Chapter 198 Frieza's Fury
Chapter 198 Frieza's Fury
Hearing Dandy's words, everyone was filled with disbelief. Klin's eyes widened, and he asked again, "What did you say, Dandy?"
Dandy remained kneeling on the ground, heartbroken, and said, "Those Dragon Balls were all made by the Grand Elder. Now that the Grand Elder is dead, those..."
Before Dende could finish speaking, Vegeta charged forward like an enraged beast, grabbed Dende by the collar, and roared at him, "What did you say? Did my wish come true?"
“You…your wish…” Dandy trembled with fear and said weakly.
Before Dende could finish speaking, Vegeta understood his meaning. Instantly, Vegeta was furious, turning sharply to glare at Shang Yun, Krillin, and Gohan, his eyes practically spitting fire as he roared, "You three bastards! If you hadn't summoned Shenron behind my back, things wouldn't have turned out like this! Damn it!"
Just as Shang Yun, Krillin, and Gohan were filled with despair and closed their eyes to await Vegeta's relentless onslaught, Vegeta suddenly stopped. The three heard Vegeta's heavy breathing and couldn't help but open their eyes, only to see him trembling all over, staring straight behind them.
The three felt a chill run down their spines and slowly turned to look behind them. Instantly, terror spread across their faces. There stood Frieza on the mountain peak behind them, a cruel smile playing on his lips, his crimson eyes radiating boundless killing intent, as if he were staring at a flock of lambs to the slaughter.
"Frieza!"
Frieza's lips curled into a chilling smile, his voice as piercing as ice: "You've got some skills, haven't you? You've shattered my dream of immortality so easily. I think you bunch of fools should realize your mistake now, shouldn't you?"
Frieza looked around and said, "I don't seem to have found any Ginyu Force members. Did you guys kill them all?"
Everyone trembled uncontrollably. Frieza slowly descended, coldly saying, "However, you didn't make your final wish, and the Dragon Balls turned to stone. This is a great regret for Vegeta, and undoubtedly a loss for me as well. You are the most audacious group I have ever encountered."
"I never expected things to turn out this way!" Frieza's eyes widened in fury, his fists clenched so tightly his knuckles turned white. He gritted his teeth and said, each word distinct, "You... are unforgivable!"
"You lowly creatures, how dare you utterly enrage me! Now prepare to die!" Frieza roared, unleashing a terrifying aura around him.
Upon hearing this, everyone's expression changed drastically, and they scattered to the left and right. Only Vegeta stood firmly in place, a disdainful smile on his lips, and snorted coldly: "Hmph, if you still think you can easily defeat me, I advise you to give up that idea as soon as possible."
Frieza, instead of getting angry, laughed. "Hmph, I thought you'd say something earth-shattering, but it seems you've long forgotten my power. Well then, let me give you a good recollection!" With that, Frieza's aura surged, and a powerful force erupted, forming a blinding wave of light. Under the impact of this force, the surrounding earth shattered like fragile glass, and chunks of stone defied gravity, slowly floating into the air.
The entire planet Namek trembled violently under Frieza's power. Gohan was filled with shock, his voice trembling as he exclaimed, "Wow...that's amazing!"
Klin was equally frightened, stammering, "I never expected him to be so powerful!"
Although Shang Yun was filled with overwhelming fear, he forced himself to remain calm and kept reciting the Heart Sutra in his mind in an attempt to dispel his fear and calm himself down.
……
Piccolo was flying at full speed towards Frieza's location, Frieza's aura surging towards him like a tidal wave. Piccolo's heart skipped a beat: "Such a powerful aura, this guy's strength has increased again!"
Suddenly, Piccolo sensed a faint presence to his left. He immediately changed direction and pounced, thinking to himself, "Could it be Gohan?"
Piccolo landed steadily, his gaze fixed on the figure lying on the ground before him. He muttered to himself, "He looks so much like me. Could this be a Namekian?"
By this time, Nail no longer had the strength to stand up, but he forced himself to speak with difficulty: "You...you must be the Namekian they were talking about, right? That's great, their wish...is finally going to come true."
Piccolo raised an eyebrow slightly, a hint of surprise in his expression. "Oh? I didn't expect you to know so much. But I'm really sorry, I have to go save them right now, I really don't have time to help you." With that, Piccolo turned to leave.
Neru's breath was weak, and each word seemed to be squeezed out from between his teeth as he said with difficulty, "Truly...truly amazing, such a...such a pity."
Bick paused, filled with doubt, and couldn't help but turn back to look at Neru.
Then, Neru spoke up, "I don't know how you cultivated, but I can clearly sense that there is a powerful force hidden within you. And because of that, it's...it's such a pity."
Bick snorted coldly, but said nothing more, nor did he fly away immediately; he simply stood quietly in place.
Nail was barely breathing, but he managed to say in broken sentences, "As long as... as long as we can merge back into a complete Namekian, there is hope of defeating Frieza."
Piccolo was shocked upon hearing this, his face filled with disbelief. He exclaimed in astonishment, "What did you say? You mean I have to merge with God again to have any chance of defeating Frieza?"
Naru nodded with difficulty, his voice weak but firm: "Yes, I just fought Frieza not long ago, and I know all too well how terrifying his power is. With our current strength, we are no match for him at all. Merging is the only way."
After hearing this, Piccolo scoffed disdainfully, "Hmph, don't get any ideas! There's absolutely no way I could merge with that old geezer, Celestial."
Naru paused for a moment, a hint of disappointment flashing in his eyes, but hope quickly returned, and he said eagerly, "Then... then merge with me! I am the last combat-type Namekian on this planet, and I should be able to increase your power several times over."
Bick frowned, his expression conflicted, and after a long silence, he slowly spoke: "Your suggestion is indeed very tempting, but I just want to be myself. I don't want my personality to be assimilated by you."
Neru was slightly taken aback: "Heh, I didn't expect you to be so arrogant."
