Destined by One Night: The CEO's Pursuit

Chapter 107

Chapter 107

"Interesting..." Julian smiled and continued, "Malcolm, I have never seen you smile like this since we know each other. It's beautiful."

Malcolm looked at him, raised his eyebrows slightly, and explained patiently, "Julian, you don't understand. Lynn gives me a lot of happiness, so strong that I want her so much. She only belongs to me."

That was true. She had always belonged to him.

They met each other under such circumstances seven years ago and had a baby, a representation of their love.

But at that time, he didn't recognize her. He really regretted it.

She had to suffer for seven years!

He thought, "Lynn, I will make it up for you for the rest of my life."

The soft wind blew in from the window, very comfortable.

Malcolm was brimming with happiness, very relaxed.

Marilyn said goodbye to Roland after dinner and then headed back home.

The yellowish street lamp was on her face, on which there was an innocent smile. It was a smile that no one could look away from when they saw it.

The simple suit fully showed her graceful shape.

Dominic looked up and found that the lights in many houses were on.

The night sky was very bright tonight. Now the lights of thousands of houses answered the stars in the sky.

He glanced at his mother and saw her bright face. He also smiled and said, "Mom, you are very happy whenever you are with Uncle Roland."

He found that Marilyn's smile was very warm, just like the rising sun, which could warm his body.

People found their anger disappear when they saw her smile.

Uncle Roland told him that Marilyn's smile was very infectious and could give people positive energy.

Marilyn smiled and nodded. "Dominic, in my entire life, the people I owe the most are Roland and Jeannie. They are the ones who have contributed to our happy life. You must remember this when you grow up."

Dominic nodded, "Mom, don't worry. You have always told us that we need to be grateful. The three of us will remember their kindness."

Marilyn smiled and nodded. They chatted all the way home. "Dominic, it's the weekend tomorrow. I don't need to work. I'll show you the new house. I like it very much."

"Mom, is the money enough?" Dominic was a little worried.

Marilyn frowned, thought for a moment, and said, "Dominic, don't worry. I will check it in the bank tomorrow. If it is not enough, we can get a loan first. I will work hard and pay it back in a few years."

"OK!" Dominic nodded. Arturo said that he had made enough money over the past six months, but it seemed that Marilyn had not checked it.

Malcolm had walked on the road several times to completely suppress the excitement in his heart. He then took a shower before going to see Marilyn and Dominic.

Now he was standing at the door of Marilyn's apartment, with a lot of things he had bought. He frowned slightly when hearing their conversation.

The housing prices in Fielddell had always been high. But how could he help Lynn?

Marilyn had just reached the fifth floor when she looked up and saw Malcolm standing at the door of her house.

The dim light at the top of the stairs didn't hide the domineering aura from his tall figure. The corners of his mouth curled into a warm smile as he quietly looked at them.

She was very surprised and asked, "Mr. Lowe, why are you here?"

Why could she always see him?

What exactly was wrong with him?

Malcolm gently stared at her surprised little face. Her eyes were as bright as when she was little. No wonder he felt a sense of familiarity when he first met her.

He thought, "Lynn, it's me.

I'm Malcolm. Have you forgotten everything?"

"Lynn, I came to see Dominic. Sorry that I didn't have time to treat him to a meal." Malcolm found an excuse.

Knowing the truth, he just wanted to see her as soon as possible.

Marilyn frowned, silent.

"Hello, Mr. Lowe!" Dominic also greeted him.

Malcolm looked at him and smiled. "Dominic, you did not call me like that. Why do you call me Mr. Lowe now?"

In fact, he wanted Dominic to call him Dad, but now it was not the right time.

He could take them home a few months later.

The home belonged to them.

Lynn liked glass rooms, and rooms on the top floor of his villa were exactly glass ones.

Now he finally realized that as long as he moved in the right direction, he would be closer to happiness, even if it was a hard journey.

"Because you are my mother's boss." Dominic's tone was indifferent. So was his handsome face.

Malcolm smiled. "Dominic, just call me Malcolm from now on."

Dominic nodded but said nothing.

Marilyn walked up to him and took out the key to open the door.

Malcolm took a step back. He followed them in after the door was open, with those stuff in his hands.

He went to the supermarket to buy a lot of things with Julian, which was an excuse for his coming to see her. Otherwise, he would not be able to sleep tonight.

He put the things on the tea table and said, "Lynn, I'm here to see you. Have you recovered?"

In fact, it was the happiest day of his life. He came over just to tell her that she was Lynn, the girl he had been looking for for more than ten years.

However, he could not say it now.

Yvonne, that vicious woman, would definitely hurt Marilyn and Dominic if she knew the truth.

He had escaped death again and again to find evidence. He would put them in jail when the right time arrived.

Marilyn gave him a glass of water and smiled. "Mr. Lowe, I am much better now. Thank you for coming to see me."

"Lynn, it's nothing." His gaze followed her all the time, with an emotion that Marilyn could not understand.

Perhaps few people could see through such a deep and unfathomable man.

Malcolm looked up at Dominic who was sitting at the side, asking, "Dominic, what do you want to do tomorrow?"

Dominic glanced at his mother and replied, "See the new house with my mom."

Malcolm nodded, looked at Marilyn, and said, "Lynn, I'm free tomorrow. Shall I go with you? If you need interior design, I can recommend to you a professional team..."

"Mr. Lowe, thank you for your kindness. But there is no need. The house is quite good." Marilyn interrupted him with a smile.

She didn't know what was wrong with Malcolm.

She had a feeling that he was deliberately being nice to her!

Even though she found it was impossible, she couldn't explain all this.

Moreover, with three children to raise, she couldn't afford the design.

"Alright!" Malcolm lowered his eyes slightly and restrained the disappointment in his eyes.
