Chapter 33: Defend Your Feelings And Emotions

Chapter 33: Defend Your Feelings And Emotions

Approaching Agatha with apprehension, Tony pleaded, "Please, Agatha, don't make any sudden moves. I don't want anyone to get hurt."

Ignoring his warning, Agatha, consumed by anger, brandished the gun and warned, "Stay back, Tony, or I'll shoot."

Despite Agatha's threats, Tony's concern for her safety outweighed his fear. Deep down, he still cared for her, even after all the lies and deceit. He couldn't bear the thought of her coming to harm at the hands of Mr. Singers.

With determination, Tony took another step forward, prompting Agatha to scream in fury and lash out at Andrea, who lay defenseless on the floor.

"Agatha!" Tony cried out as he watched in horror as Agatha's attack caused Andrea to cry out in pain.

Shocked by Agatha's callous actions toward pregnant Andrea, Tony's expression turned to one of disbelief. He never imagined Agatha capable of such cruelty.

Gathering his thoughts, Tony took a deep breath before speaking, his disappointment evident in his voice. "Agatha, hurting others won't make Mr. Singers love you. It will only push him further away. Do you truly believe this is the way to win his affection? Is this the person you want to become in his eyes? Do you know who Andrea is to him?"

Tony had made the difficult decision to finally reveal the truth to Agatha, hoping it would be the key to helping her regain her senses and escape with him.

Unfortunately, Mr. Singers had just arrived at the block a few minutes ago. Stepping out of his car, he entered the block with a large group of armed men.

Agatha's emotions overflowed as she cried out, tears streaming down her face. "I don't care who she is! She took everything from me," she exclaimed, her voice filled with pain.

Lifting her gun, she continued, "I love Mr. Singers so much. Why can't he love me back? Why did he choose that fat, ugly woman over me?"

"Because Andrea is his daughter!" Tony yelled in frustration, shocked by Agatha's actions. He hadn't expected her to act so recklessly.

Agatha's eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at Tony. Suddenly, a crazed laughter escaped her lips. "Tony, that's a good one! Do you think I'm foolish enough to believe such a ridiculous lie?" she said mockingly.

Agatha suspected that Tony was deceiving her in order to secure Andrea's release.

Before Tony could utter another word, a deep voice inquired from behind him, "Is she worth it?"

As Tony turned around, he laid eyes on Mr. Singers standing at the doorway. Despite his stoic expression, Tony, a seasoned hitman, could sense the ominous aura emanating from him. "Is she worth your betrayal? Does she comprehend your true emotions for her?" Mr. Singers questioned.

Agatha's eyes sparkled with delight as she interjected, "Mr. Singers, I have been anticipating your arrival."

Mr. Singers diverted his attention from Tony and directed his gaze at Andrea, who lay bound on the floor, visibly suffering. Witnessing her in such agony shattered his heart, and his impassive facade crumpled with sorrow.

His eyes ablaze with fury, Mr. Singers fixed a piercing glare on Agatha. "Why did you hurt her?" he demanded menacingly.

When Agatha realized that Mr. Singers was showing affection to Andrea before her, her madness seemed to amplify. She screamed hysterically, "Why do you love her? Why her and not me? Am I not more beautiful than her? Am I not more intelligent? Haven't I proven my worth to you?"

Mr. Singers' expression darkened as he despised the assumption that he was obligated to love the most attractive woman.

"Agatha, do you really want to know why I chose her over you?" Mr. Singers snapped in frustration, tired of their misconceptions.

"Yes, tell me!" Agatha shrieked while glaring at Mr. Singers with tear-filled, bloodshot eyes.

Stepping closer, Mr. Singers said, "Her husband divorced her, but she didn't reach for a kitchen knife to end him."

Agatha's eyes widened in shock at Mr. Singer's words, as he took another step closer to her. "She caught him cheating with his mistress on their wedding bed," Mr. Singer continued. "Do you know what Andrea did? She forgave him. She didn't cause a scene like you would have."

"No, no! You're lying!" Agatha shook her head in disbelief.

"If she caught her husband cheating like that, she would have taken drastic action," she said, her voice filled with anger.

Mr. Singer scoffed and moved even closer. "She was pressured to sign the divorce papers, and she did so. Despite investing fifty million dollars into Val. Corp, she didn't take a penny from the adulterous couple. Could you do the same for someone you love?"

Agatha stepped back, shocked by the question. It made her doubt herself. She shook her head, unable to imagine ever making such a sacrifice.

"Agatha, you are just selfish, wanting everything but unwilling to give in return. Do you believe I owe you my heart? Do you believe I owe you my love? Do you truly see yourself as the one instead of her? What have you done to deserve the things you feel entitled to?" Mr. Singers questioned, drawing closer.

Agatha was taken aback, reflecting on her selfish ways.

She thought back to the day Mr. Singers had adopted her from the orphanage, his words echoing in her mind: "Agatha, I promise to raise you into an exceptional woman, to provide you with everything, but you can never be my daughter or my lover."

As the memories flooded in, her eyes dulled, and she clutched her head, letting out a scream of frustration, "No! No!"

Mr. Singers glanced at her, shaking his head. He swiftly lifted Andrea from the floor and handed him to one of his men, who promptly carried Andrea to the hospital.

As Agatha showed signs of mental instability, Mr. Singers' men swiftly moved to disarm her.

Rolling up his sleeves, Mr. Singers locked eyes with Agatha, who stared back in a daze, muttering incomprehensibly. "Agatha, I shaped you, and I will also bring you to an end," he said.

With his finger poised on the trigger, he aimed the gun at Agatha.
