Chapter 212 Safe Return to the Humble Abode
Chapter 212 Safe Return to the Humble Abode
"Let's go, it seems there really is no one here." The guy who spoke so nicely is still here; he really was just trying to trick us.
Another sound came from outside, but Harry and I remained hidden.
We hid in the shadows, waiting for the people who would come looking for us.
"Harry, Ayers, are you there?" I finally heard someone call my name, and Harry and I stepped out of the shadows.
“Mr. Weasley, we’re here.” Mr. Weasley said, seeing that he had brought people from the Ministry of Magic to find us.
"Thank goodness, you're both alright." Mr. Weasley was sweating with anxiety; thankfully, we're both safe.
“Then come with us. It seems there are only the two of you left here,” said one of the Ministry of Magic members who had come with Mr. Weasley.
“Okay, let’s leave here first, it’s not safe here,” another Ministry of Magic official said.
"Let's go." Mr. Weasley produced a Portkey, and we were teleported away.
"Interesting, is that Harry Potter? The other one is also very interesting." However, after we left, we didn't notice anyone else nearby; the man with the pleasant voice hadn't left.
As soon as we were teleported out, Hermione and Ron went to Harry's side and asked him if he was hurt or in danger.
"Ron, Hermione, I'm fine. Senior Ayers protected me, I wasn't hurt." Harry knew his friends were worried about him, so he told them he was alright.
"It's good that you're alright." Ron and Hermione said in unison, then glanced at each other and looked away.
"Ayers, are you alright?" The same thing happened to me, just like Harry.
Fred and George were checking me over to see if I was hurt, and Percy was expressing his concern directly.
I don't know why Cedric and Oliver came along too, and I was completely surrounded.
"Alright, it's nothing. Don't you guys believe in my abilities?" He grabbed the two hands that were messing with him.
He gave Percy a reassuring look, and then gave Cedric and Oliver a comforting look as well.
"It's good that you're alright. We'll head back to our families now." Cedric said, seeing that I wasn't hurt, and then prepared to go back to his family.
“Yes, I’m going back to my family too. They’ll be worried if they can’t find me, Ayers. We’ll keep in touch by letter later.” Oliver was also planning to leave; he didn’t want his family to worry.
"Go ahead, go ahead, I'm fine. I'll invite you to my house next time." I smiled and reassured them.
“Let’s go home then. It’s not safe here right now.” Mr. Weasley had just spoken to his colleague and now felt it was best to go home first; this place was really too dangerous.
“Okay.” Everyone thought the suggestion was good, so they picked up their luggage and followed Mr. Weasley away.
The next morning, our group finally returned to the Burrow. Mrs. Weasley, who was waiting for us at home, was relieved to see that we had all returned home safely.
The first thing I did upon returning to my humble abode was to send a letter to Severus, who was at his villa, to let him know I was safe. With such a big event happening at the Quidditch World Cup, how could the newspapers not report it?
Just as I suspected, when Severus woke up and was having breakfast, he saw the newspaper handed to him by Butler Chen and almost put on his robe and headed straight for the Burrow. Luckily, the letter I sent back was delivered to him by an owl.
After he finished reading the letter in his hand, he calmly sat down and continued drinking the coffee on the table.
"Master Snape, would you like more coffee?" Butler Chen stood beside Severus, holding a coffee pot, ready to refill Severus's coffee at any time.
"No need, Butler Chen. Ayers said he might bring guests back in a couple of days, so he asked you to get ready." Severus saw in my letter that I mentioned bringing the Weasleys from Gryffindor to stay for a few days before heading to school, so he told Butler Chen to tidy up the house.
“Yes, Master Snape, I will arrange it.” Butler Chen bowed at a 45-degree angle and then withdrew to make the arrangements.
Severus took the letter back to his alchemy room, picked up his quill, and began writing a reply to me.
I received his letter after I had just woken up in Percy's bed.
Since we all rushed back in the early hours of the morning and didn't get back to our humble abode until early this morning, we were all up all night. So everyone took a shower and went to sleep to catch up on their sleep after we got back.
Everyone ate breakfast while still feeling weak, then took a shower and went straight to sleep.
When we woke up, it was almost dinnertime.
Percy woke up a little earlier than me. He got ready and went downstairs to get a glass of water. Then he saw my owl carrying a letter, so he took the letter and went back to his room to see if I was awake.
When I opened my eyes, Percy was sitting at the bedside table, reading a book.
“You’re awake? I have a letter for you here.” Percy saw me open my eyes and look at him, so he picked up the letter and handed it to me.
"Percy, do you have any more vacation days? Or are you going to work at the Ministry of Magic right away?" I asked Percy as I read the letter.
“There are still two days of holiday left. I took a few days off this time, thinking that I could watch the Quidditch World Cup with you guys and then have some time to spend with you. What’s up? Do you have any plans?” Percy looked up from his book and at me, who had just woken up and was still sitting on the bed.
"I'm planning to take you to my villa for a few days tomorrow." Having just read the letter, I know that Severus, in order not to interfere with me playing with these little lions, plans to go back to his house early to pack his things, and then go straight to the school, intending to see me there.
"Isn't Professor Snape here too? Won't we bother him if we go over?" Percy didn't have any particular feelings towards Severus; with a top student like him, Severus couldn't possibly cause him any trouble.
"He plans to go home and pack his things first, and then we'll see each other at Hogwarts." I pulled back the covers and got up to tidy up so I could go down for dinner later.
"Is that so? Then that might be very good news for my brothers." Percy knew his brothers best.
When we were having dinner, I brought it up, and they were all overjoyed. They even told me to write to Cedric and Oliver to invite them too.
Of course, I also wrote to them to invite them to come and play. Cedric replied immediately after receiving the letter, saying he would come, while Oliver said he had one more day of vacation and would arrive as promised.
After dinner, we all slept for the whole day, and as a result, we were all very energetic.
Bored, we played Werewolf in the Wizarding World until late at night before leaving to go to sleep.
