Last chance

Victoria's POV

I felt the tears on my cheek dried up, but I wasn't bothered about it.

''Are you still crying.'' She asked from her cell with a mockery Chuckle which angered me the more, but I totally ignored her and closed my eyes hoping sleep would come so soon or probably a slow and painless death would come my way through my sleep.

With my eyes closed I could hear hasty footsteps coming my way and without being told I knew it was alpha Derick because I felt the hair in my skin quivered in Cold.

Quickly, I rose to my feet and stood before my cell gate with my hands on the gate while I waited for him to get to me.

I noticed two shadows coming my way in the dark, before I was able to see their faces.

He stood before me with anger and hatred on his face while his eyes speaks danger and pain.

''Alpha…'' I tried to call out to him, but he shut me up with his Palm lifted to me.

''Tell us where you kept your charms, so we can destroy it, then Maybe I can take off the death sentence off you.''

Quickly I shook my head and swallowed in pains before speaking up

''Believe me Alpha, I don't have any charms with me.'' I pleaded.

I noticed he groaned angrily and clenched his fists.

''Don't get me angry, this is your last chance, you will show us where your charms are kept, and you will destroy it.'' He ordered

I gulped in pains and wondered why all this was happening to me, how on earth will I destroy a charm I have no knowledge about.

''I swear on the moon goddess I know nothing about charms and spell.'' I begged as tears stood in my Eyes, but I held them back.

Suddenly, he banged heavily on the gate with his two hands, which made me flipped in fear and moved inside my cell.

We met eyes with each other and I could feel the anger burning in his eyes while his hands were shaking on the cell gate.

''Calm down Alpha.'' Anthony spoke up,

I noticed alpha Derick took in a deep breath with his gaze fixed on me, but I quickly looked away in fear.

''Anthony.'' He called out while taking a few steps away from the cell

''Yes alpha.''

''What must I do.'' He asked

''It's either the charm is being destroyed or the person who did the charms is killed.'' The moment I heard those words From Anthony, my eyes widen in fear, and instantly I lost my voice.

''Very well then, get her ready, she will be stoned tomorrow by noon.'' He declared firmly and walked away from the cell, but I rushed to my cell gate and banged on it.

''I'm innocent.'' I cried out while I kept banging on the gate.

''I did nothing, I'm innocent, please believe me.'' I cried out to him, but I realized he has already left the cell.

''No….'' I screamed in pains at the top of my voice as I felt my heart tearing into pieces.

''What did I ever do wrong, tell me moon goddess, in what way I've I offended you, why do you hate me this much.'' I yelled in pain, filled with anger.

''It seems we are fated to die on the same day.'' The lady in the cell opposite murmured with a soft sigh.

''No.'' I whispered in pains and collapsed on the floor while I cried out my heart in pains.

While crying out in pains I wish I could turn back the hands of time, I wish I never came to this Town, then maybe I would have lived a fulfilled life in Australia.

''You should get some sleep, you will need all the strength you would need for the Big day.''she spoke nonchalantly, which made me wonder if she wasn't bothered about it.

I collapsed on the cold floor and lay on it with my stomach while I shut my eyes and forced myself into a deep sleep, hoping I won't wake up from it, at least it was better than being stoned to death.

I saw a big brown wolf howling and running in a thick Wood, like it was being pursued by someone, but I couldn't see who was after it.

The wolf kept running until it got to an edge, which, I assumed, was the end of the Wood.

I noticed the wolf howled angrily for a while before someone appeared from nowhere.

''I can see you are done running.'' The man whose skin was white as snow spoke with a devilish smirk on his face.

Angrily, the Wolf howled and tapped its forefeet on the ground before it rushed and attacked the man, but he was quick and fast.

He grabbed the wolf by its neck and tried to struggle it, but the Wolf vanished into thin air.

Slowly I opened my eyes and stared around, only to realize that I was still in the cell and all that was a dream.

Slowly, I sat on the floor and tried to process what I just saw in my dream.

I knew this dream was not an ordinary dream because it felt so real and feels like I was there even though I didn't see myself.

I went into deep thought and realized this was the first time I was seeing such a wolf, but I could feel it in my body, that this wolf was so familiar to me, like I knew it all my life.

Without being told I knew the man who I saw in the dream was a vampire, his White pale skin, the red color of his eyes and the fang he brought out when he wanted to struggle the big Wolf, all showed he was a vampire, but I was confused on why I should have such a dream.

''You are finally awake.'' The girl from the opposite cell spoke up.

Sighing heavily, I moved my gaze to her cell and this time I could clearly see her face because her roughly scattered hair was no longer covering her face but rather she packed it in a bun.

I stood up from the floor and stood in front of my cell gate, so I could take a proper look at her.

She has brown eyes which matches the color of her hair, but in those eyes I could see pains and anger.

''Are you ready.'' She asked

I knew what she meant because it was already dawn, but I didn't say a word in reply.

We heard two hasty footsteps, and my heart began racing in fear as I anticipated on what to come.

The two cell guards walked up to her cell, opened it and pulled her out.

I met eyes with her as she was being dragged, but all I could see was a small smile creeping on her face.

I fell on the floor and cried out loudly in pains because I knew I would be next.

Each minute that pass by, I always await the sound of footsteps, but nothing happened.

Seconds turned into minutes and minutes grew into hours, but I saw nothing.

Sighing heavily, I closed my eyes and wished her perfect peace and rest in God's blossoms.

My eyes were still shut when I heard footsteps coming in. Quickly I stood up in fear and await what to come.

But to my greatest surprise, I saw the lady in the opposite cell being dragged into her cell while her cell gate was quickly locked.

The cell guard gave me a quizzical look before walking away.

''What happened.'' I asked

She exhaled in relief and sat on the floor

''Seems the moon goddess has favored me.'' She murmured tiredly.

''What do you mean.'' I asked

She took in a deep breath and rested her head on the wall

''My case was adjourned by your Alpha.'' She sighed heavily like she was not happy about the decision.

''Me, did you hear anything about me.'' I asked curiously.

She didn't say a word, but rather she gave me a pity look, which meant only one thing.
