Kacie
My head throbbed painfully. I opened my eyes and as the sunlight hit me, a spark went through my head. I groaned and grabbed my temple. I tried to speak but my throat was dry and came out in tremors. I needed water but the bed was too warm to leave.
My headache is so painful, I close my eyes. I strain to remember what happened last night. I’m drawing up blank and my head hurts the more I try to recall last night’s events. I remember going to the club with Jake and Jamie but after a few drinks, I’m not sure what happened next.
Think.
Think. Think.
Snippets of last night start to flash through my mind like a movie. Music, shots that burned my throat, and a hard body pressed against mine. There was a moment when I remember having to go to the bathroom. Another moment when I heard a voice in the stall and sounds. And then the moment when I was dancing with Jake on the dance floor. Was that in order?
The memories of last night slip through my fingers like water. I can’t grasp them and I can’t order them either. I don’t remember leaving the club and I don’t know how I came home. I tried and failed at swallowing the lump in my throat. I felt weak and tired, even though I just woke.
I woke up this morning so that’s a good thing. It’s not like I didn’t trust Beta to keep me safe if things went out of hand. Someone groaned next to me and I froze. Wait, did Viktor come home in the middle of the night? Memories of last night flood in as I remember waking up to him in bed.
I automatically relaxed and turned to him. I buried my head into his chest and inhaled. Lifting my hand, I slid it up to his arm and stopped. If this was Viktor, why wasn’t my hand tingling? With cautious fingers, I put my hand on the side of him and slowly raised myself up. I lifted my head up and bit down on my lip to stop the yelp that threatened to spill. Beneath me, lay Jake.
My arms shook and I tried to move as carefully as possible, away from him. In an instant, he was on me, between my thighs, a hand on both sides of my head. I could barely breathe as he stared down at me. He stared at me and blinked his eyes multiple times in disbelief. I watched as he realized he wasn’t sleeping and that I wasn’t an enemy.
“Oh, shit,” he said as he sat up.
“I-I,” I stuttered as his thickening cock pressed against my core. I was at a loss for words as I tried to figure out why the hell Jake was in my bed. If Viktor wasn’t here that meant Viktor wasn’t with me last night. Tears filled my eyes and ran down my cheeks as I stared up at Jake.
Jake stayed there for a moment, Jake draped over me, and I below him. His eyes took in my tears and he wrapped his arms underneath me and cradled me to his chest as his full weight crashed down on me.
“Sh-sh,” he murmured. “It’s okay.”
Sobs wracked my body as my night with Viktor turned into a night with Jake. I dry humped him like a fucking teenager. Oh, Goddess. I came on him and he came in his pants because of me. My chest heaved as I realized what I’d done. I’d practically fucked him. I’d cheated on Viktor.

Jake
It had been a while since I’d been so relaxed. I normally slept alone. I’d fuck a woman and go home. It wasn’t like me to take someone home with me. I’d never gone to bed with one, so when I felt someone touch me, I’d reacted on instinct.
Jason and I reacted on instinct. I had the woman pinned beneath me without a second thought. She didn’t put up much of a fight and I had her secured. Her face came into focus and I realized I had my Luna defenseless beneath me. Everything that happened last night slammed into me.
“Oh, shit,” I cursed. I prayed she didn’t feel me hardened at the sight of her trapped and at my mercy. I let her go and sat up instantly. She looked up at me, shock etched her features and I knew she was putting all the pieces together.
“I-I,” she stuttered. Her eyes widened as she realized what I knew she would. Tears sprang to her eyes and her chin trembled as the floodgates broke free. I never meant for this to happen. I never meant to hurt her or Viktor.
Without a second thought, I wrapped her up in my arms. The overwhelming need to protect and soothe her forced me to act. I pull her close to my chest and tell her it’s going to be okay. I don’t know how but I’d stand by my promise; I’d make sure she’s okay. I would take responsibility for what happened last night. It had been my fault. It was all my doing.
The sound of keys jingling caused both of us to freeze. Her tears stopped flowing and her sobs lodged in her throat. The only one with a key other than the two of us was Viktor. Both of our heads slowly turned towards the doors as the bolt slid free. Her hands trembled as the knob slowly turned.
I sat up and pulled Kacie up to a sitting position; her legs folded beneath her. I turned to face who was on the other end of the door. I swallowed my fear and straightened my back. I let out a breath and braced myself as the door opened slowly.
The door opened and Alpha stood in the doorway. “Viktor?” Luna whispered from my side.
