A Plaything For CEO Blackwood

# 113 Shy Little Boy

# 113 Shy Little Boy

“So… Do you like stay alone?” she asked as he opened the door to his bedroom for her to walk in.

“Yes, my father lives in the heart of the city. I on the other hand prefer the isolated quiet neighborhood,” he chuckled.

She huffed and went in, taking a quick glance towards his bed. “Hmm,” she muttered, once again impressed. She never heard brothers but she thought keeping things in order was alien to boys.

“There is the wardrobe, pick anything you like.” He offered as he stood behind.

“Okay.” she smiled, walking slowly to the shelf.

Jennifer searched through his closet and she soon found a matching hoodie and pants. “This? Hope you don’t mind?” she asked and turned to face him, holding up the clothes.

“Of course not, you are free to pick anyone you like.” He replied with a warm smile.

“Okay then,” Jenny uttered and walked to the bed. She tossed the clothes on the bed and began to take off her gown by slowly unhooking the arm.

Marshall turned his back to her immediately and she huffed. She pulled off the gown and let it fall to the ground, leaving her in her matching underwear, and then she put on the joggers.

Still holding on to the Hoodie, she looked at him in disappointment. Why was he just standing over there? When was he going to get the message?

“Um, can you come help me with this? My nails are just too long that I can’t wear them myself?” she requested.

She could sense the hesitation from him before he turned to face her, trying to avoid staring at her chest. “Um… Yeah, sure.” He said coldly, he was trying hard to act unaffected by her clear attempt to seduce him but his eyes told a different story.

Marshall came closer and took the hoodie from her, maintaining a holy distance. He helped her put on the hoodie, ensuring to his best effort that he didn’t touch her inappropriately.

“Ugh! Screw you! so boring!” Jennifer groaned in frustration as she pushed him to the bed and headed for the door, she was tired of trying, he was just not getting it.

“Wait! Wait!” he said quickly and ran after her, he grabbed her by the waist, spinning her around just before she could leave the door and pinned her to the wall, one of his hands curled around her waist while the other was against the wall just above her head.

“I am sorry, I didn’t mean to be boring, I just wanted to be respectful.” He smiled, looking her in the eyes for what seemed like the first time tonight.

Jenny huffed and rolled her eyes. “I will tell you when I want you to be respectful, Mr. Marshall.”

There was a little silence between them and then he spoke. “You have beautiful eyes.”

“I have heard those before,” she replied sharply, a little blush on her face. The tension and heat from the moment was spreading through her body, making her heart race.

Marshall smiled. “I am not sure there is anything I can say to you that you haven’t heard before.” He muttered.

“Then stop talking already and start acting… Have you even kissed a girl before?” she shot at him.

A little chuckle escaped his lips and then he answered with a passionate kiss; that was all the cue that Jenny needed to kiss him back and quickly push him back to the bed. She made him lie on his back and climbed on top of him, pinning him down with her hand on his chest.

“Learn to read the room, Sir.” she whispered at him and then jumped right back at his lips. Jennifer loved being in charge, she always wanted to stay on top and control things.

She quickly took off the hoodie that she had just put on and tossed it off the bed, then she ripped his buttons open and kissed him wildly, running her hands through his broad chest, feeling every curve and turn.

“Wait!” he suddenly paused, holding her up. “Are you sure about this?”

“Ugh! Virgin boy,” she mocked and made to get off him, a bit turned off by his question.

But he grabbed her waist and flipped her around, getting on top of her. A smile spread across her face. Okay, she also loved a man who knew how to take charge!

The light from the morning sun rays brought Annabel’s sleep to an end, she groaned softly and opened her eyes. Although still blurry, she could see a figure standing by the window. With a clearer view, now fully awake, she noticed Maxwell Blackwood.

He looked lost in thoughts standing by that window, staring out through the open curtains. Anna knew something had been bothering him since the previous day but she had gotten distracted by the whole Linda drama that she couldn’t ask him.

Throwing the duvet off her body, she got down from the bed and walked slowly to him. He didn’t react to her footsteps; he must have been lost in thoughts. Annabel approached him and hugged him from behind.

“Hey,” he called softly as his attention returned to his surroundings, “You are up… hope you slept well?”

“I should be asking you that. You look worried, what is wrong?” she asked as she placed her head over his shoulder and sniffed his neck. Of course she had to stand on her toes to be able to do that.

Maxwell sighed and made to turn, so she let go of him. He turned around to face her and then caressed her right cheek. “I don’t know, Anna. It is my family,” he began.

