Revenge with My Quadruplets

Chapter 141

Chapter 141

Charlotte, however, lowered her eyes and laughed out loud.

In the light of Ben's gloomy eyes, she raised her lips into a bright smile and said, "You have to give me time to think about it, right?"

Ben lost his concentration for a moment, almost blinded by her smile. He couldn't help swallowing hard and said a little eagerly, "How long do you need to think about it?"

"One night?" Charlotte tilted her head innocently and said, "One night to consider your offer isn't too much to ask, is it?"

Ben smiled. "Good! I'll wait for your answer in the morning. I'm sure you'll think it over carefully."

After saying this, he strode away.

Behind him, Sherry was so angry she almost rushed up to confront him.

"Creepy man! Pervert! How can he be like this?" Sherry stomped her feet and turned back to Charlotte, fuming. "Charlotte! Are you stupid? How could you even consider saying yes?"

"I'm still considering it," Charlotte said, looking at Sherry's eager expression. She couldn't help but laugh and tease her.

"You're really going to consider it?! Don't tell me you're actually planning to give up Kingsley for this shameless Ben!"

"How could I?" Charlotte laughed, her eyes narrowing slightly as she said lightly, "I just need a night to get rid of these troubles, right?"

Saying that, she took out her cell phone and dialed a number, her expression becoming stern.

"Charlotte, who are you calling?" Sherry asked curiously.

"I'm calling my brother Aaron," Charlotte said, "to get him to help me take care of this problem."

It occurred to Charlotte that with Aaron's computer hacking skills, deleting the photos remotely should be easy for him.

"Aaron?" Sherry winked. "The one who's extraordinarily handsome but doesn't seem very trustworthy? Charlotte, are you sure he'll be able to solve the problem for you, instead of making it worse?"

Charlotte sniffed and couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"Come on, Aaron isn't that unreliable; he's very serious when it comes to business," Charlotte smiled and said. "He's just free-spirited and doesn't like to be tied down, so he's a bit more relaxed than most people."

However, after seeing that Charlotte dialed over and over again without an answer, Sherry shrugged and said, "Are you sure he's reliable?"

Charlotte gave an awkward dry cough.

What was Aaron up to again? Why wasn't he answering his phone?

At this moment, she began to miss her gentle and reliable sister, Diana.

Unfortunately, Diana's talent was in music, and she didn't know much about hacking.

What Charlotte didn't know was that Aaron was with Diana right now.

At this moment, Aaron had shed his usual carefree demeanor, and his handsome, striking face bore a hint of coldness. "When did Charlotte get together with him? How did this jerk deceive Charlotte?"

If he hadn’t overheard Diana and Charlotte’s conversation by chance, he wouldn’t have known about it.

Since the last incident at the concert, they had warned Charlotte not to get close to Kingsley, even though they knew she loved him.

However, they didn't realize she was still sneaking around with Kingsley.

Diana was a bit taken aback and didn't know how to respond. "I’m not too sure," she said, biting her lip and speaking carefully. "Charlotte said Kingsley helped her when she was a child but didn’t recognize her. Only after she took the initiative to confess her love did Kingsley accept her. So, it shouldn't have been a long-planned move by Kingsley to get close to Charlotte..."

"What?! This jerk didn’t even recognize my sister? And you mean it was Charlotte who had to take the initiative to approach him?" Aaron was infuriated and rolled up his sleeves. "This idiot!

I'll have to teach him a lesson!"

Diana was speechless. She pulled him back and said loudly, "Aaron, calm down first. The most important thing now is not this!"

"Not this? Then what is it?" Aaron asked, realizing the gravity of the situation. "Yes! You have to explain this to me first. What's going on? When exactly did Charlotte get together with Kingsley, and why don’t we know anything about it?"

Diana took a deep breath and calmed down a bit before saying, "Aaron, there’s no point in dwelling on what happened before. What you need to know is that Charlotte is in love with Kingsley, but Kingsley is a dangerous person. I’m worried about her..."

"You checked out Kingsley and the Livingston family behind him, right?" Aaron asked after a few moments of thought.

"Yes, but it's the same as the previous investigation. I haven't been able to find out anything more about Kingsley's history," Diana replied with a frown. "The Livingston family isn't small, after all, and it's hard to really investigate what they're trying to hide."

"Send me a copy of all the information you have on Kingsley, and I'll investigate on my side as well. I'd like to see what kind of secrets the Livingston family was hiding back then and what kind of bastard this Kingsley is!"

Diana nodded. "Okay, I'll send it to you, but you have to promise me one thing."

"What is it?"

"Charlotte and Kingsley can’t let Chris and Ian know that they’re already together," Diana said. "Once they know, they'll definitely take a tougher line, and with Charlotte being in a hot relationship right now, I’m worried she’ll take a hard line with them, and a bigger fight will happen."

Aaron sniffed and fell silent.

The fact that Charlotte and Kingsley were in a relationship was by no means a small matter to the Scott family, and Aaron could only imagine how the others would react when they found out.

Diana was right. If Chris and Ian were told directly, it would definitely make things worse and hurt Charlotte more.

But what if he didn’t tell them? What if things got more and more out of control? Wouldn’t he be doing Charlotte a disservice?

Aaron hesitated, and Diana watched his changing demeanor, guessing what was going on inside him.

"Half a month," Diana said. "Aaron, let's set a time. If we can solve this matter in half a month, that’s the best; if not, then we can only be straight with Chris and Ian. Is that okay with you?"

Aaron contemplated for a moment before gritting his teeth. "Fine! According to you."

Diana breathed a small, unseen sigh of relief.

She sent all the information she had on Kingsley to Aaron, who scanned through it, his face growing more somber.

Aaron's eyes darkened, and he narrowed them as he said, "Kingsley, right? I have to go meet him."
