Chapter 203 Spaceship Dizziness Constitution
Chapter 203 Spaceship Dizziness Constitution
The two female soldiers on the spaceship were also encountering such a situation for the first time. They really didn't understand how there could be a spaceship that was paralyzed by insects.
Even the most pampered high-ranking male insect larvae in the insect race don't get carsick, so no one expected that a tall male insect like Lord Cheng Chu would get carsick on a spaceship.
Seeing the male insect, who had vomited three times before even reaching the halfway point of the journey, the two females exchanged a glance, both feeling somewhat frightened.
Marshal Anaos ordered them to ensure Lord Cheng Chu's safe passage to General Mikel, lest he vomit and die en route. Otherwise, the two of them would have no way to explain themselves.
The white-haired female soldier in the co-pilot's seat had no choice but to make a video call to Mikel. The computer was quickly connected, and Mikel's image appeared on the screen.
The white-haired female soldier greeted him, "General Mikel, good day."
Mikel was also waiting for their message, so the call connected quickly. Seeing the female soldier's unwell expression, Mikel assumed something was wrong with the male, and his voice was urgent: "Where is Lord Chengchu? Where is he?"
Upon hearing Mikel's voice, Cheng Chu, who had just finished vomiting and was slumped on the small bed behind him, broke out in a cold sweat. His muddled mind made him think he was hallucinating.
He was vomiting profusely in the back, while the white-haired female soldier in front was reporting his condition to Mikel.
"Admiral Mikel, His Excellency Cheng Chu seems to be suffering from space sickness; he's vomiting quite badly. We've already reduced the ship's speed to the lowest setting, but it hasn't helped much. We've also suggested finding the nearest place to stop, but His Excellency Cheng Chu disagrees."
Regardless of gender or age, almost none of the Zerg experience ship sickness. Even if they do, it's extremely rare.
Mikel, on the other side of the screen, thought for a moment and said, "Could you please give him the personal terminal? I need to say a few words to him."
"Yes, General Mikel." The white-haired female soldier left the co-pilot's seat and walked towards the back.
The space behind the small spaceship was cramped; there was only a small bed, a small table, and a toilet. Despite the air circulation system being on, the small space was still filled with a sour, vomit-like smell.
The white-haired female soldier entered without changing her expression and handed over the light screen. She respectfully said, "Your Excellency Cheng Chu, General Mikel wishes to speak with you."
Feeling dizzy and disoriented, Cheng Chu didn't react at first, his eyes glazed over. But when he saw Mikel on the screen, his eyes lit up instantly.
"Master, Master, are you alright?" Mikel also saw the male insect's pale face, and he felt utterly helpless as he looked at the screen.
Previously, there were only two unfamiliar female military personnel on the spaceship, and Cheng Chu didn't want to trouble them, so he held back. But as soon as he saw his dearest Mikel, Cheng Chu couldn't hold back anymore. He stretched out his arm and took the light screen from the white-haired female military personnel's hand, his voice weak and filled with deep grievance: "Wife, I missed you."
Seeing the male insect in such distress, Mikel felt as if an invisible hand were gripping his heart, causing him immense heartache. He comforted him, "Master, where do you feel unwell? Are you feeling nauseous from spaceship motion sickness?"
"Ugh, I feel nauseous." Cheng Chu felt a lump in his throat, his chest tight and uncomfortable. He pouted and said, "Wife, I feel so awful."
Seeing that they had started chatting, the white-haired female soldier tactfully withdrew.
Mikel said softly, "My lord, you seem to be feeling unwell due to airsickness. I'll have them find the nearest place to dock so you can rest, okay?"
The male insect was perfectly fine while riding the spaceship; Mikel never expected him to get seasick, which was completely unexpected.
Mikel wondered if he had really been too indifferent to the male insects.
Cheng Chu firmly rejected Mikel's offer: "No, don't stop, I can still hold on."
Even if he stops to rest, he will still feel dizzy when he gets back on the spaceship. Not only will the time be longer, but his discomfort will not be alleviated at all, and it will last even longer.
Cheng Chu knew that this was not their usual time; they were on the run, and the faster they got to Mikel's side, the better. Otherwise, the longer they dragged on, the greater the unpredictable changes would become.
It's just spaceship sickness; the journey is only twenty hours, it won't kill you.
"But you're sweating so much, your face is all pale, and you're vomiting so badly, I'm very worried about you," Mikel said, her blue eyes filled with concern.
Another wave of nausea washed over him. Cheng Chu swallowed hard and said weakly, "Wife, don't worry about me. I... I'll be fine after a nap."
"I won't feel bad anymore once I fall asleep. I'll see Mikel when I wake up." Cheng Chu comforted himself with this thought.
"Alright." Since the male insect was disobedient, Mikel didn't have a better solution. Looking at the male insect's already dry lips, he asked, "Master, would you like some water before you sleep?"
Cheng Chu slowly shook her head: "No."
The slightest movement of her head made her even more dizzy, and Cheng Chu swayed for a moment before becoming too afraid to move.
He doesn't want to drink anything now, and he'll vomit up any water he drinks after a while. Now that his stomach is empty, he actually feels a little better.
"Wife, I don't want to drink anything, I want to sleep." Cheng Chu placed the light screen on the metal wall inside the small bed, facing her face.
This would allow Mikel to see his face clearly, and also allow him to see Mikel's appearance more clearly.
Currently, besides following the male insect's suggestion, I can't think of a better solution. Mikel softened his voice and said, "Alright, I won't disturb you anymore, Master, go to sleep."
Thinking Mikel was about to die, Cheng Chu's eyes widened, and he rolled over to get close to the screen, pleading pitifully, "Wife, don't die, sleep with me, okay?"
"Okay, I'll stay with you." Looking at the slightly immature male insect, Mikel smiled and said, "Lie down, cover yourself with the blanket, close your eyes, I won't die."
Cheng Chu obediently lay on the pillow, pulled the blanket over herself, and turned her head to look at Mikel quietly with her dark eyes.
Mikel's voice was unusually gentle as she patiently coaxed him, "My lord, close your eyes and go to sleep. I'll stay with you."
Cheng Chu blinked and said very softly again, "No, I won't hang up."
"Okay, I won't hang up." For some reason, Mikel felt a pang of sadness as the male insect repeatedly asked her to stay with him.
Cheng Chu felt relieved after receiving Mikel's assurance. He turned over, lying on his side facing Mikel, trying hard to ignore the nausea in his chest, and slowly closed his eyes under Mikel's gentle gaze.
After all that fuss, the male insect seemed exhausted, and coupled with physical discomfort, it soon fell asleep with a furrowed brow.
