Destined by One Night: The CEO's Pursuit

Chapter 108

Chapter 108

"Mom, I'm going to take a bath." Dominic stood up, glanced at Malcolm, and said, "Good night, Malcolm."

"Good night!" Malcolm replied with a smile. But he didn't want to leave.

Dominic gave him a deep look before walking to the bathroom.

Malcolm sat quietly, showing no sign of leaving.

Suddenly, there were sounds from his belly.

He looked at Marilyn awkwardly and Marilyn looked at him in shock. Why hadn't he eaten yet?

Was he coming here to have dinner?

"I..."

"You..."

They spoke at the same time.

Malcolm looked at her and said in a pleasant voice, "Lynn, you say first."

Marilyn glanced at his belly and asked, "Mr. Lowe, haven't you had dinner?"

"No!" Malcolm nodded. This question was exactly what he had been expecting.

He didn't feel hungry when waiting for news from Julian.

Now his stomach sold him out. But the rumble came at the right time, giving him another excuse to stay.

"Then you..."

"Lynn, make me something to eat. I just got off work and forgot to eat." It was a wonderful excuse! Now he had more time to stay with her.

He had been looking for her for more than ten years. Fortunately, he found her in the most beautiful years of his life.

Although the waiting was painful, he received a good result.

He thought, "Lynn, thank you for coming back like this.

Lynn looked like a strong career woman when she worked, but she behaved like a child in daily life, gentle and cheerful, just like when she was little.

Especially when she was with Roland and the kids, the smile on her face was very sunny.

Marilyn looked at him awkwardly and said, "I only have noodles at home now."

"Then I'll eat noodles." Malcolm looked at her quietly.

No wonder he felt that her eyes were very familiar when the first time he saw her.

It turned out that her big bright eyes had long been put in the depths of his soul, mixing with his bone. That was why he felt them so familiar.

Marilyn nodded reluctantly and got up. Since he had already said so, how could she say no?

Perhaps all women in Fielddell wanted to cook for him!

But she didn't.

This man must be born to torture her.

From the first day she met him, she was involved in his bad things.

"Wait for a while. I'll go cook the noodles." After Marilyn finished speaking, she walked toward the open kitchen.

As Malcolm looked at her back, the corners of his lips curved up. She had always been very kind. The world had let her down, but that didn't change her kindness.

Looking at the busy figures in the kitchen, he felt satisfied and happy.

He calmly took out his phone, turned on the video, and recorded her.

From the video, he could see gorgeous luster emitting from the faint smile on her red lips.

When the water on the induction cooker boiled, she took out a handful of noodles and put them into the pot.

She stood there and waited, watching all the noodles slide into the pot. Then she walked to the refrigerator and took out a tomato and two eggs.

She bought them when she went to the supermarket last time.

She took the kitchen knife and the chopping board from the knife rack, washed the tomato, and then began to chop. Malcolm recorded everything she was doing.

It's said that one would find his beloved girl the most beautiful one when she was cooking for him in the kitchen. Now he found it was true.

He wore a gentle smile throughout the recording. He smiled much more than he had done in the past ten years.

Dominic came out without making much sound. He squinted slightly when he saw Malcolm recording his mother.

What was Malcolm trying to do?

Although they looked definitely like father and son, the way Malcolm treated his mother was weird.

A bang came. Dominic deliberately knocked on the door. Only then did Malcolm realize that Dominic was here. He quickly saved the video and put the phone on the coffee table.

He turned around and was slightly relieved to see that Dominic was changing his shoes.

He was too engrossed just now. Fortunately, Dominic didn't see that.

Seeing Dominic come out, Marilyn said, "Dominic, get a cup of hot water and dry your hair. Don't catch a cold."

"Okay, mom!" Dominic returned to the table, poured a cup of hot water, and drained some.

He gave a strange look to Malcolm who was smiling and turned back to the bathroom to dry his hair.

Malcolm looked at his little back and felt a little distressed. What a good kid!

His behavior was just like an adult's, very sweet. Arturo was also a good boy, but he was more outgoing.

Deep inside Malcolm's heart, there was an indescribable emotion emerging.

At this time, Marilyn had already cooked noodles. It was tomato and egg noodles, which took only a little time.

She served the noodles and placed them in front of Malcolm. "Mr. Lowe, they are tomato and egg noodles. Get some to meet your needs." Her tone was indifferent, even carrying a sense of alienation and courtesy.

"Alright! But are there really only noodles?" Malcolm looked at her, his eyes unfathomable.

Marilyn suddenly raised her eyebrows and looked at him, "Malcolm, it's at night. At least you have noodles to eat. You should feel happy! Don't be so picky. Eat quickly and go back to your house." She looked at him with a cold face. His insatiable desire had worn down her.

"I am indeed very happy!" He gave her a gentle smile and lowered his head to eat the noodles.

Marilyn was stunned by the gentle smile and somewhat touched by his words.

She narrowed her eyes slightly. There was something wrong with Malcolm. He was overacting!

Marilyn looked at Malcolm, who was enjoying the noodles.

She had always been a good cook. When she was in the Chambers family, other family members would never wait for her to eat together, and the servants would not leave her meals.

So she had to cook for herself every time she went home. Gradually, she became a good cook.

After having babies, she spent a lot of time learning to cook.

Malcolm really liked the noodles. The ravioli she prepared the last time was very delicious, but the noodles were more than that.

He looked very satisfied, but Marilyn was confused.

Suddenly, Marilyn's phone rang. She took a look and saw that it was from her mother. She glanced at Malcolm and said, "I'll answer the phone."

With that, she walked over to the kitchen to answer it.

Malcolm looked up at her back. Who was it? Why did she make it so mysterious?

Was it Roland again?

Malcolm slightly retracted his gaze. Suddenly, he spotted a box under the transparent table. There was no cover on it. He could see that inside was a platinum famous watch. He found it somewhat familiar.
