"Okay, let's wait a little longer."
"It looks like he's about to use that move."
Steel Fang originally intended to do that, but the demonic power being extracted from his body foreshadowed Cú Chulainn releasing his Noble Phantasm.
With such a level of absorption, it certainly wasn't the "Piercing Thorn Spear" that was previously used to specifically target the heart.
Instead, it's the "Piercing Death Spear" used for large-scale bombing!
Considering the situation Cú Chulainn is facing, it would most likely worsen Naraku's already compromised health, a scenario Koga would be happy to see.
Who knows, it might give Naraku a big surprise?
"That place should be in the Suiya Valley to the west."
"It's a bit far."
"By the time we get there, Naraku will have already escaped."
Miroku, Sango, and Shippo were trying to recall the location they had just seen and guess where Naraku was hiding.
"We'll have to look for another opportunity."
.........
The spreading magic completely enveloped the surroundings, and the conspicuous red light illuminated the pitch-black flesh.
Dodging the oncoming tentacles, Cú Chulainn leaped high into the air.
Under the astonished gazes of Naraku and the Shikon Jewel, he hurled the red demonic spear.
"Gae Bolg!"
The demonic spear, imbued with unstoppable power, hurtled downwards, causing everything in its path—tentacles and flesh—to crumble upon it.
"Whoosh!!"
"boom!!!"
With lightning speed, the demonic spear struck Naraku in the head, causing an astonishing roar and explosion. The Shikon Jewel beside him was also engulfed by the powerful residual force.
"Boom!!"
PS:
I'll send out a notification when it's available for purchase.
I'll explain the rules then, and I hope everyone will take a look.
Chapter 98 Remarks on the launch!
It will be available for purchase tomorrow (the 13th). The readers who have followed it this far have faith in my writing skills and the plot.
As mentioned before, the story in Volume 2 will be much slower than Volume 1, and even the pacing and atmosphere will be different. However, this is due to the relationship between the Masters. This volume has not yet reached its climax, and I will still give it a suitable ending later.
The reason they crave the Dragon Balls is because they want to make a wish, and to get the Dragon Balls, they need to interact with other people.
Combat is not the only means or method.
This book is based on the story of "people meeting each other", and it is not only "battle (tatak)" that can solve everything.
If all you really want is an electronic cricket fighting game, then just throw in a main character to act as a shill and show off.
But that would be too boring and uninteresting for me.
To be honest, I think the stories that unfold when people with different ideas and aspirations come together are more interesting.
To deduce and perform the story after their encounter, there is no need for so-called "protagonists," because the summoned Servants and the chosen Masters are themselves "protagonists."
The winner gets the Dragon Balls and fulfills their wish—that's the greatest reward and the most irresistible prize. Even the loser can learn something from the experience; at worst, they can live to go back and try again to be summoned next time.
Whether it's forming an alliance, seizing power by force, or one person defeating six other masters and servants, different worldviews lead to different approaches.
As for constantly using characters that are clearly beyond their capabilities, just indulge in wishful thinking.
It's impossible for me to put Conan, who is "Assassin," on one side, Vegeta, who is "Berserker," on the other side, and Doraemon, who is "Rider," under the other.
A story without any suspense is boring to write. Characters like Madoka and Zeno are unlikely to appear in the story.
If the residual force of a fight can shatter the Earth and the universe, then what's the point of watching?
Okay, now that we've talked about that, let's get down to business and discuss the rules and procedures after the product is listed.
First, the daily minimum of three chapters will be restored! (This was the case for my last completed book, and it remained unchanged until the end.)
The rule for extra chapters (starting tomorrow, the 13th):
1. 1 chapter for every 300 monthly passes
2. 1 chapter for every 10000 Qidian coins donated (most people will probably use monthly tickets, but the wealthy can use the latter).
3. Just a side note: the book will be available tomorrow, and there will be an extra chapter based on the number of first-time subscribers (1 chapter for every 1000 first-time subscribers). This is a one-day "event," so please give it your all tomorrow.
If you like it, keep watching!
Group number: 478220028 (Welcome to join and exchange ideas, but personal attacks and inciting conflict are prohibited.)
Chapter 99: Your life is running out! (Please subscribe)
"Ptooey!"
The impact from the overly enclosed space sent Cú Chulainn flying against the flesh wall.
The violent roar destroyed everything around it; the obvious explosions were far beyond what the interior could withstand.
And just at that moment, Cú Chulainn disappeared before he could suffer even greater damage.
.........
"Come to me, Lancer!"
Steel Fang also used the so-called Command Seal at the appropriate time to summon Cú Chulainn back.
"Uh!"
"Are you OK?"
Seeing Cú Chulainn roll around a few times and fall to the ground covered in dust, looking disheveled, Kagome immediately ran over and squatted down to show her concern.
"What a gentle lady."
"Don't worry, it's just a minor impact, nothing serious."
Hearing the other person's gentle words, Cú Chulainn's bad mood eased considerably, and he jumped up in a somersault.
"How was it? Did that guy get hit?"
Steel Fang crossed his arms and looked at Cú Chulainn, asking a question.
Judging from Lancer's confident expression, it certainly wasn't a weak move.
"Hmm? If it were an ordinary Master, they would definitely be dead and torn to pieces."
"But I can't guarantee anything about that guy."
"Moreover, there was a jet-black jade next to him. That jade was very strange and had the aura of the Master."
Cú Chulainn's answer surprised everyone, including Miroku.
"Jade?"
"The Shikon Jewel?"
"Could it be."
Their expressions changed; Kagome, Rikuo, Miroku, and Sango all considered that possibility.
"Does this ritual select not only humans and monsters?"
"Could the Shikon Jewel also become a Master?"
Steel Fang was stunned, then looked puzzled, realizing that he had the same thought as Kagome and the others.
"Kagome, Koga, Rin, Naraku, the Shikon Jewel."
"Now there are five."
"Who are the other two?"
Qibao counted the information he had gathered on his fingers and asked curiously.
(The Shikon Jewel and Naraku are clearly the initial enemies.)
(The identities of the remaining two are unknown)
Lu Sheng was also quite concerned about the two groups that had been silent for a long time.
If it's someone Kagome knows, that's fine; but if it's someone she's an enemy, then she'll have to consider forming an alliance.
Fortunately, the Masters named Koga and Rin are all familiar with their own people, so they shouldn't make things difficult for each other.
Rikuo also found it strange that none of the Masters seemed particularly "moved" by the Dragon Balls, which could grant wishes.
