they were still unconscious so on the way they picked up Doctor Davis, who was Logan's old acquaintance.

The truck was really big so the doctor had managed to stabilize the smoke which had spread inside their lungs and once they reached the Cabin he had injected medicines and told the bodyguards to let them sleep.

The doctor had stayed back and observed them for some time and was briefed about everything. Doctor Davis had served in the CIA a long time back and Logan was his pal so he was very happy that his friend was out of the police cell and was trying to catch the culprit but he warned them to be careful as he knew that the people whom they were dealing with were very ruthless.

"How are you feeling after coming out of the prison buddy." He asked happily.

"Happy as hell and scared as the devil." Logan shook his head and smiled. "Feels good to be free, sitting here drinking coffee not having to worry about somebody trying to get the jump on me every second of my life."

"But what are you planning to do after you catch the culprit?" The doc asked curiously.

"I don't know Davis, I am too worked up right now, all I know is that I need to take care of Jeremy and his wife, as I owe him a lot for taking care of me all these years and once, all this is over I will be going down to Hawaii. Went a few times after I joined the CIA. Got some old buddies who live there. I will do some fishing, live on the beach. That sounds good to you?"

"Well you have planned it very well but what if they catch you before you make trouble for them." Doctor Davis said with worry in his voice.

"Then I will make sure I kill all of them and die a decent death like a hero and not like a coward." Logan smiled and said confidently.

Doctor Davis shook his head and said. "Logan I have known you for many years and know that you will not give it up that easily and I am there for you buddy so if you need any help just let me know."

" I really appreciate that Davis and thank you for saving Jeremy and Claire but I won't trouble you as I don't want to put you into trouble. I will tell the men to drop you to your clinic early in the morning." Logan said with warmth in his voice.

" But how long are you going to stay here?" Doctor Davis questioned him.

"A couple of days first I want to let things die down a little then we will make our move." Levi came from behind and conformed it to him before Logan said anything.

Early in the morning Doctor Davis was dropped outside his clinic and he went in from the back door, so that no one would notice that he was not in his flat the whole night.

H A was seated on the lounge of the Café which was in the suburbs of Seattle and looked at his friends who were accompanying him.

They were very angry as well as nervous as Logan had escaped from the remand hospital and they were not being able to trace him. They had burned Jeremy's house and killed him mercilessly but the main man was missing and they had to find him or he would be the reason for their downfall not to forget that Ale was very furious and he would never forgive them for their mistake.

"We should have killed him a long time back but you people never listened to me." Henry Adams said with disgust.

He looked at all of them seated opposite to him, they had been friends from their time in the university, when they were young and energetic.

Now all four of them were around their fifties but still maintained themselves.

No one said anything to what he had to say.

Just then Zedd entered with his men and saw all of them sitting together. He observed them slowly. The one sitting in the far end corner was Joey Gilbert, the former CIA agent and now the head of the finance department in Clarke international. He was one of a kind, very polite from the outside but nobody knew how ruthless he could become if he was tempted by anyone.

Just opposite to him on his right was Henry Adams the man, who was also a former FBI agent but now the marketing head of Clarke international. He was the most wanted man by the police and was known as HA in the underworld. Anybody could be fooled by his looks but he was as dangerous as a leopard.

Zedd was looking at these men and thinking these are the two sets of men whom people should be afraid of.

And there was Ray Reynolds, the man who was now the commanding officer at the federal detention center, where Logan was sent after he was persecuted. He was feared by the prisoners the most but he had his reputation. He was running an illegal business inside the prison and was very famous among the politicians.

One of them saw Zedd walking towards them and said. "Well, here comes our main man without him we are nothing."

Brooke was the one who noticed it and said. " Be quiet guys, our friend Zedd is getting annoyed."

Zedd clenched his fists but said nothing.

"Zedd I hope you remember, your daughter is beautiful and is doing well in her academics in New York, do you want her to get herself involved in some accident?" Henry said wickedly.

Zedd's heartbeat was beating hard and he felt suffocated he controlled himself and said hurriedly. " Don't do anything to her. I am doing whatever you have been telling me, so why are you trying to harm her."

"Zedd you are overreacting, we are very happy with your services but just wanted to remind you again, if you have forgotten about it." Henry sneered at him.
