Ultraman: A good pilot doesn't choose his own Ultraman.

52. The god Kirieloid can protect us.

"Long time no see, Mr. Jiang Yu. I noticed your posture the other day."

Riko Yamaguchi sat down, without asking Obik if he wanted ramen.

Her goal in coming here was very clear: she was here for Jiang Yu.

Obik didn't bother her. He recognized the woman; she seemed to be the leader of one of the Kirielod tribes.

They also possess enormous combat abilities, so it's best not to provoke them if possible.

It's ridiculous, really. This great demon, Obik, is someone no one dares to mess with. It's outrageous.

Obik looked at the empty bowl beside him, sighed, and quickened his pace.

Well, he's better at making ramen.

Jiang Yu carefully flipped through the photos he had taken, remaining somewhat noncommittal about Yamaguchi Riko's words.

Even if he saw it, so what? He was in a terrible state both times. Now that he has lost his value in the hearts of the Kirieloids, Jiang Yu wouldn't be surprised.

"So, why did you come to me?"

I don't think I have much time for casual conversation; the area around me is quite dangerous. You can try it if you don't believe me.

Riko Yamaguchi's gentle smile remained unchanged, but she stood up rather solemnly and bowed deeply to Jiang Yu.

"I've come here to apologize to you. The danger you encountered at TPC was revealed to the higher-ups by my men."

I have already returned him to the embrace of the god Kirieloid, please forgive me.

Jiang Yu looked up and saw that Yamaguchi Riko was a typical Japanese rich girl, with a delicate face but a slender figure.

Even with such a bow, there's no possibility of any accidental exposure; at most, you can see two small bulges. Truly befitting her status as a young lady.

"Stop putting on airs, it's making me uncomfortable. Sit down and let's talk."

Jiang Yu was also quite troubled, as he had no idea what this wretched little place called Neon was all about.

With such thorough implementation of the craftsman's spirit, even aliens couldn't avoid it?

Jiang Yu didn't think too much about why he was exposed at the time; he just wanted to send the damned guy on his way.

I initially thought TPC's satellite technology was too advanced, but then I realized something was wrong. Daigo hadn't been exposed so many times, so why was he exposed twice?

Now there's no problem; it suddenly makes perfect sense that the Kirieloids are taking secret photos.

At that moment, Jiang Yu and Faust were both focused on each other, so who would care about a non-threatening Kirieloid?

"I'm very sorry, Mr. Jiang Yu."

Riko Yamaguchi sat down, apologetic smile on her face.

"As you know, there are always those who are too arrogant to recognize the power of giants. There are always some members of our race who are unable to grow to gigantic size, yet they dream of achieving instant success..."

"It's okay, none of that matters right now."

Jiang Yu waved his hand. He hadn't really been happy about accepting Yamaguchi Riko's invitation, but now they were even.

The power of the Paragi Stone didn't allow Jiang Yu to absorb the monster's abilities and instantly achieve great things. All the transformed traits had to be cultivated slowly before they could unleash their full potential.

Otherwise, Jiang Yu wouldn't be in such a sorry state facing Faust, and wouldn't even have to fight with the determination to die.

If Kiranbo's teleportation had been more powerful, Jiang Yu felt he could have walked Faust to death even while walking his dog.

There's no need to take what Riko Yamaguchi said to heart. She's already gone to embrace the god Kirieloid, so what else is there to say?

Arguing with a dead person proves nothing...

Interrupted by Jiang Yu, Yamaguchi Riko showed no anger and obediently shut her mouth.

She still remembered that when she compared Jiang Yu's image of a giant with various materials, the result was that it was a light that appeared earlier than giants like Ultraman Tiga.

Each time it appears, it signifies a civilization facing annihilation.

Once the problem is solved, it will disappear again, only to be passed on to the next lucky person.

If this force can be won over, perhaps the crisis predicted by Kirieloid can truly be overcome.

In the blink of an eye, Obik's ramen was served again.

While slurping his noodles, Jiang Yu casually asked about Faust.

Knowing that there was a giant who could defeat him, Jiang Yu didn't believe that Yamaguchi Riko wouldn't be paying attention to Faust's movements.

Having operated for many years and possessing countless informants in human society, the Kirieloids are certainly more well-informed than Jiang Yu, who is completely clueless.

The reason why Riko Yamaguchi still sought out Jiang Yu must be because she had other plans in mind.

Faust was not easy to communicate with; even aliens might not escape the fate of being turned into puppets.

"That dark giant..."

A hint of apprehension flashed in Riko Yamaguchi's eyes. She didn't know much about Faust, but he was no different from the dark giant she remembered.

Powerful, evil, manipulative.

There is no way to establish a cooperative relationship with such a being.

"So, he's taken over Mr. Onoda's body and is now in that dark monster's lair?"

After finishing his noodles, Jiang Yu burped and then thoughtfully rubbed his chin.

The lair of Hyranos, the place where even Daigo couldn't transform.

From this perspective, it does make sense; Faust preferred an environment where all light was swallowed up by darkness.

"Mr. Jiang Yu, he seems to be doing you a disservice. Why don't you come with us to Kirieloid Star ahead of time?"

There, God will protect us.

Riko Yamaguchi clearly had great confidence in the god Kirieloid she worshipped, who was invincible in the lair.

Once Jiang Yu grows stronger, the predicted crisis will no longer be a problem.

But staying on Earth wouldn't work; God's power simply couldn't reach that far.

"Thank you for your kindness, but that guy won't let me leave." Jiang Yu shook his head and declined. "Here's a piece of advice: if you don't want that guy to target you, stay away from me."

Cough cough!

Riko Yamaguchi fell silent. Jiang Yu's words made sense, but her expectations were about to be dashed, and she was always very unwilling to accept it.

"Mr. Jiang Yu, if you've made up your mind, come find me at this address."

Riko Yamaguchi left behind a card with her usual address on it.

The next moment, Riko Yamaguchi vanished in spirit form, leaving as mysteriously as she had come.

"They're really persistent."

Jiang Yu wrote down the address and then crushed the card with his mental power.

"Obik, the bill's ready."

Jiang Yu packed up his camera and got up to leave.

Finding out where Faust is hiding is a pleasant surprise; we need to get there quickly.

If Faust were to devour the darkness and evolve, he would have even less of a chance of winning.

"Sir, we don't have a card machine here. How about you pay on credit?"

Obik slung a long face over his face as he cleared the dishes, suspecting that Jiang Yu had done it on purpose.

"No need, here's the card. If you ever have the chance to eat noodles here, just put it on the card."

If you can't come, just buy noodles for anyone passing by.

Jiang Yu simply gave the card to Obik, since he doesn't need it anymore.

After saying that, he disappeared from the ramen stand with his camera in his hand.

"Strange, you're making such a big deal out of it, how much money do you actually have? Don't tell me I'm the one who has to pay you back again..."

Obik accepted the card, muttering to himself.

Never mind, it's a success as long as nothing bad happened today. I just hope that strange and dangerous guest won't come again.

It's getting late, let's go back to the village.

……

As night fell, Jiang Yu traversed the mountains and forests, heading towards the lair of Hyranos.

He finally understood why Brother Zhun had to run to the scene every day.

Stone Wings are too large a target to summon casually.

When you don't have your own transportation and are relatively poor, traversing mountains and forests and expending physical energy to get somewhere is the best way.

Just as Jiang Yu was on his way, pondering how to lure Faust out, he inadvertently looked up, which stunned him.

In the mist not far away, a man's figure was particularly clear in the moonlight.

"Mr. Onoda?"
