I'm transported to the Zerg world, and my female Zerg wife loves me so much.

Chapter 33: Holding Hands

Chapter 33: Holding Hands

Mikel lowered his eyes and remained silent for a long time before finally saying only, "I understand."

"Yes, General, that's all."

The call ended, and the study fell silent.

In the garden, fifteen seedlings grow tall in the wind. Their slender stems are already about five or six centimeters long, with two tender green cotyledons unfolding at the top, standing out against the yellowish-brown soil.

After a long day of work, Cheng Chu finally took photos from different angles. Following 0123's guidance, Cheng Chu installed a camera nearby to record the seedlings' growth and to facilitate later video editing.

Unfortunately, he didn't think to film it when he planted the flower seeds. But thankfully, the seeds of both fruits hadn't sprouted yet, so Cheng Chu still had time to film them breaking through the soil.

"Alright, let's go back." After confirming that the camera was stable, Cheng Chu patted the dirt off his trousers and called 0123 to walk back together.

From afar, a straight figure could be seen at the entrance. The female insect had very white skin, with intricate black patterns crawling along the left side of her neck, giving her an indescribable air of mystery. Her long, golden hair, reaching her waist, was obediently gathered behind her head, and her blue eyes were calm and serene. She seemed to radiate a gentle aura.

A hint of joy welled up in an unknown corner of Cheng Chu's heart. He grinned and jogged up to meet her.

He stopped in front of Mikel, staring at the female insect with his bright, black eyes, a wide smile playing on his lips: "Female Lord."

"Master, is it hotter outside than at home?" Mikel laughed, reaching out to take the male insect's hand, but the male insect took a step back and hid his hand behind his back, leaving Mikel with empty air.

Mikel's outstretched hand paused, his smile froze, and his beating heart seemed to fall silent for a moment.

He heard himself feign nonchalance as he asked, "My lord, what's wrong?"

The next second, Cheng Chu's voice rang out: "Female Lord, my hand is dirty, don't touch it."

As if to prove he wasn't lying, he even spread out his two palms for Mikel to see if they were really dirty.

So, it was because his hands were dirty that she wouldn't let him hold her hand. He thought the male insect knew something...

With his heart returning to its place, Mikel looked at Cheng Chu's outstretched hand and smiled again: "My lord, it's alright, it's not too dirty."

Cheng Chu disagreed: "Dirty."

He was just lying on the ground and digging in the dirt in the garden, he's covered in dirt. The Queen is clean and smells nice, so let's not get him dirty.

"Alright, you're all dirty." Mikel grabbed Cheng Chu's two dirty hands with her two clean hands, and her clean hands were instantly stained with dirt.

"Hey! You..." Cheng Chu exclaimed in surprise, and hurriedly tried to pull her hand back.

Mikel held on tightly, preventing him from pulling away: "My lord, let's go back and wash our hands together."

So that's why the female ruler wanted to hold his hand! Cheng Chu thought to himself with delight.

"it is good."

Cheng Chu and Mikel went back to wash their hands, hand in hand.

0123 was left standing there, looking completely bewildered, with a large question mark appearing on its screen.

So, should it also wash its hands?

In the afternoon, Cheng Chu practiced calligraphy in his study. The Zerg script was winding and complex, making it very difficult for Cheng Chu to learn.

Mikel took out a Zergling literacy primer and taught him word by word.

When Mikel was little, his female father simply gave him a primer for learning to read, and within half a month he had learned almost all the characters by himself. As far as Mikel knew, this was how the young insectoids were taught.

But now, Mikel is truly out of options.

He taught him word by word, step by step, but why couldn't the powerful ruler remember them?

Looking into the male insect's clear, large black eyes, Mikel couldn't help but wonder if he hadn't taught it well.

To this, Cheng Chu could only say, no! It wasn't that Mikel taught poorly; it was that he simply couldn't learn it. During his six years of schooling—three years of junior high and three years of senior high—he still hadn't mastered English.

It is clear that he truly lacks talent in languages.

He just couldn't learn it, and Cheng Chu was afraid that Mikel would think he was too stupid and be disappointed in him.

"Never mind." Mikel sighed, closed the book, and turned to walk towards the bookshelf not far from the door.

Mikel's sigh and the sound of his departing footsteps were so familiar. Cheng Chu's memories suddenly drifted back to that hot summer vacation.

Summer vacation has just started, and the teacher asked us to bring our final report cards home.

Cheng Chu was terrified because he hadn't done well on his final exams. His parents cared a lot about his grades, and they would get very angry every time he did poorly.

However, this time was different from the past; his parents did not get angry with him.

"never mind."

The father, who should have been furious, simply sighed deeply, and with a loose grip, the report card gently fluttered to the floor.

Mom said, "He's too stupid, forget it."

Then, Chengchu saw his parents leave his room one after another, and as a young child, he could only see their tall figures gradually disappearing into the distance.

Then, he was sent to his maternal grandmother's house in town. At first, he cried and fussed, wanting his parents, but his grandmother would coax him, saying that his parents would come to pick him up in a few days.

Little Chengchu would sit on the threshold of his grandmother's house every day, waiting for people and cars to come and go, but his parents were never there.

After a while, he started attending school in town. He knew that no matter how much he cried, his parents wouldn't come to pick him up, and gradually he stopped crying.

Cheng Chu panicked and jumped up, shouting, "Queen!"

Mikel walked to the bookshelf, and just as he pulled a book out, he was startled by the male insect's sudden movement. Holding the book, he stared blankly at the male insect and asked, "What's wrong, Master?"