“What about them?”

“Remember when I told you I was having some issues at work? Well, it is my father, he is just trying to get on my nerves with every opportunity he gets. But then there is a much bigger chapter from which that page is pulled out. You see, while I am at an unnecessary war with my father, my family is falling apart and I don’t know if I am being selfish by not wanting to get involved. Tell me Anna, am I doing the right thing by staying away?” he asked.

Annabel was silent, like she took a moment to think and then she looked up at him. “Max, it is only human of you to protect your own peace of mind, you are mad and angry and hurt by your family and that is all valid. If you decide to stay away, no one has the right to judge you, but then I don’t think that is really what you want.”

“What do you mean?” MB asked, a bit lost in her speech.

Annabel sighed and then placed her hand against his chest. “If you really don’t care what happens to your family, then we won’t be having this conversation right now, the truth is that the situation is appealing to your humanity, to the heart deep within you which you love to deny, you are not as heartless as you think, Maxwell Blackwood.”

Maxwell’s face lightened a bit as his lips curved into a small smile. “So what are you suggesting that I do, my lady?” he queried.

“Well, first of all, ask yourself if there is something you can do to make the situation better, if you know how to help them, then you already know what you have to do, and it won't be because I asked you to, it will be because you have always wanted to.”

“You know it is not yet too late to become a therapist?” he teased and Anna scoffed.

“Don’t be silly, Mr. Woods,” she taunted and hugged him, sniffing his morning scent.

“Thank you, Ann.” He spoke softly.

She looked up at him. “Don’t mention,” she replied with a small smile.

Mr. Blackwood held her jaws and made a move to kiss her, but she obstructed by placing her hand against his chest. “Hey! I haven't brushed my teeth!”

“Shut up Ann!” he waved her off and pressed their lips together, making her giggle in between.

Slowly breaking the kiss, Anna looked away shyly. “Um… I need to go get ready for the office.” She announced.

“Huh? Are you serious right now? No way!” He said in refusal.

“What?” she grumbled.

“After what happened yesterday, do you really think it is a good idea to go to the office, even with a hundred security men. You said it yourself, if she could get past security, she could easily get to you again.”

“Ugh! I said a lot of stupid things, I was scared, okay? I am sure I will be fine.”

“I am sorry, but I disagree with you. just to be a hundred percent safe, you should stay indoors for the meantime. At least just stay here until I have dealt with our Linda Problem.” He appealed.

“Really? Do you intend to lock me in here alone, Mr. Blackwood?” she asked with a frown on her face as she folded her arms.

“Come on love, don’t sound like that. It is just for a few days but if you must go out, then we will go out together.” He suggested.

“Fine, since you offered, I know somewhere we can go together.” Anna announced as she hung her arm around his neck and stared at his lips.

Maxwell smiled, curling his arm around her waist and pulling her closer. “And where would that be, my lady?’

“The hospital!” she announced and his face dropped.

“The hospital?” he queried.

“Yeah, I think we should go get the DNA test done today,” she suggested. “I noticed you have forgotten about it, remember what we discussed?”

Mr. Blackwood looked disappointed to hear that, clearly it wasn’t what he expected. “Come on Love, is it necessary? I already told you that I don’t mind who the baby belongs to? I will accept him either way for as long as you give me your permission.”

“I know we have discussed that but this is for my own curiosity, Max. please, for my sake, I need to know.” She pleaded.

“What is it going to change, Anna? What is knowing the father going to change? My feelings for you wont change.” Max argued.

“I understand that but I won't be able to rest without knowing for sure who the father of my baby is, try and understand, Max. put yourself in my shoes, would you want to live with that doubt and uncertainty?” she explained.

Maxwell sighed, he was a bit reluctant but he gave in eventually. “Alright… Fine, get ready, we will leave by noon. I would book an appointment with a Doctor.” He announced.

“One more favor, can we do this at a hospital of my choice?” Anna requested.

Maxwell furrowed his eyebrows. “Why?” he asked curiously.

“Please, I just want an accurate result,” she begged.

“Okay, I have a better idea. We will go to a hospital of your choice, and then to one of my choice as well.” he suggested.

Anna smiled. “Fair enough, but has anyone told you how petty you are,” she frowned, feigning anger.

“Yeah, I think I have heard that a couple times.” He chuckled and tried to kiss her.

“Go away, Mr. Woods, I hate you!” she murmured and pushed him back as she left the room.

“Come on love, don’t you think it is too early to be cranky?” he teased and followed her.
