　　Emily and Andrew left the coffee shop and returned to the company.

　　"When you first came here, you had an agreement with the headquarters. If the branch company could not make a profit, you would resign and ask the headquarters to continue funding the branch company." Cecil sat up straight.

　　"I didn't forget it. So?" Emily hoped that he could be blunter. Cecil always liked to beat around the bush.

　　"The branch company has indeed improved, and the sales have increased by nearly 20 percent. This proves that you are capable. However, this is not enough. There is still a huge gap from the profit you promised. With such a speed of improvement, you can't complete the goal in two months. You are making everyone take the risk with you." The more Cecil spoke, the more emotional he became.

　　"Look at everyone's attitude towards you after you joined the branch company. Do you have the heart to make these employees lose their jobs because of your willfulness? If you can't achieve the goal, don't give them false hope," Cecil said righteously as if he was an elder who had good intentions and was trying to persuade a headstrong junior.

　　If it were someone else, they might start to doubt whether their actions were correct. They would already deny themselves and give up on the employees of the branch company. In that case, Cecil would succeed.

　　It was a pity that he was facing Emily.

　　Emily pretended to listen attentively. But, she was thinking about the meeting.

　　Cecil was thirsty, but Emily didn't ask Andrew to get him some water. Cecil could only stay thirsty, and he hated Emily even more.

　　"Don't you have anything to say?" Cecil asked unhappily.

　　"If you come to me just to say this, I think our conversation can end here." Emily raised her arm, indicating that she didn't have time for Cecil anymore.

　　There was a knock on the door.

　　"Emily, it's almost time for the meeting." Andrew tapped on the door.

　　Cecil stood up slowly and said, "The toy factory of the Evans Family is famous in the industry. We lost this powerful partner because of you." His words contained condemnation. He could no longer pretend to be friendly to Emily.

　　"I think I have solved this problem. We chose to cooperate with another factory. Now, the quality of the toys remains the same. Moreover, the cost has been reduced because our orders are more than they thought." Emily stood up and said confidently, "Speaking of losses, it is a real loss for the Evans family to lose the orders from us."
